Blood and Water (♠ Blue Suit ♠)

(Yeah, I agree *^* Lol I don't think I've ever tried doing so. I've tried to sing some Queen songs even Evanescence, I'm not good at reaching that sort 'high pitched' tones - Not sure if they're called that - So it's funny xP Bet you had lots fun with that song xD )

Mia couldn't help it but give him a sort of apologetic smile. She couldn't really help herself, it frustrated her not being able to move on her own "I'm alright. My legs are just a bit sore but they didn't receive much damage. Besides, I'm sort of taking it easy as you suggested, moving slowly and such. Thanks for asking though" She actually really appreciated it.

((I did lol but after a while all that yelling to get to the proper notes and such starts to hurt xD and I had to redo it like twenty times because I didn't like how one tiny part sounded))

Tome nodded a little bit didn't quite like it. He shook his head and led her into the living room, pulling a seat up close for her and setting up the board on a footstool between her and Fawn. He sat on the ground next to it so he could reach everything, and started taking out the little pieces. "Have you played before?"

(Sorry! >< Had to cook dinner for my sister, she's sick :/ )

Mia sat down and smiled at Fawn "Good Morning" She said before she eyed the game curiously. She... "Have you played before?" Tome's own words finished the sentence she was beginning to form on her head. She blinked and turned to him, shaking her head "No, not this one"

Fawn smiled pleasantly and leaned over enough to wave a hand at her piece, trying to get it. Tome shook his head at her and just put it in her hand, and she nodded in thanks. "It's fun! I'll teach you how to play, and then we can beat Tome together."

He frowned. "Hey. When did this become about ganging up on me?"

Fawn just smiled. "Since you won last time. I have to redeem myself. . . With help."

Mia leaned her chin softly on top of the palm of her hand, a small smile portrayed on her face "Sounds like a plan" She said with a nod.

(Sorry if it is rather short >_<)

((Yeah, I really had no idea what to do after that either, as I don't want to make up a game xD Should we think of something to skip to?))

((I dunno :( I'm kinda out of ideas, but we haven't gotten them any closer yet, really. . . Darn it! I hate when this happens -_- ))

(Lol don't worry. Hm Should we come up with a situation for them to get closer? Because he really doesn't seem to like her. He just has her there because of Fawn. And well, she doesn't really like him either. As if, she is grateful and all but doesn't hold what you would call 'special feelings'.)

((Well he was starting to like her, but then we made her go all betray-y because we thought hurt/comfort might come into play, but now it's all just spiraled into "I tolerate you" from both sides -_- Hmm. . . . . What if he gets injured somehow and needs help taking care of Fawn? Then he might like her more? But then he'd just get all frustrated and angsty. . . God dang it, Tome! >_< Why are you so difficult!))

( xD You made me laugh with that last part. Well I'd say for us to create an extreme situation that'd force them to work together and that would eventually bring them closer. Clearly, what affects Tome the most is Fawn, maybe something that concerns her? What would you think it should be? I'm just being random here, but maybe they get somehow in a situation where they are separated from her and they must find her. That would also give them the chance of spending time together without having Tome go and check on Fawn and be with her and such. Kidnapping maybe? Hmm it's the thing I can come up with now ><)

((Hmmm. I hesitate to do anything like that because Fawn's so sick and could just die at the drop of a hat if kidnapped :P But we could just skip a month or so and say she's getting a lot better, and then she gets stolen from her room by some shadow-y monster thing, and Mia knows someone who knows what it is so they have to go on some trip to find it and save Fawn?

Is it evil that some little tiny part of was thinking that if Fawn dies he'd have to go to Mia for comfort? ;- ;) )

(True. Haha shadowy creature. Then again they would be forced to be together. But now that I think about it what would the King do? Would he leave Tome alone if he found out Fawn was taken away? Or would they keep that from him?)

(No, it's not. Between you and me I though kind of the same >.< He would be left alone and Mia would be there for him. But I didn't want it to sound "Let's kill Fawn :D ". It's 'your' character after all and kind of felt bad by saying that XS)

((They would probably keep it from him and just go on their adventure alone, without Kingly support. It would make more sense that way, since Tome doesn't like the King anyway and wouldn't have time to think about telling him anyway

((Oh my god my brain was thinking pretty much those exact same words xD And with that same innocent but creepy-in-context smiley face! . . . Should we? I dunno. It would be so sad ;-; And what if it doesn't actually end up driving the plot? :( But part of me wants to kind of do it anyway - dear god, the conflict! D:))

(Yeah, if not I doubt it the King would leave him alone. So like they go in their adventure and such. Just the two of them)

(I don't know DX I'm having mixed feelings about this. How would Tome even react? Would he really turn to Mia for comfort? Because maybe we would be like "You don't understand anything about me!" Like before and won't even let her comfort him. They would need to get closer before, as if they go on the trip first that brings them closer but Fawn ends up dying at the end and... Lord! I don't really know xS Wouldn't had really though it would be so conflictive O-o)

