Awesome. Looking forward to delving into the intrigued of my hidden vampiric nobility. Planning my first post to begin a series of unfortunate events that may reveal this secret to the world. or it may solidify the secret for more years to come. and of course expanding Zapadra's connections and influence throughout the northern region will be paramount.

Anyone else have any early plans for their polity?

I was hoping for some early battles to start my polity off. Probably not with PCs, but with environment/NPCs. I start off at war with neighbors based on how I set up my polity's story

oh cool idea for an early start. some action is always a great way to kick things off!

Will be cool to see some of those units you developed in action.

So far I got

>1495, an Italian Wars esque conflict when Duke Urbino III of Padua dies, the broker of a Peace Treaty between the Apostolic Empire (basically the hRE Germanic regions), Not! French (Seinor and french-esque areas), Not!Spain (that will be played by Hyra), and possibly others, and with no heir but relatives in the neighboring Flourense Republic and also first cousin to the powerful Duke of Rastadt (who in turn is second cousins with the current Emperor in Reinhof).

This sparks a conflict that draws in Flourense ally of Seinor while to curb Seinan ambitions the monarchy of Not!Spain also gets involved. Especially, in who will control the Narrows, Straits, and the Tourmaline Sea which is contested between both realms and the vital trade to the Port cities of the Southlands like Makran, Damascene, Al-Aqaba, Alakeir, Abu Dhulban, Oraq, Mus'kkat, and Tangare.

While, for further intrigue (and since we don't yet have a Not!France player), the King of Seinor, Henry IV L'Affable of the House of Vellecore, has made Royal ambitions quite clear since taking the throne in 1483. His formal annexation of the Duchy of Gadascon into the Kingdom proper in 1484 solidified Gadasc and brought direct Seinan power to the border regions East of the Not!Spain city of Coruna. While in 1485 the young King managed to score a victory over imperial apostolic forces and settle the low intensity Aquis war (1473-1485) with the city and much of the Northrendish Plain in Seinan hands in the Treaty of Aquis (1485). This was followed by Seinan Admiral Gaspard d'Croy accepting the subjugation of Orran by storming the Barbary Sultan's fortress in the Winter of 1485. The Guerre de Roi, the informal conflict of power in Seinor between the powerful southern duchies of Caracassone, Beauclair, Perpegnan, and Del Or, long in the Dukes favor, swung abruptly into the hands of the Royalists when Henry IV inherited the Duchy of Touraine from his maternal uncle the late Duke Ertholomuis II. Who surprisingly in his will excluded his adoptive god-son Gerard of Del Or. The powerful duchy being added to the Royal portfolio and his recent victories cemented Henry IVs popularity among the Knightly class who had won much wealth in ransoms.

In 1486 and 1487 Henry IV campaigned on behalf of the Emir of Dajer against remnant barbary corsairs in return for fealty and annual tribute. This, brought red flags to the courts of Not!Spain as control of the vital water ways there would allow incredible wealth to flow directly into Henry IVs hands. Further, emboldened by these events, Henry IV in 1488 signed a pact with the Not!Italian state of Flourense against their rivals Padu and Caprene in the Valley of Flourense War (which had been going on since 1486). Invading from the West the Seinan's defeated the Caprenan army in the spring of 1489, whom sued for peace with a heavy endemity paid to Henry IV, while the Apostolic Empire sent an army to aid the Paduans. The Battle of the Flourense Valley of 1489 was a decisive victory for Henry IV and saw Seinan influence reach east to the Appeni Mountains and Grand Alboro River. This is the conflict Urbino III brokered peace on.

By 1490 and only seven years on the throne Henry IV had greatly strengthened his Kingdom's standing. But had rivals on both sides. To the West the Not!Spanish were alarmed by Seinan maritime growth and influence over trade in the region. Further, incensed by the 1493 subjugation of the Sultan of Tangere and Oraq by the Seinan Admiral Gaspard de Lou in the Tourmaline Corsair War of 1492-1493.

While in the East the Apostolic Empire has rallied to reverse their misfortunes of the previous decade and now the entire region from the Westlands to the lands bordering the Tourmaline Sea is a powderkeg as old claims are pressed.

This will go hand in hand with wider, more local, PvE/NPC conflicts that the players can start out with to get their first posts out and make their first plays. Possibly feeding into a wider conflict as the 15th century wraps up and the 16th Century dawns.

The Damascene Republic being roped into conflicts over the Tourmaline Sea because they're literally the half-way point sounds perfect.

I am almost done with my first draft

I am incredibly sorry. Do to personal life factors related to my own idiocy, I think it would be best if I withdrew from this Role Play. If you wish to keep my polity and it's lore intact i give you full permission to do so. Thank you for the fun. And again, I'm sorry.

Hm, found it.i hope I can still play as that Evil Magocracy with some Psi-Warriors. This seems to all be the same. Unfortunately, it'll take a while of digging around to find my half-salvaged app, but I'll apply soon.

ValinoreanDawn ValinoreanDawn what is the most undesirable land like a desert or barren land

kay, my orcs will probably go there

The Orcs are almost ready- had a last minute idea so history is delayed
