Roles

Leaders - They lead the group, making the super hard decisions and making sure that things stay in line with the others of the base.

Runners - They are in charge of getting supplies, usually fast on their feet and alert.

Scouts - They keep track of the layout of things, mapping out the changes in paths and the possible increase or decrease of zombies in certain areas.

Medics - They make sure their base is in top shape, letting runners know what they may need more of. Sometimes they will go out with Fighters to get herbs and meds themselves to help take the burden off the runners.

Watchers - They are the ones who rarely need sleep they keep a close eye out on the area around the base and take note to fix any possible weak points meant to keep the base safe.

History: Kelly was put through the wringer even before all the chaos broke out across the world. Having lost her first mate when a hunter shot her husband on accident. She has to fend for herself and raise their child to the best of her ability. Thankfully she remembered the SilverWind Pack having offered her and her mate a place to live comfortably. So she tracked them down as asked to join them. They stayed with the SilverWind Pack for almost a year before Kelly started seeing a woman named Helen. Even though she was human, Kelly just couldn't help but fall for the woman's charms. She reminded her so much of her husband... She decided to leave the SilverWind Pack to move in with Helen as it seemed that her daughter and Helen got along. She didn't know that Helen would actually hurt Sheena when they were alone. And then one day Kelly came home to find both Helen and her daughter gone! The place was wrecked as if there had been a fight and in the city, there were too many human scents that covered up her precious daughter's scent. Matters only got worse when she safe news about werewolves having been exposed... It put a halt to her hunting for her daughter because humans became paranoid about each other and started using silver to test and see who all was a werewolf and who was a human. To this day she is still hoping to find her daughter even if amongst the zombies...at least then she will have piece of mind.

History: Sheena was sad when her father was killed by a hunter. She and her mother loved him very much. Her mother was sad, which made her sad, but her mom was also strong and knew she needed to pick herself up to be there for Sheena. Sheena was happy to see her mother normal once again and then her mom started seeing a human and Sheena didn't know how to feel about it since humans had killed her father. However, her mother seemed so happy so she sealed with it. When her mother introduced her to the woman she played nice. But once they left the SilverWind Pack to move in with the woman, Sheena came to understand that she was hated by that woman whom her mother loved so much. And that woman kidnapped her with plans to use her as an experiment for the cure to what was killing humans. In pain and sick Sheena lost control of her will to stay human and accidentally shifted to try and get rid of some of her pain. Helen was so excited to find out she had a werewolf at her disposal. And was quick to send Sheena into a whole other world of pain.

  One late night, the caretakers at an orphanage heard the sound of a baby crying. Once they identified that the sound was not coming from any of the young children within the building, they rushed outside. There, resting swaddled in a pink blanket inside of a basket, was a baby girl. The women were not able to find a note anywhere on the child and so they brought her inside, with no name and no family to claim her as their own. They named her Luna and she lived at the orphanage for thirteen years before the world starting falling apart.
  
  She was frightened when her classmates starting getting sick one by one, terrified that it would be her turn next. Then a shocking revalation took the world by storm: werewolves were discovered to exist. The world fell into chaos as neightbor turned on neighbor in a witch-hunt, desperate to root out all of the werewolves.
  
  At the age of sixteen, Luna and another boy she was clsoe to at the orphanage ran away as the war between humans and werewolves reaching heated levels. They surprised on their own for a while, but then a new monster entered the playing field from the labs that had desperately been working on a cure. Luna and her friend were cautious but even with all of their planning, they were still caught by surprise. They were both bitten and could only fearfully wait for their fate.

  But Luna didn't and with tears streaming down her face, she was forced to kill her friend in order to protect herself. She kept moving after, carefully keeping the bite mark hidden underneath her clothes, uncertain what it mean't but afraid all the same of someone finding out. History: During the chaos between humans and werewolves, Alexander had been fighting to keep humans from falling, sure using silver against the werewolves worked. But there seemed to be far more than anyone could have imagined! Not that he was really a fan of having to kill them, but he had a family to protect! It wasn't that he was a warrior, simply the fact that he had to make sure his family was safe and provided for! During one of the battles he lost his wife and that put things in a different light. If he died...his son would be alone and sure there are high chances a 18-year-old would have survived, but was he willing the risk it? No, he certainly wasn't, he changed tactics and took over a building that was still in somewhat good condition. He chased out the people working there, with none other than a ploy. Claiming werewolves were planning to attack this building as one of the few good-standing buildings. It worked like a charm, once he made sure things were adequately secured with his son's help he began taking people in. Offering a home, a group, a place safe from attacks, and boy did people flock to join when the zombies broke out. Of course, there have been some troublemakers, but he has dealt with them when needed. And as time had gone by those within the base soon became like family to him, and that meant he would do anything and everything to keep his family safe!

