Brandyine Asylum. A place that not many have heard of, but those who have are obviously terrified of it. It's called a mental asylum, but it's more like a jail than anything else. It seems like the light of the sun doesn't make it past the large fence surrounding the building and everything else near it. It's surrounded by a forest with wild dogs in them, alert and ready to attack anyone who tries to escape, as well as anyone trespassing. There are strict schedules and many rules to follow, if anyone dares to break a single rule, severe consequences await them. There are even rumors of people getting tortured in the basement of the asylum, because they tried to escape and run away. Of course the rumors are spread by the guards, in order to scare the patients to stop some of them from trying to escape.

Those who do somehow make it out, are often much worse then when they were before. The guards are cruel, and seem to enjoy mocking some of the patients and even hurting a few. The nurses are rough when giving medicine and aren't afraid to slap the patients they think are acting up. The man who founded the place a hundred years ago is still somehow alive and doesn't look a day over forty. He often roams around the place, and flirts with the nurses wanting to get down their pants, as he's a pervert, and has even harassed some of the other patients before.

What makes it worse is that most the patients can't fit in with the outside world, even if they wanted to. There's a whole lot more to it than them just being people with mental disorders with no chance of living normal lives. They're also abnormal people, with abnormal powers, but most of all, they're just broken children that need some love.

"Alright patients it's time for all of you to wake up... The schedule goes as follows. At 8:30 you will get their shots and other medicine, along with breakfast. At 9:30 you will ALL go out to take a walk in the forest behind the asylum... Around 11:30 you'll spilt into some groups and watch a movie or two, afterwards you'll all go to our group therapy sessions. At 2:30 you will take some more medicine, along with eating lunch. From 3:30 to 5:55 you'll be allowed free time before dinner, and bedtime is at 10:00 sharp. Anyone outside after ten without any supervision will face severe consequences." The announcer said before there was a slight click, indicating that the intercom had been turned off.

August looked around the room, his red eyes moving slowly as he got up off the bed. He hadn't been sleeping and had simply sat in the middle of the bed, in the same position, for the entire night. He hadn't moved at all, with the exception of talking a bit when the voices had came back after the medicine wore off. He then smiled and stood up, walking over to where his clothes were contained. He was no longer allowed to wear long sleeves or pants after he choked one of the patients with them and had to wear shorts and a short sleeved shirt at all times, even if it was a bit cold, and today it was most definetly getting chilly, as it was early November. He also hated wearing shorts and short sleeved shirts, as they showed most of his scars, some of them done by him while others were done by his mother and several others. In fact down his left arm there was a scar That said worthless, and it had almost killed him from his deep it had been and his much blood he had lost.

He changed into a simple white shirt with black shorts before adjusting the Bobby pins that were placed in his hair. Almost immediately after there was a slight knocking on the door, before someone called his name. "August? You dressed and ready?" A young nurse asked before opening the door, several small clicks ringing in his ears before it opened, telling him that he had definetly been locked in. "Yup! I've been ready for a while now!" He said as he skipped out the room and towards the cafeteria, ignoring the nurse that was telling him to wait for her.

He then opened the doors to the cafeteria and entered along with a few other patients, who stayed clear of him. He was quite infamous, and although he really didn't like all the attention the only thing he could do was pretend to be something he wasn't, which he would rather die than ever try doing. He stood in the line that everyone was getting their medicine and looked curiously at the needle that pricked his arm, enjoying the sharp pain as it pierced his skin and a single line of blood slowly made its way down his arm. He was given one more needle and three pills to swallow, which he did. 'If I'm good then I'll earn good boy points.' He thought happily as he got in the line, though it would all go into the trash later. The food didn't taste right to him, and he could never stomach it, and it would always end up coming back up anyways.

(Sorry it took me so long to make the starting post. Something suddenly came up and I wasn't able to get online like I had originally planned.)

