BnB Nightmares

Rangel and the swashy are sickened 1, everyone else are not affected. As you move north, there is the largest goblin you've ever seen sitting on the floor, remnants of a chair around it. It is covered by a foul-smelling slimy substance. A crudely made iron crown with way too many gem stones sat upon its head. There were two bugbears nearby. They see all but one of the party and the bugbears roar and jump to action. The big goblin rises gingerly to its feet. No one notgices the stealthy Deagan.
 
Aramis confidently walks up to bugbear tormentor-A, only to miserably fail at coming up with a good insult and miss the bugbear entirely with his whip

"I really am off my game today. Ugh"

"Let's begin!" With her Halberd in hand the Tailed barbarian charges straight towards one of the Bugbears.
During the charge, her muscles expand, the weapon gets coated in a golden fire.
 
Camilla's weapon is brought down on top of the Goblin Tormentor-B slashing across it's body.
"Helloooooo!"

bugbear a moves behind Camilla, and attacks with its sickle while flanking and misses. bugbear b attempts a twin feint on camilla with its sickle and dagger while flanking and the sickle hits, dealing 8 damage. The dagger misses.
 
Tybalt comes charging in towards Tormentor B and slashes upward with his broadsword for 5 damage. “Hah!” He grunts.
 
The Goblin king flies into a titanic rage, busting out of his goblin garb like the incredible hulk. He runs and hacks at Rangel with his blade, provoking a reactionary strike from our fighter on the way. He roars again in rage as he misses.
 
flames begin to flicker around Deagan drawing all the warmth from the sounding air then suddenly his hand shoots out, and snowball flies at the closest bugbear, but it harmlessly zooms by him. As the snowball flies by, a fork shaped bolt of flame is already weaving through the battlefield and singes the distracted bugbear, just barely grazing the other bugbear.
 
In the midst of the chaos, Kharam has been observing his allies. His eyes fall on Camilla and her halberd, seeing the carnage it could cause. Tybalt was skilled, but they were not fighting well-armored enemies. This scenario demanded brutish violence unbound.

In the lulling nadir of her last strike, before she winds up for another, Kharam's hand brushes over the flat of the blade. Across its features, the same miasmic alien aura that covers him writhes over the whole of its frame. Eerie symbols reminiscent of eyeballs belonging to man, beast, and things that should not be shed iridescence.

Camilla can feel the faintest sapience attune to her own. The weapon matches her soul. It wants what she wants. It *will* cut all before it.

My brush is yours. Paint us their crimson grave in cyan sunset.
 
Aramis glares at the goblin king, as though disappointed, before whipping bugbear A (3 slashing damage) and then attempts to retch to stop being sickened
 
"This is? How marvelous Amadeus" The barbarian lady smiles at the elf, showing her canines.
"A weapon which can express better art! The instrument of a singer coupled with the artistry of a painter!"
The fire coated halberd sings as the air is broken by the strenght of its wielder.
 
Camilla swings her halberd at the goblin tormentor b. Relishing in its newfound force.
"SUCH A MAGNIFICENT SOUND!"
The strike meets flesh rending most of the already damaged Tormentor's body. Camilla's weapon forces its foe to hit the ground, albeit temporarily, making the sound echo through the battlefield.

Noticing it seems to still be alive Camilla smiles
"Quite strong, Love it~~~"
She gives her enhanced Halberd another try

The two bugbear tormenters eachb perform twin feints. Camilla is distracted by the fancy weapon displays and fails to notice their hidden weapons. the bugbears also do regular weapon strikes, but those miss. she takes a total of 28 damage from the two.
 
Her body is lacerated, the blood is spilled in the ground but the smiling barbarian does not seem to be negatively affected by it.
"HAHA YES! A SYMPHONY IS ONLY ONE WHEN A GROUP IS PERFORMING!!"
Camilla grabs her Halberd and gestures to the Bugbears.
"COME!!!"
 
Deagan continues the assault with everything he has mixing, fire and ice, the bugbears are wary of the fire fork but he manages to land a sold hit with an iceball
 
The unnatural aura suffusing him transmutes from a wispy, thin fog to a cloying, opaque miasma. Rivulets of the essence whip around him violently like fillaments of coagulating alien blood. The eerie, eyeball-like symbols erratically glance every which way, apparating and disappearing in ghostly fashion.

Most striking of all was the change in his demeanor. His posture had altered, back straightened and grip tightened. His stultified, lost visage, so devoid of attention and direction, was sharply and murderously focused with a cold malice and desire for efficient killing that had not been there before. Kharam seemed less a painter with queer tendencies and far more like a ruthless executioner whose contempt for life opposite his own was absolute.

And yet, perfection is never guaranteed. The blow, full of intent, hits naught but air even as the now-familiar illusory glow projects from where the most vulnerable and vital parts of his quarry illuminated with beckoning temptation. The glow persists, however, patiently waiting the wanting blow.

But the blade in his hand is not the only weapon at his dispossal. Kharam's eyes lock on the bugbear's, his will pouring through his pupils. Ghoulish pressure threatens to burst the blood vessels in his skull, and something must have given way as the telltale nosebleed betrays the result of Kharam's unseen assault. And there, a moment of uncertainty in the enemy's eyes! He is feeling the brutality of their assault now.

And through it all, not a word, only the unsettling wooden sound of his paint sword and the snapping of his madly flapping clothes so cumbersomely shadowing his every movement.
 
Rangel moves switflty to ease the pain of Camilla...although the barbarian doesnt seem very bothered by it, she is still hurt, but as much as she tries to treat her, she fails to keep the pace of the kitsune, even hurting her on a soft spot, so she opts for another choice. She gets her seaweed cup, and makes the barb drink it. The salty water (oddly) manages to restore some of the wounds, but still not enough
 
Aramis performs a flashy finishing move with his whip that leaves the goblin king stumbling, setting him up to do a pirouette right above his head, though he stops for a moment to hype himself up and calm his nerves, before succeeding and landing in a bow
 
Camilla's ravaged body heals slightly thanks to the effort of Rangel and even that small prickle of pain helps her to focus on what is most important.
"HAHAHAHAHA COME. WHAT IS GOOD OF LIFE IF YOU ONLY SPEND IT IN SAFETY?"
Her two hands get covered in the same fire of her weapon as she unleashes a devastating blow upon the Goblin Tormentor. Triggering its weakness as the blade slashes its chest.
"AURELIA ABOVE, BLESS US WITH MORE FIGHTS!"

Camilla is not falling for the same trick twice! She is not made off guard by the twin feint! Not only that, but both attacks miss. The bugbear moves next to its king.
 
Tybalt slashes his sword across the goblin king’s backside. He didn’t understand why Camilla took such joy in this battle. He treated this seriously. “Die, rancid beast!” He yells out in a grunt. 11 damage dealt to Goblin King with reactive strike. On his turn he strikes the king again for 8 damage, for a total of 19 damage.