((He'd be all angry and 'leave me alone'-ish at first, but if she persisted he'd cave and bawl like a baby. 'Cause feels. Ooooo, what if they go on their adventure, she dies when they find her, and when Tome has to tell the King the King does nothing and just lets him leave, 'cause he knows hurting Tome would just distract him from how much Fawn's death hurts him? And then he really would be all alone and lost, because she was basically his whole life, so he'd need Mia's help starting over somewhere? Oh the feels D: I'm getting all teary-eyed just thinking about it))

(That would be so... Sad o()o I understand how you feel. But then it would be like he has got like nothing left and Mia stays with him despite everything. Despite him not wanting her at first and all. Darn... What do you say? Should we go with it?)

(Dear Lord, it actually really feels as if we are deciding to take a life O-O But then again, you're right v.v This is kind of slowly dying. So, should we have them going on the trip and such? That would at least add a bit of adventure to the Rp)

((Sounds like a plan. But at this moment, it is very late and the only thing I plan to do is sleep -_- So I'll try and skip to her getting taken by the monster tomorrow. Night!))

((P.S. - It feels like premeditated murder O-0))

(Lol, Night ^^ Sleep well!) (I was practically thinking the same thing! Well mainly because lately I've been watching this show "The Mentalist" And is all about murders and such)

((Ooo, Mentalist :3 I watched a season or so of that, but then we had to reduce the amount of shows we watched because we were going down to one DVR instead of two, and that didn't make the cut. . . And now I don't have cable at all lol it's probably on Netflix))

Time passed slowly, but at the same time it seemed to go by all at once. Fawn was getting better. Miraculously, she didn't have a relapse for weeks at a time. After a month, she was walking around on her own, looking stronger and even gaining a little weight, and even though she couldnt swim Tome had even been able to take her to the lake and pull her around, let her stay outside for extended periods of time. Even he and Mia were beginning to get along. Things were looking up, higher than the clouds and the stars, and she was better, for once in her life.

But then, it is when things are at their highest that they begin to fall back down, isn't it?

It happened at night, when Tome had said goodnight to Mia and was checking on Fawn one last time. He pushed open this door to her room and just felt . . . off. Like something wasnt right. He didn't even see it until he stepped inside. His sister was not in her bed. She was in the far corner of the room, suspended on the hand - foot - limb - of a mass of inky black he couldn't even begin to describe, not asleep but unconscious, and it was beginning to draw back, cover over her and disappear.

"FAWN!"

(Probably, but no member on my family trusts those sites enough to pay online, though I would sometimes just love to have it. My sister and I are downloading it with torrent)

Mia was peacefully resting on her bed when she heard a yell, something that made her feel a cold chill running down her spine. It was not the yell itself, but the name which had been practically bellowed what made her freeze for a split of second. She jumped out of bed, stumbling on her rushed way to the door. Even if she didn't want to, she thought of the worst-case scenario, she couldn't be... Oh, lord, but she had been so well lately! Mia seriously thought, she thought... She shook her head furiously. She flung her door open and rushed to Fawn's opened room's door, just in time to catch a glimpse of a pitch black creature - which seemed to be vanishing - but nothing else.

(Just to be sure. It is supposed for Mia to know someone that know what it that thing, right?)

Tome was running before Mia made it to the doorway, almost before he'd even fully stopped and taken in what was happening. How could he take in something like that in such a short time? He made a mad dash for the other side of the room, reaching for the tiny form disappearing into the shadows without thought of a weapon or any other means of defense. He was too late. Something - some invisible force or just something he couldn't see - shoved him back hard enough to topple him with his own speed, and by the time he rolled quickly back to his feet and made a leap for the shadow, it was already almost gone. He hit the wall hard with a shoulder and stood there, eyes wide and face pale, and slapped a hand desperately to the wall like he could reach through it. He shoved away and ran for the window, shoved it open and leaned out almost far enough to fall but there was nothing on the other side. It was just . . . gone. And Fawn along with it.

((Yep. Maybe she heard rumors/legends/something else and she knows where they can find answers. Btw, I leave for work in about 45))

Mia felt herself mute for a couple of seconds. The mere sight of Tome was enough to keep her like that. Somehow, she couldn't bring herself to believe it and she forced her sight to Fawn's bed. She hoped to see her there, god she couldn't hope for anything else at the moment, but she wasn't and Mia felt something inside her shrinking. She wrapped her arms around herself automatically, her body leaning against the door's frame. How can she just disappear like that? In that strange pitch black mist? I mean, people don't just vanish in the darkne... Mia blinked her lips quivering before they parted "I've heard of that thing" She thought out loud, wide eyed.

(Sorry 'bout that, had to go and pick up my dad at the airport, which happens to be a trip of 2 hours by car just to get there .-.)
