Bio : At a young age Serenity, a very sweet, kind and gentile child, was gifted with seeing demons. She didn't think much of it at the time. She just believed that they were just imaginary friends she would one day grow out of but that was not to be the case. As she grew older she saw that they would not go away and that they could do some serious harm if she didn't intervene but she was afraid to. It wasn't until her 16th birthday that she was discovered by the demons to be different than others and her family was attacked but during the struggle, when her life was in danger her hair and body began to glow blue and those around her felt warmth from her. In the peek of the fight, her hair was set aflame with two flames where horns would sprout and her ears and teeth grew sharp and a long slick tail grew. She then knew she was more different than she realized. It was then that she was sent to True Cross Academy to become an exorcist and use her powers for good.. She just hoped her powers would not make her a target or an outcast. She was really a sweet and tenderhearted girl.

Bio: Raised in the Shibuya district of Tokyo, Ryu was pushed to be a fighter since birth. Part of the most recent generation in a family of demon hunters, he was enrolled in martial arts classes almost right after he learned to walk. Unlike most of his peers in the class, Ryu loved the training, he relished getting stronger.


When he was seven years old, he was given the enormous honor of being offered training by the 64th Innocentius, which he wholeheartedly accepted. He then left with his new master to train in the Japanese alps. After 10 long years, his training was finally complete. He is one of only a handful of people who know the real name of the 64th Inosento.


He received the title of Inosento (Innocentius) from his mentor when he completed his training. It is a title passed down by demon and witch hunters for generations. The title includes the number the bearer is (65th in Rȳu's case; 64th in the case of his mentor) as well as a secondary title that makes reference to the specific traits of the bearer (Muteki KasaiBushi for Rȳu; Heiwanoban'nin for his mentor). It is a legendary and renowned title, dating back all the way to 3rd century when it was first held by the eponymous Saint, Innocent the first. However, it was kept a secret that Rȳu inherited the title, leaving the world to believe that it is still held by his mentor, Inosento LXIV, Heiwanoban'nin (Innocentius the 64th, keeper of the peace).

He has deep blue eyes, which are hidden behind his wraparound shades almost all of the time. The outside of his right forearm has a tattoo of gears on it.

Likes: Ryu spends most of his free time either training or researching Magic artifacts, for which he has a keen interest. Any time not spent doing those is probably spent on his official student responsibilities.


Dislikes: Ryu detests those who abuse or take advantage of those weaker then themselves, often intervening much more than he should. Despite what his actions may suggest, he is a deeply emotional and caring person at heart, dedicated to justice above all else.


General Personality: Most of the time, his mannerism and style of speech is very laid back and relaxed. He often jokes around, and enjoys messing with people. He is very intelligent though, which is evidenced by his complex vernacular. However, when he is in combat, his whole demeanor changes. He becomes focused and precise, with very little tolerance for error in his teammates. If he continues to sink into this version of himself, he can become sadistic, enjoying fighting and the damage he inflicts on his opponent. Usually, he can be easily snapped out of this state, but if he stays in it too long, it requires more and more effort to bring him back to his normal self. This duality is due to the fact that he suffers from a form of Dissociative identity disorder (Multiple personality disorder). His other personality goes by "Kai", and really only takes over when Ryu gets into fights, although Ryu would prefer he didn't at all. When Kai is in control, Ryu's eyes become a deep crimson, instead of the normal blue.


He has a strong belief in justice, and will always attempt to do what is just, regardless of what the rules might be.

Natural Abilities

Both of these are innate abilities that Rȳu (and Kai) can use. They are not acquired abilities. Why he has them is a mystery, even to him, although the fact that both abilities are types of Energy manipulation hints at a relation between the two. Rȳu has made a note to do future research on the subject in the future.


Pyrokinesis: Rȳu possesses the ability to create and manipulate fire. He has a wide range of control with the ability. In addition to normal fire, Rȳu and Kai can also summon Divine Fire and Unholy fire. Rȳu is more adept with Divine Fire, as he leans more toward light energy than dark. Conversely, Kai is skilled more in using Unholy Fire, since he is better with Dark Energy than light. Rȳu can also absorb existing fire.