Delanie woke in cold sweat. Her dream that night was the same nightmare that followed her when she arrived at the asylum. The body of Dan writhing on the floor, blood pouring out of his mouth and flooding the room. His laugh everywhere yet nowhere. Everything in the dream was disorienting, and once Del woke from it, she normally couldn't fall back to sleep. The medicine she was given did nothing to help any of this, so after a couple hours of restless sleep, Delanie sat in bed waiting for the intercom to tell her to get ready.
When the bell finally did come, Delanie jumped from her spot in bed, throwing the covers off of her and cowering in the corner. When she realized it was only the announcements, she slowly stood, her barefeet cool against the linoleum floor.
The nurse let herself it without knocking, setting down the tray she was carrying and pursing her lips. "Time to go." she said, balancing the silver tray on her hips. Delanie slowly made her way out the door, scared of what might happen today. She poked her head out the door, jumping back into the nurse as another kid dashed down the hallway. The tray clattered to the ground, and Delanie covered her ears, wincing and looked at the bent over nurse.
"You're lucky I don't hit you with this, girl." She threatened, standing up and walking out of her room.

Belarus slept somewhat peacefully for once, since he was so small and frail, the drugs worked stronger on him, not that the nurses cared.
Sitting up when the announcement was made he let out a small sigh. Did they plan on letting the dogs loose in the forest? Hunt them all down? That would be interesting. ... definitely interesting. After pulling on his pants and long-sleeved shirt, he waited patiently for the nurse. His eyes cast down when the door clicked open and he followed after her in silence. He could feel her emotions, tell her mental state.. hear her thoughts and it caused him to give a twisted grin before going back to normal. They reached the cafeteria too fast. He wandered into the line where they received drugs and food and waited his turn. His long blue hair was tied up into a small and cute ponytail at the back while he had to squint his eyes to see properly. He wasn't allowed glasses, as he could just as well use them as a weapon and no one also bothered or trusted him enough. If he had his powers, he'd use a thin layer of water over his eyeballs that worked like contacts. But he couldn't.

Looking around, the patient managed to find a lone table for 4 and sat down with his food, staring at it for a few moments before he picked up his cup and drank a little of water. He did seem to play with the cup at his lips before putting it down and starting to eat. It frustrated him that his body was shaking, probably making him look like a chihuahua.

August had noticed that he had almost run into someone while he was running down the hallway, though it wasn't like he could find her again and apologize, that and he hadn't even seen her face and he had no idea who she even was.

"Why don't you go sit over there?" One of the voices names Darren asked, interrupting his thoughts. The medicine never worked right away for him anyways, and usually took about half an hour for it to fully kick in. "Are you crazy? Those guys are jerks, and the last time I almost choked one of them I think..." He said out loud. "Then what about over there?" "Their suuuuuper boring and just scream when I sit there, besides I'm not allowed to sit over there anymore... I need to sit with someone I haven't sat with before." He said before his eyes landed on a boy with blue hair, who only looked a tad bigger than Auggie himself, maybe just an inch or two. "He looks interesting." "He's just gonna bore you too, or piss you off." "yeah yeah, that's what you think, even I can have friends." "Monsters like you don't have the privilege of making friends." "Just shut up already you coward." August said before Darren slowly faded away as Auggie walked over to the blue haired kid, sitting down across from him, his feet brought up to his chest, as he didn't like them dangling near the floor. "Nice to meet you, my name's Auggie, what's yours?" He asked with a bright smile on his face. "I really like your hair by the way, I don't get to see that shade of blue often."

He was munching on a small strawberry when he peeked up and saw someone sit down. He felt anxiety set in, making his heart speed up and pupils get wider. He heard of this guy, he tried to strangle another patient, right? He didn't bother trying to use his ability, although he still could for at least 20 minutes, the cafeteria was full of people and it would make his nose and ears bleed.. literally. He licked his lips of the strawberry juice and remained silent for a second before he started to play with his sleeves. "..Bela" He said, his voice soft. It was so gentle compared to all their handlers, it was also kind of feminine for a boy. He reached up and touched a lock of his fringe. "..thank you" He added softly, managing a small smile. He really wished anxiety and shyness didn't get in the way like this.

Delanie crept out of the room, slowly making her way down the hall as not to make too much noise. Noise meant attention and attention meant people staring, judging. She didn't like the thought of that.

She didn't really like the thought of anything.

As Del arrived in the cafeteria, her nurse turned around and handed De her morning meds, making sure that she took them. Delanie downed the pills, almost eager for their effects to take hold. Normally, her pills took the paranoia, the distrust away, and left bliss nothingness in it's place.

They didn't get rid of the memories, though.

Delanie grabbed her usual oatmeal, sitting down at a nearly empty table that only had two other boys at it. She hoped that they wouldn't say anything to her. Social interaction wasn't exactly her forte in the morning. Or any time of day, for that matter. She just wanted to eat her oatmeal in peace.

