Personality: He follows his own ethics and code of honor, doesn't shy away from killing enemies but prefers to avoid if it possible. Overall he's an enthusiastic and cheerful person with a certain degree of naivity in him.
Biography/History: He was raised by a riot squad officer in Roanapur, and eventhough he was a corrupt police officer, he kept his head held high and his spine straight. Because no matter how low he sunk in this cesspool, he kept true to his own code of honor. That was the type of idol and father figure Tamao had and eventhough he'll never admit it, it had an impact on him.
He decided to oppose his father's wish to join the police force and after heavy debating, it was clear to Tamao's father that his son had become a man that followed his own way in life and he wasn't about to let someone else call the shots for him. He accepted that and was unable to show his pride in how his son turned out, but both knew what the other thought, no words were necessary.
Tamao went his own way and decided to start his own crew because he realized most of the gangs's hierarchy was set in stone for the time being and he refused to be a doormat or errantboy.
That decision was the start of the Black Lagoon Company.