Electrokinesis: Discovered significantly more recently than his other ability, Rȳu also has the ability to manifest and control electricity and electromagnetism. Because he hasn't had it for very long, he is still slightly unfamiliar with the ability and does not know its full extent or limits. One of his most common uses for it is to supercharge his railguns, increasing the electromagnetic output used to propel the sabot.


Shingantsu: (心眼通 Authority of the Mind's Eye):

Kindan shuhō: shinku-tan: (禁断手法深紅端 Forbidden Technique: Crimson Edge)


This is a strictly forbidden technique developed specifically for killing. Originally used by assassins in feudal Japan, it allows the wielder use any object as if it were a blade, effectively turning everything into a weapon. In addition to that, the user can also make existing blades even sharper, rendering them able to cut steel into ribbons. Because the technique aided the killing of so many, a decree was passed, calling for the immediate execution of anyone found to be practicing it. Over time, the technique became extinct, but the law remained, a relic of a distant age. This means Ryu could be put to death if he is found to be using it, so he has told no one of his possessing it. It is only known to Godsbane how Ryu acquired this ability and, like his Shingantsu, he has yet to master it and is inexperienced in its use. When this technique is being used, the wielder's eyes become red.

As such, if he does not meet the minimum calorie intake, which can be upwards of 6,000, he can go into fatigue and will eventually pass out. A sentient blade capable of setting itself ablaze. It does not have a set weapon appearance. Instead, it changes its form to match its wielder, having as many forms as blades its owner is proficient in. This is why it has so many forms with Ryu, as he is proficient with a wide range of blades.


When not in use, it is contained in Ryu's bloodstream and can be retrieved from any decently sized wound. To this end, Ryu keeps a large gash in his left hand so he can use GodsBane at any time. He keeps a bandage over the wound and has set his magical augmentations so that it will not heal normally.


One of his most prominent features is the ability to consume other magical items and the souls of magical entities. Doing so makes him stronger, although the power he gains from this ability is reset every time he gains a new wielder. Currently Ryu has only been able to feed him several low powered artifacts, the souls of a few minor demons, and the soul of a pure-blood vampire. Certain souls also give new abilities in addition to boosting his power.


GodsBane is also able to take on a human appearance when he chooses.

Divine Revolvers: Heaven's Judgement - "Iudicium Aetheris"

A set of dual revolvers that have been converted to railguns, which used to be a pair of Colt Pythons. They fire small sabots made of a Silver Platinum alloy, and are designed to only fire when held by their current owner, which is Rӯu. They have various projectile velocities ranging from Mach 1.5 (~1700 ft/sec) to Mach 10 (~11,200 ft/sec). Each gun holds 8 sabots for a total of 16 rounds.

Likes: Obsessed with speed of any kind, Cougar likes to go fast. Really fast. Like, insanely goddamn fast. He will always try to do things in the quickest, most efficient way, and constantly tries to break his own records.


Dislikes: Not surprisingly, Cougar's main dislike is going slow. He hates having to take his time, and will try to get out of anything that he has to approach slowly. He also gets quite offended when someone calls his speed into question Other than that however, he doesn't have a whole lot of dislikes. General Personality: Straight Cougar (Real name Daisukenojo Haynes) is a speed demon. His carefree and fun attitude is a sharp contrast to the more serious members of the True Cross order, as he seems to annoy most of them with his constant trouble remembering names. Radical Good Speed:

Radical good speed is a set of boots and greaves used by Cougar. They augment his speed even further, and also allow him more control over his speed; they make him able to go from full speed to stopped in just a fraction of a second, and to make near 90 degree turns with ease. They are the main "weapon" used by him and he mostly uses his kicks to fight.

