  hey everyone! i know y'all have seen me on the forums looking for partners before, but this time it's a bit different. i am looking for partners in a specific fandom - gravity falls. i have recently rewatched the entire show (and the shorts, AND read the comics) and i have fallen back in love with the universe.
  
  please read through the rules i have below before contacting me.
  
  - this is a canon x oc-only search thread
  - gxg, bxb, and gxb is totally okay with me!
  - but also, you don't have to indulge in romance - platonic relationships are cool too
  - descriptive, third-person roleplay styles only - no script, no first-person, no text talk while in character (oorp text talk is totally fine, of course)
  - i write at least two decent paragraphs per response on both sides and i want the same from you, please
  - please contribute to plotting and talking about our characters
  - i will tell you if our roleplay styles don't mesh
  - i am not ghost friendly
  - i try to respond at least twice a week and i expect the same from you
  - if you want one of the kids as a love interest, they need to be aged up to their late teens at least

  i have a few storyline ideas for gravity falls that i would like to explore! and if you have any, please do let me know! i also have a few that are more closely oriented to my characters themselves.
  
  reverse falls
  the au that switches the characters around, making pacifica and gideon good (and often siblings) and making mabel, dipper, stanford, and stanley evil (and bill, often renamed "will", an unfortunate pawn in their game). i love the potential that this au has and there's a lot we could do with it.
  mafia au
  stanford and stanley take over the mafia their father filbrick left them in jersey, though they relocate it to gravity falls when they get older. when their younger brother shermie dies in a suspicious accident and leaves behind two twelve year old kids, they're forced to take them in and teach them the ways of the mafia.
  circus au
  gravity falls isn't a town, but a travelling circus - the corduroy's perform dangerous stunts, gideon reads people's palms and tells fortunes, stanley pines gambles and tells tall tales, and so on. it's almost impossible to get tickets, but when you do, it's always worth dropping whatever you've got in the way to go.
  
  and here are some ideas that we could work with somehow, but i don't have any concrete ideas for, if that makes any sense. it's... well, it's like a word bank with more variety than just words. lol
  
  camp counselors - college - high school - demigods/goddesses - muse a and muse b have been dating for ages via internet (overseas? across the country? the continent?) and as a surprise, muse a flies over to muse b’s place for their anniversary and surprises them - superheroes/villains - slice of life
