Idea

Question, how strict is the rule of one gender going to the other gender's dorms? Are visits allowed? How heavily enforced are the rules, that is. Like can someone stay over at the other gender's dorms for a night if they stayed real quiet?

Well, supervised visits are allowed on occasion, but private ones no. This doesn't mean it's completely impossible to go there though. There are three conditions if you reeeaaaally want a character spending a night in the other dorm:
1. Subliminal has to be out: I don't think I told you his quirk, but to simplify it, he's pretty much always aware of everything that goes on the school. Sneak somewhere and he'll catch you. However, if he's out of town, there's no one to keep the information grid going.
2. Sneak in has to happen when people are going to their dorms: there is a short period of curfew for the students. If you go before the curfew, someone's bound to come looking for ya since ya probably skipping on classes. If you try going after, the alarm and generally closed and locked doors, plus the teachers doing the rounds at night will catch ya. So you have to do it when everyone is going to the dorms which is probably gonna involve disguises and accomplices.
3. Don't leave the room once you're in: The teachers and alarms are also watching the corridors at night. The most you could probably make it would be to the bathroom from a room, after that you're sure to get caught.

Of course, even with all of this, you will still have to deal with what comes after. Just because you spent a night in the other gender's dorm doesn't mean you'll get out in the morning so easy.