Nick names : "Lil' Miss Dark and Edgy" - Her familiar

Bio : At a young age Amaya’s parents both died in a tragic accident and was sent to live with her Grandfather. He was a master swordsman and an exorcist, his son never took up the sword himself or even became an exorcist. So he saw Amaya as a “second chance”, he treated her well apart from but the training, it was long and brutal. She rarely got to meet or speak to anyone other than her Grandfather. One day her Grandfather took her with him on an exorcism job to him her more “first man experience” but the situation was worse than believed, surrounded quickly. Her Grandfather was killed trying to protect her. Just as she believed she would met her own end she was saved by a man whose body was covered in stiches, a Naberius calling himself the literal word Unknown. The Naberius then forced Amaya into being his master and becoming her familiar. All she has left of her Grandfather is his sword and his coat which she never takes off apart from washing it, but she never leaves a 50 meter radius from it. After the incident she was picked up by the school and made a student to finish her Grandfather’s wish of her becoming an exorcist.

Amaya is a very angsty individual and is always grumpy or angry about everything after losing her grandfather. Going as far as to take violent acts if provoked enough, thought this is usually towards her familiar as she finds him annoying and never even wanted him. This also makes want to be a loner and wanting to be the “bad kid” but her familiar refuses to let her.


Amaya’s familiar Unknown is quite the opposite even with being an abomination of various different people’s limbs and features he is quite the enthusiastic and happy individual. Always blurting out his opinions and thoughts, half of which to just annoy Amaya but he is a kind individual.


Quirks:


Amaya’s: Hitting her familiar for how he puts it “Stress relief”, being an undead he doesn’t feel it so he perfectly fine with it. It let him tease her more.

Bio : Yutaka, at a young age of 12, has always been protected and surrounded by Exorcist. Majority of his family was exorcist, his grandfather Bosho and grandmother was a Aria and Tamer, his auntie Masaya and uncle Satoshi were Knights and Dragoons and his mother Ikuma and father Minori were Dragoons and Knights as well. Everywhere he went he was accompanied by one member from his family for the neighborhood he lived in was constantly shrouded in demons. One night his mother and father had been possessed by an Incubus in their sleep and forced to fight each other. The noise of rounds and blades cutting the wind awoke Yutaka and called him into his parents room only to find both of them standing, their cloths soaked in blood and torn slightly, their weapons unhand and used completely and their lifeless eyes staring blankly at each other. This scene was truly horrific and it sent Yutaka into feeling true fear. Their bodies collapsed onto the red stained floor and two ghost like figures exited their bodies and glanced at Yutaka, baring their teeth in a cheshire-like smile and striking him twice in his left eye at blinding pace before vanishing into the dark corner of the room.

Yutaka, after training with his grandmother in demon Taming and discovering his familiars, decided to enroll into True Cross and become an Exorcist trained to be what his family needed most...

Bio : Katsukou is a Japanese native with old Korean shaman blood in his veins. His family (his mother side) is well aware of the spiritual world and have worked fighting of evil in Japan, Korea and many parts of Asia.


Katsukou’s parents are an excellent pair of spirit hunters that travels all over Japan, and at the same time they have tried their best to be good parents to Katsukou. They have raised him as a normal child, sending him to public school, having him make friends, and encouraging him to join school clubs despite knowing that they might move few months later. Even though, Katsukou’s parents wanted him to have an joyous childhood and not worry about the things that go bump at night.


As expected from his upbringing, Katsukou was not grown up to be a future exorcist. Instead his parents wanted him to have the choice whether or not to follow the family tradition. Katsukou did learned about the supernatural from his parents and even took self defence classes, but other than that Katsukou spend most of his school-age years having fun.


Katsukou’s seemingly mellow life turned complicated when he and his parents moved to Osaka in the summer when Katsukou was twelve. Osaka is the family region and many of Katsukou’s extended family lived around the area. While visiting a cousin’s house, Katsukou stumbled across a particular demon. The demon was sealed in a box full of gems and jewelries. The boy tripped, spilled open the jewel box, and freed the demon inside. Katsukou is not entirely sure what happened afterward, but the demon found him fancy and she stuck to Katsukou. Later Katsukou found out that he and the demon somehow formed a contract and the demon feed from his energy to sustain form.


