“They have better things to do than look for a single kid whose been missing for a year. The police said that they told them. And Umi says I shouldn’t bother them too much.” When Dartah mentioned the spirit world Sera looked directly at him. There was a flicker of change in the girl’s eyes before she spoke.


“Benji, know’s the spirit world is dangerous, he wouldn’t. He’s an airbender… he wouldn’t…”There was suddenly doubt in her voice.

"People do things for reasons others might find silly or trivial..I entered the spirit world.. I'd like to think I knew better.. But at the time I didn't.. I'd ask the nomads, they help whoever whenever, I'm sure they'd help if possible" Dartah smiled, "I should know I was almost a air acolyte"

“ I hope he’s okay… I’m worried…” Sera said. “ The spirits are kind, but I don’t think that they could even help at this point…” The girl giggled a bit when Dartah said he was almost an air acolyte.


“My Grandfather is an airbender. “ Sera said. “ He always says how funny it is that the world became so connected so quickly.”

"Considering I can travel from north to South Pole in a matter of minutes, yea the world connected quickly" Dartah smiled,


He noticed a flying bison go toward air temple island, "wanna lift over there? I'm gonna go say hey.. You could ask for some guidance or help?"

“Sorry, I can’t… I still have packages to deliver and I have to look for someone else and then head back up to one of Republic city’s police stations and hope they don’t try to interrogate me again…” The girl said sheepishly.

"Ok you can't leave on that... What are you delivering and why would the police interrogate you?"


Dartah forgot about the island, was this girl in the triads? Was she transporting illegal things? Or payments? Could I get a job? Was it well paying?

“I work for the Republic City post.” She said, innocently. “That’s why I’m here on the docks right now to begin with, to pick up express packages and deliver parts from downtown. Ah, well the police interrogate me every time I go down there to see if they have anything new on my friend. Because we, I don’t live in the best part of town.”

"Ahk.. I shouldn't take your time.. Sorry I couldn't help you" Dartah bowed respectfully. Poor girl must live alone.. Working for the city..


"I wish you luck and peace in your journeys" Dartah smiled all friendly like.

“Do you have any specific place you need to go?” She asked. “ I could probably show you where it is on my way to finish dropping off these boxes.” She gave him a smile.

"I came because I hoped to find a old friend.. but The specific place I'm going is a restaurant I wanted to eat at again.. I know my way around..." Dartah thought of how much coin he had left.. Not a lot..


" but maybe you know of a part time job I could apply for? Before I wind up running security for crooks aha"


My original plan... But kaias dad is chief of police..

“There are a few places that I think have openings, but I’d have to ask. I’m assuming you’d like to stay in Republic city so working on my friend’s cargo ship is out of the question huh? Uh, maybe the post office is hiring sorting people…Is there anything specific you were looking for? I mean I can ask if there is a security position in the Triad if that’s what you really want…” The girl said not quiet understanding the situation that put her in.

"Anything to do with waterbending is a good fit, but yea ill be in the city for a bit"


Triads do pay well... And what's the chance big bad mako himself would be patrolling...


Dartah glanced at nogo enjoying the attention kaia gave her,


He looked at the post girl, "what's your name by the way? I'm Dartah"

“That’s something really specific and I would have to ask around about people needing waterbenders. But the Triads are always looking for benders…” The girl gave a little pause before shrugging.


“My Name is Sera, It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She held out her hand.

Dartah shook her hand with a smile, "no need For me to go looking for trouble though sera," he leaned in a tad closer to speak in more hushed tones, "that girls over there, her father is chief of police I'm pretty sure"


He lent out quickly


"Aha yea had nogo since I was young ha ha" his impeccable skill of making things seem natural,


Was probably not needed.


"Maybe I'll see you around the bad part of town" he jested with a grin.

Sera looked at him confused. She tilted her head slightly.


“There really aren’t many bad part of towns. Not like in the earth empire…And I don’t understand what Nogo had to do with this conversation…I’m sorry…?”

Dartah Almost facepalmed but held back, "nothing, I'm just wondering if I'm gonna camp or find a place nogo can fit inside" he muttered a bit.


Nogo was hungry and wasn't waiting longer, she stood and ran toward the smell.


"No no no no no! Nogo sit!" Dart shouted as he ran.


"Dammit nogo!!" could be heard as Dartah ran after her,


"geez dang snow savages, get a automobile why dontcha" a old man standing next to a stall of cabbages that almost got knocked over by nogo, and somehow Dartah.

((hey guys sorry for not responding for such a long time I was really busy and forgot about this rp entirely... again...))


Kaia watched the interaction go down between the two before her. She stayed quiet. Then Nogo tried to run away and Kaia couldn't help but surpress a laugh. She laughed, and she laughed hard, to the point she fell on the floor in laughter. "Sorry *laugh* Dartah..." She said as she gasped for breath.

Nogo ran faster then Dartah, that was just fact.


But still he tried.. Deep breaths...


Dartah apologised to people nogo knocked over, he stopped to help a elderly man stand up again. "Please forgive me"


"Nogo!!" Nogo had stopped near avatar Korra park, eating cooked meat off a stall.


"This your dog?" The lady called out.


Dammit.


"Yea... That's my dog" said a defeated Dartah..


He shall be paying off this woman for weeks.

“Shouldn’t we help him?” Sera asked begin left with this other girl. “ Ah!” She retrieved the missing flyer from her bag once again. “ Have you seen this boy?” The photo was still the same, a young boy only about 14, dark skin with a large splotch scar up the right side of his face only to be covered by dark curly, messy hair.

After around seven minutes of arguing and apologising Dartah had made a new friend,


"And the price I have to pay in bulk for the poultry?!" Ju dee almost shrieked, a older lady, late thirties or early forties,


"I know I know it's crazy" dart poured ju-dee a refill of saki for himself and for her.


"It's like me and nogo, I have to hunt twice as long to feed her and me, I'm afraid I'll turn to just skin and bone"


"You already look burnt" Ju dee giggled, tipsy of the saki.


"Aha whooaaaa watch out miss, that razor sharp wit of yours could puncture a metal war cruiser leaving hundreds to drown at sea"


"HAH your a card nucktuck" ju dee laughed, "it's a shame your dog ate my whole day's supply"


"I'll pay you back.. And this drink to, I'll work it off or something"


"You better clear out" Ju stated in worry as she noticed some less then respectable men strutted toward the stand.


"They giving you trouble Ju?" Dart asked standing.


"There the triads! Don't start anything it's fine"


"If they give you trouble it's not fine," dart muttered.
