Big Code Suggestion

So I had a suggestion for some updates to our current buttons for the Big Code Update and a few new buttons that I think would be a good addition.

  • if there is a way that we could be given the ability to change the border color of our tables. I think this would serve multiple purposes - it would bring back borders and if you could even mimic a columned look by making the background border white or black.
  • also the ability to edit a table again after you create it - which might already be a thing

some added buttons

  • we need a justify button to give us another alignment option.
  • we need a indent feature ( tab ) that will help us break up text into pseudo columns if the table edit thing won't work
  • if possible a spell check button would be super helpful. Especially with the new blog features,

I don't think there is a function for it on the site just yet, but you can add border colors and background colors to a table in a google doc and copy it over. I've done it a few times. It works.

It is a thing. Ctrl+right click

Doesn't spell check already exist? When I type a word wrong, it automatically tells me with a little red squiggly underneath it. Or perhaps that's not called spell check.

That's spellcheck, but it's likely your browser doing it. I know Chrome does, not sure about others.

Chrome, Safari, FireFox, and InternetExplorer all have built in spell checks but it is always a nice touch to have one built in. ^^

As far as the 'ctrl' right click option goes to edit tables, I have never been able to use this on my Mac.

Hmm... I'm not on a mac so I can't really comment on that. I've done it on PC and it also works to change the height/width of pictures.

I can see it being different on different devices, though.