After the event, Katsukou started to focus more of his time on the spiritual aspect of his life and started to seek physical training. He had to learn how to manage his life now that he was stuck with a being that constantly leeching his energy. The demon, Avyn, is frenetic being, energetic and carefree. Although the demon was controlled and contained by the contract (and plus some shamanic rituals done by the family), if Katsukou was not careful, the nymph could drain a lot of his energy and leave him tired.


Traveling for Katsukou and his parents did not ceased after they gained a new member to their small family. They all just accepted what had happened and treated Avyn as the family pet, teaching her the human world and training her (with Katsukou) to fight.


There was no doubt that Katsukou will end up going to the True Cross Academy, training to be a tamer. However, just as Katsukou thought all was planned out for his future, Avyn had messed up the plan. The winter before he entered the Academy, the family have travelled up to the Hokkaido island. There, Katsukou enjoyed snowboarding the famous Hokkaido’s powdered snow and just generally enjoyed his time at the island.


Behind his back, Avyn have befriend a young snow maiden. Avyn have charmed the demon with her strange appearance and magic. She whispered promises of adventure and friendship to the young spirit. Mesmerized by the water nymph, the maiden, named Yuisa, followed Avyn to the place where Katsukou stayed.


When Katsukou finally figured out what happened, he was enraged at Avyn’s selfish action. He wanted to chase away the ice demon, but after seeing that the creature was harmless and rather shy, Katsukou could not find the heart to be mean to the maiden, especially knowing that Avyn tricked the poor lady and the nymph have guilt tripped the boy to let the maiden join them for a little while.

Skills : Katsukou has fast reflexes and has strong legs that help him dodge and run from danger. He lets Avyn do the attacks knowing that her attacks are far stronger and effective that his own. This in no way means he is only able to dodge. Years of self defence classes and training under his parents, he can hold up well in normal, human fights.


Korean Shaman are known to be the middleman between the gods and men. They were believed to be descendants of the Heavenly King of Korea and are able to fall in to trance and do some other weird shit as Katsukou would say. Katsukou likes to believe that his shaman blood is so watered down that he cannot perform any proper shaman rituals. He does, however, burns white paper for good luck and blames his shaman genes for attracting the two demons.

Ayvn : The demon is a young water nymph originated from the Pacific Ocean. Her form is like of a mermaid, but when she is out of water, the tail fades like a ghost. Some may mistake her as a regular spirit seeing her float around Katsukou.


Her visibility depends on Katsukou. Usually, Avyn is very faded but when Katsukou needs her to fight, he will let Avyn to become fully visible to her tail. Distance wise, the more ghost like Avyn is, the further the nymph is able to be away from Katsukou. Also, when she is in water, she is able to distance herself very far from the shore.


Attacks :

Ideally, she is strongest when she is in water. In water, her physical attacks are deadly. With ridiculous speed and tail strength, Avyn can snap a person’s neck without a try.


Outside of the water, her physical attacks are reduced, but with the help of jewels from the box she was sealed in, Avyn is able to manipulate water and even summon salt water from the stones. To use her ability, more of Katsukou’s energy must be used.

Yuisa : Originated from the Hokkaido region of Japan, this fox demon have tagged along Katsukou and Avyn to adventure outside of her homeland. Although she is a free demon compared to Avyn, she has not wandered far from the two and usually have disguised herself as a fox to travel around town with Avyn and Katsukou.


For the time being, Yuisa is registered as Katsukou's familiar. Avyn jokingly tease Katsukou that the maiden can try possess him, having shaman blood and all that. Nothing of the sort has ever been attempted by Katsukou and Yuisa, and Katsukou wants to keep it like that.


Abilities : Being a snow demon, Yuisa has the ability to freeze water. Often, especially during hot days, she can be found freezing water bubbles that Avyn would form.


