Personality: Maddie has two very distinct sides to her. In public, she's quiet, reserved, and patient. She'll probably be the last to offer her opinion on anything, if she does at all. Among her friends in the coven, she's warm and friendly, always willing to lend a hand. She's made it clear that if anything happens to them, she'll defend them to the last.

Bio: Hard to believe as it may seem now, Maddie was the school victim not that long ago. If there was lunch money to be stolen or someone to be shoved in a locker, it was Maddie on the losing end. At first, she lost herself in prayer, but when Heaven failed to answer her, she turned to Hell. And this time, her cries did not go unanswered.

She summoned a demon named Xathriel, who told her she could have power beyond her wildest dreams, but she'd have to devote her life to her magic and bring him regular sacrifices . Maddie agreed, and sealed their pact with a blood ritual. That night, she ran away from home, and Xathriel helped her build a little cottage in the woods. But Maddie knew that their were threats out there, and she would have difficulty defending herself alone, so she recruited other girls to form a new coven.

Magical Specialty: Summoning- Maddie's blood sings with infernal power, and as such, she is easily able to call forth demons and other creatures of Hell. All it takes is a little preparation.





Name: Michael Mitchell

Personality: Michael is impulsive and daring- if he sees a shot at a mark, he's going to take it, though he'll at least try to minimize collateral damage. He also holds nothing back in anything he does.When he's not hunting, he likes to go for long runs, knowing that when you're up against the supernatural, a fit body is essential.

Bio: Up until he was 12, Michael was blissfully ignorant of the dark supernatural world, until he was kidnapped by a coven one night. The witches used children as blood banks for rituals, as well as draining their life force to keep them eternally young. Michael managed to convince the other children to rise up against the witches with weapons they had stolen, but the plan went awry and they were forced to run for it. Michael was the only one to get away successfully, but the incident made him swear that nobody would ever suffer the depredations of a coven again. Two years ago, he returned to the scene of his imprisonment and, with the help of a few fellow witch hunters, wiped them out. Now he's in upstate New York, investigating rumors of a newly formed coven.