History: Henry's father was always pushing him to be a fighter, even before humans knew about them. His father hated the humans and that was one of the reasons they lived out in the middle of the woods. It was easier to attack humans that ventured in. He has had to kill lots of people but when his father met his match he was free at last. He left the woods, quick to find a place with the money he had been saving up behind his father's back. He moved into a city, got a single apartment, started attending school, and got a job. Was living a normal life for once before the world went mad. Then he didn't dare step out of his apartment living there for as long as he could. Avoiding werewolves and humans alike and so far he has been doing a pretty good job at it.

History: Before the world even knew werewolves existed she had already been found by a human and that human had kept her locked in a cage! The woman was murdered and she would kill her victims in front of Amy sometimes she would even force Amy to kill the people. But what made matters worse was the fact that her captor never fed her...not unless a body needed to be disposed of. Amy had tried to not eat the people that her captor killed but in order to survive her wolf would take over in a sense and before she knew it she had eaten them. Her captor always made sure she was never strong enough to get away though. When zombies appeared it was the break she needed to have, with her having been working to save up her strength and it was perfect. She watched the zombies kill her captor and even though they tried getting to her they couldn't reach her through the cage and eventually, something else caught their attention. She used it to get out of the cage and run after grabbing weapons, even with her saved strength she wouldn't be able to fight off a horde of those things so running was her best choice. She collapsed somewhere near the werewolf base and when she woke up she was in the base being tended to. Scared and shocked she panicked and her wolf went into attack mode, and she hurt someone before coming to her senses. The person had been a runner and so to atone for that she has become a runner for them. But sometimes her mental state isn't the best so she tries to sleep away from the rest of the group.

  When Jack was young he lost his parents, some disease took their life with them being without a pack Jack had to make ends meet in any way he was able to. Some pickpocketing, some hunting, thankfully around the times when he was a teenager a certain group picked him up and decided to raise him, it was the Grimshade pack. A group of bikers who travelled America living their life free and off the land, most of them were werewolves, sure some of them were human but those were the mates of the other members, so he knew he could trust them. Living with them was an unusual experience, to say the least, they often got in trouble but they were able to get out of it. Most of the members were outcasts from their former packs or just plain old loners, who decided to create their pack and support those in the same situation.
  
  His parent figures in the pack were the two alphas, the werewolf mechanic named Bob, and his mate a human woman named Mary. The funny thing is that Mary most of the time could overpower Bob, which was weird to Jack, but looking back at it, Mary had every right to do it, Bob was unathletic and sporting a large beer belly, while Mary herself was like chiselled out of stone muscle visible everywhere. She used to serve in the military before dropping out and becoming a travelling preaching woman who just so happened to get married to Bob during one of the bike escapades.
  
  As time passed Jack became an adult and wanted to settle down, while the rest of the pack decided to still travel, he of course kept contact with them joining them every once in a while they were around. It took some trial and error but with a lot of effort, Jack became a clergyman in Missoula Montana, a town away from where he used to live when he was just a pup.
  
  At first, the people weren’t all that welcoming of such a kind of unorthodox priest, the elderly certainly disliked him while the younger folk were more open-minded to such a priest. The toughest time for him was around 2025 when that new disease rolled up, so many sick people and many more people came to pray for them as well as seek guidance from him. His heart was breaking at the seams of the situation, and all he could do was pray for them and help with the menial tasks.
  
  2028 the year when all went to hell, the existence of werewolves was found out by the general public, and those undead began to roam the streets, weirdly enough for his luck no one suspected him of being a werewolf and didn't bother testing him probably because of the “Silver” cross he was carrying on his neck while it was made of Nickel Silver so it didn’t contain any real silver at all.
  
  Things began to look tough for a single person so he ventured from his place around Messiah Lutheran Church, in the upper rattlesnake, and looked around while avoiding the zombies as much as possible to conserve as much ammo and energy as he could, finally he stumbled upon a nearby settlement of survivors, honestly it was quite hidden, but that does not mean a werewolf could not find it, although he was surprised learning it was a base for fellow werewolves.
  
  After spending some time at the base trying to figure out what to make of himself there he decided to join up with the scouts, after all leading people was not his thing they did not need a priest they needed a true leader, and he wasn’t a material for one, so he took up scouting.