Auggie noticed that Bela seemed a bit shy, though it wasn't the boring type of shy that he was used to, rather it was a rather interesting shy. "Bela, that has a nice ring to it." He said as he looked down at the food. He tore off a piece of pancake and cautiously put it in his mouth. The moment it touched his tongue his almost gagged and took the piece of food back out before quickly getting up and throwing everything away, including the tray. He quickly sat back down at the table and noticed somebody else had sat along with them. "Oh yay, a new addition!" He said quite happily, even though the other two didn't seem all that lively. 'Gus, it's too early in the morning. Tone it down a bit.' A different voice said. This one was feminine and August had named her Cassidy. "Oh you're right Cas, it's still really early for them I guess." He said as he modded his head along with what he was saying. "Still... Darren was right... You should've stuck with the jerks." "No way, jerks are jerks for a reason. You don't purposely socialize with them." He said pouting a bit, before realizing he didn't know the other's name. "What your name?" He asked, looking over towards the girl who had sat down only a few moments ago.

He licked his lip before tilting his head. He looked over at the girl and noticed she had blue hair too, just a lighter shade. He let out a soft hum and watched the albino boy before he tilted his head to the other side. Unable to eat and talking to himself. He already fogured the boy has either a multiple personality thing or voices in his head. He figured it was the latter but he didn't bring it up. His eyes calculatind but still timid.

Apollo aka Void woke up in his cell, his hands chained to the floor and laying on a crappy pillow with a thin blanket over him. He stood and tried to move to his closet. He was once again too far away to get anything from it. Stupid guards with their stupid rules against dangerous inmates. Instead he changed into some clothes he picked out the night before that he left by him. It consisted of a gray t-shirt, a black and gray striped hoodie and black jeans along with some black and white tie up shoes and black socks with snakes printed on them. He then heard the familiar clicking and unlocking of his cell door. He quickly brushed his hair ears tails and teeth before the door swung open and the guard began to go through the usual routine.

The guard spoke in a monotone voice and said what he said everyday, "Line up against the back wall, your hands to your sides. If you try to do anything I don't like I won't hesitate to electrocute you. If you say anything I don't like I won't hesitate to duct tape your mouth shut. Understand?"

Void rolled his eyes and turned walking towards the wall. The guard then walked inside, replacing the chains tying him to the ground with enhanced handcuffs that he could barely move his hands. He was then pulled by the ear towards the cell entrance and left for the day with a guard drifting behind him. He was extremely dangerous and he couldn't be left alone with anyone.

He walked into the cafeteria and got a shot of some sort of chemical in his neck. He didn't know what it was and he didn't care because the meds never did anything. Instead it just hurt a little and he liked the pain so he didn't care. He grabbed a helping of fruit and a few slices of bacon before sitting down not too far away from three people. He ate quietly, tapping out a tune on the table with his fingers subconsciously. He wasn't going to talk to them unless they talked to him. It was too early to deal with people today.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" Auggie asked noticing the look. He slowly felt around his face, though he didn't feel anything out of place, thankfully. "You really are an idiot..." Cas said before sighing. "Just because I don't think like you Cas, doesn't mean you have to be such a jerk." He said before flicking the table. He attention was then grabbed by someone else, who sat down not too far from them. "Well, we finally have someone hot at this asylum." He said as though he was relieved. It wasn't that he had never seen the guy before, Auggie just hadn't been paying much attention. "I'll be right back." He said looking towards Bela "unless you wanna come with me to talk with the hottie." He offered before walking over to the other's table.

"Hey, mind me asking if you wanna come sit out at our table? There's another spot open that's waiting for you." He said glancing back at the table, before glancing back at the guy. "Wait I did that wrong most likely... First off, my name's Auggie. What's yours?" He asked as he looked curiously at the other, wondering where he would fall in the categories. Jerk, boring, friend, or to be avoided.

He tilted his head, shaking his head before he blinked, face flushing at the question as he glanced back at the guy. "I'll um... just s-stay here.." He said, fiddling with his sleeves. He did slightly turn towards the guy though while Auggie spoke to him. He was sort of involved into the conversation so he sort of waved as a little hello to the silent guy.