Snow maidens are known for luring people out into snowstorms and putting them to sleep. Although Katsukou have not witnessed Yuisa do anything like that, he has a sinking suspicion that she may have done something to comfort the lost soul around her home.


Although Yuisa have never healed anything, Katsukou have suggested that she may be able to use her freezing ability to help assist with first aid. She could freeze an open wound, stopping blood from pouring out.

Bio : Kaminari comes from two exorcists bloodlines, though one is extinct which is the bloodline his mother comes from renowned for taming dragon like demons. His father's bloodline the Kaminari are renowned for their possessing inborn supernatural ability to wield lightning/electricity. Both traits of course manifested themselves is Raikou in due time. Raikou had a general fascination for both lighting and dragons since being a baby. His stuffed animals were dragons and during thunderstorms he didn't cry like most babies. His first toys were toy katana and his first friend was a baby dragon his mother summoned for him which also gave him his first temptaint allowing him to see demons and the like.


He was raised in the Kaminari estate located in Kyoto, Japan. From a young age, he was taught how both how to fight barehanded and with swords in various styles by his father. His mother however was too busy researching and studying more about the art of summoning and taming. His father one said she did this so that her bloodline would never be forgotten. His mother publised a series of books on all her findings and research by the time she took ill when Raikou turned 13. But her biggest and final finding she bestowed upon Raikou before she died. On his 13th birthday she gave Raikou an eye patch on which she inscribed a summoning circle, but when he put it on the symbol transferred from the eyepatch to his eye. From then on he always wore an eyepatch in loving memory of his mother even though the mark on his eye is not always visible.


A few months after he began to exhibit the ability to generate and manipulate lightning and electricity. Though his was truly revolutionary his judged after teaching Raikou to control it that it was beyond natural or your everyday magically conjured lightning his lightning bore the rarest variant in the bloodline wielding only by the first of the Kaminari, esoteric lightning. So while his father continued to teach him combat he had to refine these new properties on his own.


When his father judged him ready which was after he learned how to use six swords at once. He sent Raikou off to True Cross Academy to learn more about being an exorcist.

General

Located on frosted territory, Sonokin Mountain, the village has bountiful natural resources. They collect their water from streams that cover the mountain, and they’ve focused on hunting more than anything; however, they’ve also established enough farms to last for generations. Even so, they limit themselves of these resources so they have enough in tough times. Currently, the population of their community is approximately one hundred and twenty people. Their territory is six square miles, so they have enough room to fit thousands. To protect themselves from outsiders, they’ve created a shield of sorts. This shield, which is upheld by the clan’s chief, doesn’t actual as a literal guard; instead, anyone who comes across the village without the Shīsurū eyes see a desolate community. As in, it seems to be a ghost town. Due to their isolation, the clan has no idea of the recent updates in technology and architectural style; therefore, they base themselves off of medieval ways. With that, they are stuck without electricity, proper medical techniques, updated clothing, electronic devices, and even plumbing.​

History

Centuries ago, the Hibiki Clan was a greatly celebrated group of people. The group practiced sonokinesis, a psychokinetic ability.. Anyone could gain the power, but only the Hibiki clan could tame it, make something of it. As another trait of their bloodline, they born with the ability to use the Shīsurū eyes; the name of the ability is taken from the Japanese words “shīsurū no”, “meaning see-through”. Both traits are described in further sections. Some members of the bloodline were able to master other abilities along with their own, such as hallucikinesis. Because of this, they were both envied and feared; their enemies often sent assassins to try to murder the clan off. However, on one occasion, they had sent an entire army. On that day, known as “The Sound Massacre”, ¾ the bloodline was slaughtered. To keep this event from ever happening again, they were forced to hide themselves from other civilizations. People had heard of their new location, and they had sent their soldiers to annihilate the group entirely. However, the Hibiki Clan seemed to be absent, and they continued to seem this way. In current times, there’s a legend that those who venture to the mountain will see the “ghosts” of the Hibiki Clan.