Before any virus's Charlotte used to not be able to stand being in groups let alone a pack so she was never in one. During the year 2026 at 18 she leaves home which ends up with her seperated from her parents. During 2028 as 6 werewolfs get kidnapped and war soon breaks out she learns a deep hatred for humans with the creation of zombies into 2029 she was a loner for a while. Sticking within what she considered to be 'werewolf territory' she eventually bumps into another person. At first she thought he was a werewolf at first up until they actually meet and she was about to gun him for being a human up until she noticed him not really fighting back and trying to get away from her. Eventually her and the boy talk about things and she learns his name is 'Koi' all though still not liking humans very much they stick together for about a week. And her opinions start changing once she noticed he didn't particularly care she was a wolf and that survival was more important then species. Eventually after a week of traveling together they seperated and she decided to give being with the werewolf group a shot. Now a watcher she keeps a eye out on things with the base. Who will keeping a eye for weak points also keeps a eye out for survivors.

History: Despite her angelic appearance, her entire being is a weapon in some manner or form. From a young age, she was taught by her parents how to defend herself due to her mother running a company with very important data. As their only child, she was a target of petty thieves hoping to get their hands on her mom's company information through her for money or other vile reasons. After she was kidnapped at the age of 4, thanks to trusting the wrong person to watch over her while her parents worked they instantly knew that had to start training her. It was tough on her, and at first, she didn't understand, but as time went by it all made sense. She grew even stronger and became known as the Deadly Angel by those who knew her well. Lucielle was often protected by her parents and older sister, they had a wonderful family bond. She even learned a few things about protecting herself. However, when the virus swept through the world her mother who had a weaker immune system fell. It shattered them all, and then war spread and her father was told to fight for the humans for be cast aside. It left her and her older sister alone most of the time before they got the news that their father had fallen. It left the two sisters alone and try as Lucille might she still wasn't as good at protecting herself as her older sister. Things only got worse as zombies spread, but her sister had heard of a place, where they'd be safe at and that the two of them could still help out others and survive. They had almost made it to the human base, but her older sister in a fight with multiple zombies got bit! She still fought the zombies off, keeping lucielle safe, and soon others from the human base arrived, getting ready to take them both in, but her older sister simply smiled in tears, asking them to keep Lucielle safe. She showed them the bite marks before ending her own life...to keep them all safe.

  Nick is often seen as easy to anger and rough, but he's actually a big softy once you get to know him. Don't say that to his face though, he'll only get more angry. When he is angry though, it's best to just let him cool off until he's calm again, unless you know how to speak to him.

  • When the disease breaks out in '25, Nick is living in Portland, OR as a security guard at a hospital.
  • His sister, a well respected doctor, gets a job at a clinic in Missoula, MA working on a cure. His parents beg him to come out to live with them in Missoula where it's "safer".
  • At the beginning of '27, he caves and moves out to live with his parents and sister, getting a job at the hospital there despite his sister asking if he'll work security at the clinic she works at. This causes some tension between them.

  • In '28, when werewolves are found out, Nick finds out that his sister was one of those who experimented upon them in a search for a cure. His parents are on her side, and he moves out, looking for ways to help the werewolves now locked in a fight for their lives.
  • Almost halfway through '28, their parents are caught in the middle of a fight with some other humans and werewolves, and were a casualty, ironically killed by the humans in the crossfire. The rift between brother and sister deepens when he still takes the werewolves side in this accident.
  • At the end of '28 when the zombies are created, Nick is unable to leave his sister defenseless. He joins her, protecting her and helping to form the Human base.

  • Current day, Nick is a Fighter for the Human Base since his sister dislikes the idea of him going on runs. This doesn't stop him from heading out with the Runners whenever the chance comes up though. There's still a bit of tension between them because of their past choices, and the bandage they've put on the wounds of their relationship curls at the edges.

Before what would seem like the end of the world, Michael had spent most of his life focused on one thing, fighting. Once he was old enough to throw a punch his father had him in the gym boxing. When he wasn't boxing, he was training. He didn't mind, Michael had a hard time making friends in school. At the age of three when he hadn't said his first word his Father new something was off. The doctors could never explain why Michael didn't speak. Foreseeing his son having a hard time fitting, he started Michael's boxing training two years after. He continued this even after his fathers death from cancer. Finding his place amongst the other survivors was not easy. He was built for fighting, but not being able to communicate with others moved him to the watchers position. Michael strives in his new role, his father never allowed him to ask for help meaning he had to learn to fix most things. While he isn't the greatest handyman, he has enough skills to fortify most weak points on base as well as fix the mundane day to day items that may break.

There isn't much to say about this silent giant. He's reserved, a man of little words, and gives of an intimidating Aura. Most folks have learned to stay out of his way. He isn't keen on making friends and enjoys his solitude. Bones would be better suited as a loner. He is very territorial and not a fan of sharing, but he has grown to care for his packs safety. Bones has always been more wolf than man, he never spent much time in human form, and hasn't adapted to a human way of life. This can make him come off quite brutish and he has a hard time understanding jokes and sarcasm. He has a soft spot for female wolves, choosing to back down rather than be his usual snappy self.