Eve looked at th ceiling, hearing the intercom, but could seem to put the words into thoughts. They floated right on out of her brain before she could understand what they where saying. She was to occupied with trying to breath normally. Her nightmares where relentless, leaving her tucked into the corner of her bed, sweating and biting her lip. It was cold, and it agitated her as she took the blanket off and slowly climbed from her safe spot. She threw on a cream white shirt with flowing like sleeves that covered her hands. Then put on sweat pants and black socks. She had a comb, but it had been taken from her as it was danderous, possible to harm herself with it. She never tried to harm herself that others knew about anyway.

She hurried brushed her hands with her fingers. Getting it to a halfway decent look. She walked out of the room and brushed past the nurse and walked to the cafeteria. The next nurse was ready to give the medicine, but Eve was way ahead of her. Her arm already extended and both her pill swallowed, she waited for the slow nurse to give her the shots.

Not even bothering with grabbing food, knowing her stomach can't take it right after waking up, she shuffled over to a lone table by two blue haired kids. She watched one of the residents of the table leave when she walked in, leaving the two blue haired one to themselves as he went to talk to another. She shivered at the cold, wishing for warmer climates. Her jackets had been confiscated by guards as a cruel joke for her always complaining it was to cold when she had them on.
It was unlike her to sit alone, and in fact she wanted attention. Or fire. One of the two would brighten the mood and she would take which ever she could get, but being a bit more recent addition the the asylum, she felt uneasy about the residents or was that her paranoia? (Open)

Delanie watched Auggie walk away, her large blue eyes trailing his movements. She fiddled her spoon, not having to appetite to finish the oatmeal. It was one of the long term side effects of the medicine, and one of the primary reasons she hadn't gained any weight since her time here. She glanced over at the other blue haired boy, pushing her similar locks behind her ear. Normally, she wasn't one to start any conversation, yet was about to before another girl joined the pair at the table. Del scanned her, worried of what she might say, before clearing her throat.
"I'm Delanie." she said, almost a whisper with her words.

He sort of seemed to twitch at the sound of a very silent whisper, a little introduction. He turned around, scanning the situation with his intense blue eyes and licked his lips. So many people.. it made him sort of.. scared. Letting out a soft breath he didn't know he was holding, he fiddled with his sleeves more. "..Bela.." He said softly, voice remaining gentle, but a little anxious. Good thing he was a good multitasker, otherwise he'd probably lose track in case someone spoke to him. He was sort of sitting sideways in his chair, able to look to either table as he pulled his legs up and hugged his knees close to his chest.

Void looked Auggie over. He screamed innocence meaning he'd be easy to manipulate. He could sense it immediately. He then looked over Delanie and Bela. They both seemed extremely shy. He was lucky he was a Kistune otherwise he wouldn't have heard them when they said their names. 'Cuties' he thought. None of them appeared threatening to him. Good. He could easily crawl under each and everyone of their skins.

He smiled at them but it looked more manic and creepy than friendly and loving, "Alright. I'll come sit with you." He stood and walked over to their table, "But the thing is, I wonder if me telling your our names would make you scared of me. After all, I am a killer."

The room was like a void of nothing. A sound proof door, no lights and hardly any objects, except for a mattress. Not even a single piece of cloth was set on his bed, meaning every night he only had the simple straitjacket and pants to keep him warm. Thirteen, a nickname given to him because he couldn't remember his name, waited until the guard took him to get his 'medicine', before he shrugged the Jacket off like it was nothing. Underneath was a black tank top, standing out because he was literally as white as a ghost, except for his eyes, which were sky blue and glowed brighter when he used his Telekinesis.

Everything was in his system. The medicine kept his Telekinesis at a minimal level, meaning he could do as little as lifting an object at a time with it. His powers were dangerous without the medicine. Ghost looked around the cafeteria and only really paid attention to the slapping of his bare feet on the floor. His eyes glowed and an outline of blue laid around the tray with food on. Ghost used this to bring his food over to a table nearest to the corner, where no one sat.

"It's quiet."

He muttered to himself as he used his power to feed himself the plain food they served at the asylum. Even though the chattering in the cafeteria filled his ears, he still felt like it was quieter than normal. Ghost raised his hand over the food and crushed it up into a small ball, lifted it to his mouth and swallowed it whole. It expanded once it was safely settled into his stomach.

Delanie gave a thin smile, scooping up oatmeal and slapping it back into her bowl with her spoon. "What can you do?" she whispered, seemingly to her oatmeal. She directed the question to Bela, igniting small flames on the four fingers of her right hand.

