Welcome, my name is KingofAesir but you can call me King or whatever else you prefer really. This isn't going to be a terribly long thread and I'm not going to post any sort of pairings or plot bullets. I recently was given an assignment in my pursuit of an art degree that has had me drawing scenes that seem to linger outside of reality. To me, they almost look dreamlike and quiet like a hazy memory and I've become hyper-obsessed with that feeling recently. So, to try and sate my creative urges outside of art, I have come here.
Okay, so what the hell are you trying to roleplay?
I know, I know, this isn't exactly the most straightforward ask for a partner, but, I've found that I can't exactly put this into a cut and dry plot format. Essentially, what I would like to write is something with a lot of hazy atmosphere, like a barely remembered dream. It's almost like I want to put an impressionist painting into words.
So the potentials. This kind of atmosphere can be achieved best, I think, through mystery, fantasy whether modern or medieval, or potentially even a dystopian setting. I absolutely love world-building and would love anyone who could do that with me. Let's step into an impressionist painting and build the world around us from there. Let's write a story that feels raw and emotional. Let's write something real. If you understand this strange, abstract request then please do not hesitate to DM me.
And now, like the end of a medical commercial listing side effects, let me list a few deal breakers if you feel like you want to do this with me.
- Must be 18 or older, I'm 20 and would feel wildly uncomfortable roleplaying with anyone younger.
- Must be literate and able to write at least three or four paragraphs per post (see below for why so long), if you're not feeling it and need to write something shorter that week then please tell me.
- Able to write at least one post a week. I'm not going to ask for multiple posts a day or week because I can't do that myself. I like to be able to put time into my work, especially for this sort of roleplay.
- Don't ghost, I'll cry.
- Follow the RPN rules, damnit
- Have a Discord? This is not a hard and fast rule but I'd really like to be able to communicate out of character with you this way!