Traditions / Morals

The people are to encourage children to be harmed by a demon.

On a child’s fourteenth birthday, they are escorted towards the bottom of the mountain.

Their guide will then leave the said child, and the kid will have to try to get back up to the mountain. This is simply to test their survival skills and to see if they’re “worthy” of being apart of the bloodline; they’re also given a time limit of three weeks. If the child fails to make it up to the mountain in this amount of time, they’re considered a disgrace and will not be allowed back into the community.

The current chief is like a matchmaker of sorts; they have say in who marries who.

Of course, there will be no proper wedding; instead, the relationship is confirmed by the man giving the woman his pendant. This pendant was one worn by the man since birth; each and every pendant is different based upon their rank. To clarify whether a woman is single or not, they’ll also wear red ribbons in their hair- a symbol that they’re not taken by anyone yet.

Clan members are taught that lying is an insult to others.

They’re expected to be blunt at all times. Due to their training and the Shīsurū eyes, those in the community can easily pick up on false statements.

At the age of eight, children that aren’t born into a subfamily of high rank are sent to the other side of the mountain for training camps.

They’ll remain there for seven years.

Birthdays aren’t celebrated.

Only those who pass their general training are celebrated, but this is when they turn fifteen.

Subfamilies

There’s hundreds of subfamilies in the clan. Noble subfamilies often include commanders, scribes, and those known as hunters; casual subfamilies include every other type of citizen. Everyone in the community is well respected and highly treated; however, nobles just had more perks. A noble's luxuries include owning beds, having a choice of their child's career, and owning servants.

Discipline

To put it simply, the clan is overbearingly strict. In the event that an order is disobeyed, the culprit will be severely punished. Depending on the rule broken, the perpetrator may be publicly humiliated or will be abused in some form; even the simplest matter of defiance will be taken care of.

Training Camps

Like said before, children of eight years are forced into enhancing their abilities at encampment. Of course, this is only after four years of general education- where they learn basic subjects and their own history. Yet, these camps are said to be terribly strenuous; they live up to those rumors. The kin of the bloodline study battle strategies, memorize rituals, assimilate basic survival skills, extend their spiritual power, train in multiple forms of fighting, and learn to use their abilities to their highest extent. As any place would, there are failures and there are prodigies; because the lack of triumph is frowned upon, those who cannot achieve standard proficiency are banished. Those who show complete mastery continue their training as hunters- clan members who track and kill those who were exiled.

While she has a slender figure, Miki is mainly made out of muscle due to the combination of rationing and training. Her hair, which extends to the middle of her back, is usually kept straight, and she always has two ribbons tied to a few strands. In other cases, she’ll put it up in a side-ponytail or up in a bun. Her eyes are a steel blue, but the color is often mistaken as grey under the wrong lighting. Due to the furtherance of clothing design, the girl cannot wear her ancient clothes without receiving looks from others. She still wears her own clothes in public, but it’s more common to see her in her school uniform. However, on her journey to Tokyo, she adorned a grey cloak lined with brown fur. The cloak stopped at her ankles, never touching the ground as she continued on. She also brought along one pair of clothes; a picture is shown below. No matter where she’s going, Mikki has a pouch dedicated to carrying her kunais. Though, this pouch is located on her upper thigh and isn’t visible to most.​

On most occasions, Miki is a composed being. However, she can switch from being unperturbed to being exuberant in a matter of seconds when surrounded by modern objects. She becomes inquisitive, and she often comes off as meddlesome. The girl’s attention towards one thing can be taken swiftly by another. In other words, she seems absent-minded. Although, she tends to be aware towards every action around her; she credits her sonokinesis for helping her stay in this mindful way. Her vivacity seems limitless, and she becomes flustered easily. Her behavior can easily light a grin on another’s face. She’s extremely industrious; she refuses to give up, no matter the consequences. Though, she’s also terribly blunt. Her candidness, which was encouraged where she once lived, has scared some away; her candor is viewed as snide behavior. Yet, the girl is far from being ill-tempered. While one can irritate with one word alone, her attitude barely changes. When aggravated, her actions and words are rather rash. Her tone will generally change to be assertive, but her overall calm demeanor will not change. Her voice has never been raised before, and she plans to keep it that way. Beyond anything, Miki has a profound way of thinking; her speeches often show this. However, when face-to-face with her fears, her personality changes entirely. In these situations, she finds herself paralyzed in fear. Her energy seems to never show, and she is no longer enthusiastic about anything. As if dishonored, her head is usually hung in shame. She acts as if she were a puppet that never spoke; her self-assured trait is lost. In cases such as these, she finds running away as a better solution than standing for herself.​

