"Growf!"
Two “ordinary” people - a man and a woman - are suddenly and inexplicably endowed with powers beyond reason. What will they do with their powers? What will they do when they learn of one another? Are they gods? How will the government or public react when it learns of them?
Each of our beings were of college age. Each was single. Both live in America and speak English. Whether they actually went to or still go to college is another matter. Whether they have a social life is another matter. They may or may not have had jobs. Truth is, they are the same people they were before - and can change back to resume their normal lives any time they wish.
It IS possible they know one another in mundane ID’s, but not necessarily, as their superpowered alter egos. This is something to decide before the RP starts.
Powers
Female
The female will awaken in a volcano of Hawaii (Kilauea) - lying on top of a pool of boiling lava. (Lava is dense, you wouldn’t sink in it even on Earth.) The heat didn’t even phase her. In fact, she felt comfortable in it. Neither did she have any trouble breathing. Her costume seems to come with her transformation and is immune to her powers.
She learned very quickly that she could fly. She doesn’t know how fast, but so far nothing has been able to keep up. This far, though she has only face off against helicopters. But seeing as she left them behind as if they were just hovering and broke mach, she has a very high top speed. (She is quite capable of spaceflight and needs no life support.)
She can project beams of energy like Starfire, but also fire. She can glow or immolate. She can also absorb heat or light. She isn’t aware of it, but she emits strong pheromones when threatened or aroused. She can learn any language spoken by humans by touch or very close proximity. The language isn’t retained permanently, but over time it can be fully retained. Her strength and constitution are supernatural.
She is quite bulletproof. Hand to hand combat is another matter. While very durable, she can be harmed. But your average thug could break a baseball bat over her head to little effect. Best he would do is annoy her. A switchblade might tickle. She can also summon a staff out of thin air. It is made of a material not of terrestrial origins and will defy analysis. So far as she can determine it is indestructible.
Her senses are superhuman. She can see the full visible spectrum into the infrared. She can hear radio. She can see through up to about ½ inch of normal material so long as it isn’t enhanced by materials that block enchantments. She can see electrical energy, including nervous systems. Her hair is alive and moves with a life of its own. It also senses movement all around her. She has hypercognition, which allows her to see / sense events around her at hyperspeeds and choose her actions tactically. (Like Kato from the Green Hornet remake.)
Male
The male is quite humanoid. (The picture was the best I could find.)
He will awaken in a hellish netherrealm - lying on a pool of lava. His hellish nature was much more apparent as he had the horns, tail and wings. His costume - including armor - comes with his transformation. His strength and constitution are supernatural. (The female is actually the more combat capable.)
He soon learned he could teleport. (He can even across dimensions. He could fly (though nowhere near as fast or maneuverable as the female), though how wings could work in space is a complete mystery. Teleportation seems to be his fastest way of getting around. He can also alter his passage through time - slower or faster - not in reverse though. He is reluctant to speed up the flow of time around him.
He can summon energy, but not merely fire, more as an elementalist. (He doesn’t know why different energies are easier or harder at different times.) He can glow, immolate, have electrical energy wash over his body. He can also absorb heat or light but only smaller quantities. He isn’t aware of it, but he emits strong pheromones when threatened or aroused. He can learn any language spoken by humans by touch or very close proximity. He is a powerful telekinetic. (No, he doesn’t move bridges or a street full of cars.) Anything with a will of its own can resist. He could snatch a gun out of a thug’s hand, but not move the thug himself. He can manipulate matter - but only within the limits of his understanding. He can’t turn plastic into glass. But he could shape a glass into a glass ashtray. This works best on plain old rock. (It is really an ability to construct castles and the like over time.)

We will each need to develop a CS for our mundane identity. I plan to run the male. Please, please, PLEASE no animated gifs. (Noone seems to read this far and the past few CS I looked at were unreadable because of them.) Photo is preferred.