DuckPrince DuckPrince q r o w q r o w

Bela licked his lips before he tilted his head and watched Delanie ignite a small flame on her finger. He smiled a little bit and turned his palm towards the ceiling and a small butterfly out of water formed in his palm. "Water.. and mm..." He trailed off, looking up at the hot guy who walked over. The butterfly lost its shape and caused his and to get wet as well as his tray. He watched the guy before he licked his lips. He didn't know if what he did was considered murder but he was the one who made his father kill his mother and himself plus the 15 other people who died with him at the root of the reason. "..E..everyone here did something.. murder isn't that scary.." He said, looking at the guy in the eyes for a moment. Wonder what he's thinking...

Auggie walked back over to the table, glad that his plan had succeeded and sat back down at the table, noticing that Bela thought that he was pretty hot too. "Ah you guys are pretty lucky... You actually took someone's life?.." He said, as though he was interested, and he actually was. "So then what did you guys do to land in here?" He asked, the thought of getting too personal not even crossing his mind. 'Gus, just shut up already. No one wants to hear your pathetic voice-'

'That's right, if you keep talking you won't get any good boy points. Why don't you just-' all the voices in his mind suddenly went quiet as the medicine finally kicked in. "Finally, they're done talking." He said mostly to himself, a small smile spreading across his face glad that he could have a little alone time.

"I blew up some students and teachers at my school with a bomb I created. I killed, like, 20 and injured over 100." He said casually before eating a bit of bacon. "They caught me on the security cameras when I thought I was avoiding them perfectly. I snapped on the stand and told them a part of my motive. They noticed how I was acting and assumed I was crazy and threw me in here with all the other psychos but they'll never know the full truth and they'll never get it out of me. You can't get it out of me." His irises flashed a deep red and he scowled. His pure void kistune soul tended to show sometimes through his eyes flashing red without him wanting them to. He didn't complain about it. He heard from the people he lived with at the orphanage that it made him look more badass. He disagreed. They made him look more evil and evil was exactly what he was.

He licked his lips again, tilting his head before he yawned, he was still tired even after sleeping somewhat nicely. Maybe he should perch up in a tree in the forest and take a nap.. or something. He tilted his head back, staring at the ceiling as he listen to Auggie and the hot guy. "I made 17 people kill others and themselves just by talking to them" He murmured, shrugging. "Anyone who kills is just a little bit crazy, even if they are not human" He said, yawning again. Bela knew that humans were not the only ones that exist in this world. One of the people he caused to suicide weren't human.

Auggie listened to their stories with great interest. "Ah wow, that's so cool!" He said after Bela and Void finished speaking. "Unless you don't want it to be cool, then it's not." He added a few moments later, his face holding almost no expression for a few moments. "Ah, so I'm guessing that you guys have some sort of ability too? I've noticed that it's a reoccurring thing around this place." He said as he glanced around, some people being the perfect example and showing off their abilities. He noticed that Void's eyes flashed red for a moment, though he didn't know if it was a part of his abilities, or if it was because he wasn't human.

Thinking about it, he had met someone that wasn't human. They were a half human half dragon hybrid if he was correct, though she had pissed Auggie off real badly and she was most likely dead now. That or she was still in critical condition, though he was guessing that they would've simply took her off the life support by now, after all it had been about three years since the incident.

"You seem quite tired, did you not get sleep?" Auggie asked Bela, as he zoned back in to the world that was currently around him.

Void only answered his question as it gave him a chance to talk about himself more, "My ability is Darkness Manipulation and the only reason I have that is due to the fact that I'm a Dark Kitsune," he said, flashing his red eyes for a split second, "Fox Spirit. Our souls grow tails as we age and, as you can see, I have nine meaning my soul or spirit or whatever is nine hundred years old but my vessel is only 17. Also, my name has something to do with my ability. That's just something to think about."

He let out another hum, tilting his head before he bit the joint of his index finger, to wake himself up a bit more and then shrugged. "I don't know.." He said before he played with his cup again. "Maybe it's just the drugs" He said, subconsciously reaching to the inside of his elbows and touching the spot there. His wrists and those areas on the inside of his elbows were covered in small dot scars from the plethora of times his father pricked him with needles. "You never told us your name.. but I guess... if I had to guess" He mumbled softly, biting his lip before he hummed. Something to do with darkness.. Dark? No.. "Void" He mumbled.