As she was growing up, Miki was viewed as a threat. She was born into a subfamily of peasants; her parents didn’t have much to their name. It being a rule, everyone was expected to report any abnormalities; therefore, they reported the anomaly that was their daughter. The girl was put into the world with a natural gift of sonokinesis, something not even the chief’s children were born with. The ability of sonokinesis had never been given to someone; it was a power gained after specific rituals. Even after admitting to have no clue as to how she had surpassed such high standards, they were exiled and then murdered by the hunters. The chief was about to give the same death to the child; however, the birth of his own son, Erai, convinced him to do otherwise.

Taking her under his wing, he decided to hone her abilities instead of obliterating them. At their young age, both Erai and Miki excelled in their studies; the girl was always at the top of the class, and Erai openly admits that this always annoyed him. The girl, at the age of three, had already been attacked by a demon and was given the ability to see demons before him- something Erai had trouble accomplishing. As the years past, Miki mastered everything set in front of her- proving superior against the boy, Erai. At one point, the boy seemed to have been cracked by Miki. He penalized the girl without remorse; the boy would do anything just to see her in pain. In some cases, he would say that she broke a rule and would watch her be punished with pride; in other matters, he’d harm her himself. On multiple occasions, he’d go after her with a blade. Miki swore that, if he wasn’t stopped, Erai would’ve gouged her own eyes. Though, she couldn’t do much to stop him; no one believed any word she said of him. Soon enough, the girl was covered in gashes and bruises.

Of course, the girl was debased by the scars; she would do her best to hide the wounds due to the feeling of insecurity they gave her. Hiding the cuts, however, only encouraged Erai to find new places to mark her. Soon enough, the girl was covered in gashes and bruises. These beatings were meant to dispirit Miki, but they didn’t change her attitude towards training at all. In fact, it only made her eager to find a way to protect herself from Erai’s attacks. Everyday, like clockwork, she would work to perfect her abilities; after refining her skills, she was considered as ferocious as the chief himself. In short, her hard work paid off; yet, her accomplishments only led her to more harassment. To make matters worse, the chief had decided that Miki and Erai were to be were to be together in a conjugal way. Miki, who didn’t want to be closer to her aggressor, had wanted to refuse almost immediately. However, she knew that her complaints would only add more scars to her body. Believing it was her last resort, Miki ran away from the terror that she had grown to know.

As the chief was to send the Hunters after her, Erai stated that he would retrieve her on his own. Being treated like game, Miki hastened away from her predator. Eventually finding herself in a town unlike her own, Erai had met with a demon of sorts- Mephisto. He had asked what her rush was, and she simply replied by stating the fact that she was running. Having known who she was and where she was from, Mephisto told her of a safe haven- a cram school. After giving Miki directions and a key to the True Cross Academy cram school, the demon left to allow her troubles to continue. That’s how she found herself in the bustling cities of Tokyo, searching for her refuge.​

It’s known for only being tamed by the Hibiki Clan. This control can go as far as beacon emission, voice replication, sonic stimulation, sound nullification, sound amplification, and sonokinetic construct. However, the power comes with several weaknesses. Due to the fact that the entire clan can use this ability to their own extent, Miki cannot get away with using it on another person of her bloodline. Also, due to her sensitivity of sound, noises tend to be both distracting and a pain. Such sounds don’t threaten her life, but they change her overall efficacy. The power tends to work with a person their entire life, but using the ability’s full capacity is fatal.

