How did things end up like this.
~Because your Ancestors let the world destroy them.~
That doesn't mean things should've ended up this bad.
~It's only Hell. The above ground version.~

As Saito began to look around, he understood. The world was the above ground version of Hell now. Compared to the stories of old he had heard of while growing up, this was an extreme disappointment. Nothing could diminish the thoughts he was having of the world in front of him. As he held the black hilt of his blade, the white tint off of the tip of it glowing off of the sun, he finally realized that this is not the life he wanted. Doubting this was what any of the remaining Families wanted. Their lands were scorched, enemies rid the world of what was alive. And now there was nothing but chaos as far as the eye could see.

~Saito, I hope you understand that if you use what the Gods have granted you, there could be a shift in this world. There could be a difference that no one else has been able to apply since the Demons had first arrived. It may take a long time, but it is indeed possible my friend.~

While his sword had talked to him, his eyes viewed the scene in front of him. What was alive was dead. What was beautiful was ugly. What was peace has become infinite war. Sliding his sword back into his sheathe, his mind wandered. Then he had came up with his decision.

If it takes as long as you believe. Then let us reach out to the remaining Families, and to request their strongest Members strength. Let us reek havoc back across the lands, destroy their people, their warriors, their Families. And if it takes Forever, then let there be Blood Forever.
