The Dragon Reborn
(I have only seen up to the 30th episode, and I am still watching the series, but I believe I have seen enough to make a good story here. Sorry for any gaps in knowledge.)
The soulreapers now gather to reelect their captains and lieutenants. This is a momentous occasion, and Soulreapers from everywhere in the Seireitei are all gathering. Only the strongest will be chosen to lead. The soulreaper population has stayed relatively the same since it was last seen, and 13 captains will be selected to lead the separate branches of the society.
The quincy society has been thought to be dead for two hundred years, but now signs are beginning to show that the quincies are rising up again. More and more of these skilled archers are appearing on the battlefronts against Hollows, and small confrontations have been recorded between the quincies and the soulreapers. Unfortunately, the quincy interaction is becoming more and more necessary, due to massive increases in the amount of Hollows that are being spotted.
Some Hollow appearances are completely random, but more and more attacks appear to be planned out. Systematic strikes against soulreaper patrols. Something sinister is guiding the Hollows closer and closer to the heart of Soul Society, and now Hollows are becoming bold. They are spotted near the walls of the lower rings, but none come any closer than that. Almost no solid proof of anything can be gathered from the Hollow sightings, but one thing is becoming more and more easy to determine.... something is behind the Hollow activity. Something sinister.