Shīsurū Eyes

a trait passed down exclusively in the Hibiki Clan


Generally, it’s the ability to use sonokinesis to its highest extent. When awakened, it allows the user to see sound waves; it’s also what aided the clan in domesticating sonokinesis. It’s characterized by a sun-like blue and white iris connected to a blue pupil. The white bit of the iris will circle around the pupil when a high-powered sound wave is spotted. If used for too long, the ability could lead the user to intense physical strain, blindness, or death.

Like Mikki, the boy is rather slender- besides the muscle that created most of his weight. Erai has long, straight black hair; in front, his hair is kept stroked backwards. Few strands occasionally fall down into his eyes. Speaking of such, his eyes are narrow and golden in color. His shisuri eyes are different in comparison to his clan; they’re more slate blue than their bright shade. While he’d rather wear his traditional clothes, he’s seen casually wearing modern clothes. Wherever he is, there's a single eagle following as if it were a pet.​

There’s two sides to Erai’s personality: the one only the closest of people to him see and the one everyone else sees. Around a general crowd of people, the boy is quite the extrovert. His charming words commonly come off as flirtatious, and he’s well known for being mischievous. Often times, he seems as if he’s never paying attention; yet, his brain calculates everything around him. In this way, he’s always focused and into the now; it sometimes seems as if he has 360 vision. The boy is known to show-off, and he’ll carry his feelings to extreme. His other side, however, is entirely opposite. He’s oppressive, and his defense behavior ties in with this. It isn’t exactly the quality of being protective, but it’s rather the idea that he isn’t sharing what he believes to be his. His dominant mannerisms are intense in a way unlike any other. Truthfully, he’s a masochist- a sadist of sorts. To make it worse, the boy is unforgiving; he could hold a grudge until the day he dies. He’s, also, found a way to deceive others with Shīsurū Eyes.​

He hasn’t mastered this ability in the way Miki has. He can only go as far as to crack glass; in other words, his powers in this subject are like parlor tricks compared to Miki’s.

Hallucikinesis

Because he's the chief's son, he was allowed to practice this forbidden art. He's come close to mastering the ability, but he still has yet to do so.

Shīsurū Eyes

a trait passed down exclusively in the Hibiki Clan

His eyes are different compared to the regular Shīsurū eyes. His eyes are a sharp red-yellow unlike the common blue. With this trait, he happens to be able to be twice as perceptive as his clanmates’. His general aim is also advanced with this feature. He can see through tricks without effort, and he’s able to pick up lies quickly.

She also has a vast knowledge of many creatures, including mythical animals that are said to exist only in fairy tale or Folklore. She also has vast experience in Medicine, and knows many herbs and medicines and what to combine them with. His main choice is Honey, for it sweetens the healing process. When she does a special move where she bats her Kinsect at a monster, the kinsect gathers four essences at once, and the colors on the bug will flicker from red, orange, white, and green. This will provide Full Power state (Red, Orange, and White combined) and healing up to about 30% percent vitality (Green essence).

Growing up in crowded city, she began seeing demons and spirits before she could even speak, but her parents always assured her that they were only imaginary. It got bad enough that as she got older she began thinking she was going insane. Finally after her mother committed suicide her father explained everything to her. Haru all but begged to learn more about exorcists, but her father became overprotective and paranoid. A few weeks before her 16th birthday she managed to gain a scholarship to True Cross Academy under the fake identity of a boy named Haru Sato.

Description : Being naturally small and flat-chested it was very easy to pass off as a male, but still he makes sure to dress in baggier clothes just in case.


Personality : Nearly everything he does has a meaning behind it, and his pragmatic yet sarcastic attitude makes his intelligence clear. His lies are careful and frequent, as even when he was a child he was constantly lying to make his parents happy. Despite his cold demeanor, he becomes easily flustered from even the smallest compliments or touches, as affection was uncommon in his childhood.
