hey hey!! you guys can call me bento! i am new here on this site but i have 4 years of roleplaying experience so don't let that deter you
i am new to this so i apologize for my thread not looking as pretty as others, i just have no idea how to do it lol.

as stated before, please call me bento. i use she/her pronouns and i am pansexual/romantic! i am black (AA) and i love to bring diversity with my characters into my rps.
i am currently a student but i am on break at the moment so i have a lot of time on my hands. i am a pretty laid back person when it comes to response lengths and response times. i like to joke around with my partner and just overall become friends with them ^^ it just makes everything that much more enjoyable! also a HUGE monster lover!

i can play male or female characters and i am comfortable playing f/m and f/f! i have not done an m/m roleplay yet, but i am always willing to try anything once
i mostly play oc x oc, but i play canon x oc as well! i mainly do double ups with canon, but if you don't like that we can work something out ^^ i have some fleshed-out ocs ready but i do love making new ones!
i love love LOVE to brainstorm! i am a maladaptive daydreamer so its very nice to get all of my ideas out and said to someone! i really like to hear insight and ideas from other people as well. if you have plots id love to see them! if you have setting ideas please tell me! i want to hear it all if you are having trouble with an idea come to me!!
i have to admit i am a HUGE sucker for romance and found family plots. i just love love whether it be platonic or romantic ^^ enemies/rivals to friends/lovers/enemies really butters my biscuits as well. i do love a good dark rp too wink wink.
romance is NOT the main priority of the rp!! trust me i love romance as much as anybody else, but i prefer the roleplay to develop and grow before/along with the romance.

The knight could barely keep his stance in the presence of such power. His metal-clad knees clattered together as he shakily rose his sword. The blade gleamed under the flickering light of the torches that lined the cavern's walls. A horned woman clad in a simple draped dress tilted her head at the gesture, her long blonde tresses falling over her shoulder as she did. She was beyond beautiful. Not a blemish or flaw in sight. It made him wonder what higher power she sold her soul to in order to achieve this.
"I-I have come to defeat you.. you demon!" His breath was ragged as he clamored. "For the honor of my King!"
Pointed nails tapped idly against the hollowness of the throne of skulls she sat upon. A heartbeat of silence passed between the knight and maiden as they stared each other down. The knight's eyes held fear and determination, while the maiden's flickered over him in boredom. "Is that so? You wish to slay me?" Her voice was thick with an unrecognizable accent. It was almost alluring to his ears, like a siren calling from the distance.
Suddenly, her idle stare morphed into a malicious grin. With her lips peeled back, her abnormally long and pointed canines were on full display. A gust of wind threatened to knock the knight back as she suddenly stood to her full height of over seven feet. Her pupils shrunk and shook with such intensity that burrowed into his soul. "Fine then! If it is a fight you want..," she started, slowly stepping down from her makeshift throne. Skulls cracked and shattered under the pressure of her heels. Her once fair fingers morphed into two sets of thick blackened claws with each step she took.
The opposing forces met eyes once again, fear and passion clashing. The knight hated to admit this, but despite everything, she was still the most beautiful person he has ever seen.
"Then it is a fight you will get."

It's finally time! Character one is finally going to be getting their (halo/horns/wings/etc.)! After years of studying and school, the final exam is here. The final exam is to be assigned a human by the council and (watch over them/haunt them/gain their soul/etc.). The exam is going swimmingly until suddenly.. it isn't. Some mishap happens and now Character one is stuck in the human realm with a very confused and petrified Character two. With no way to contact the council, Character one has no choice but to seek help from the very person they were being tested on.
The cards have always been laid out for Character one. From their birth, they had the weight of living up to their duties. As the eldest maternal child of their parents, they felt they were to take on their legacy. Their mother was a very powerful mage and held a chair in the COM (Council of mages). Character one's father used to be on the council, but he resigned after an unknown incident before they were born. Now he works as the head of enforcers. Needless to say, the young mage had big shoes to fill, and they did. Years have passed and now Character one stands in front of the COM, ready to receive their familiar. A familiar was supposed to be the perfect match for the mage, but the familiar Character one recieved was far from it. Character two, the familiar, was the total opposite of Character one. They made obscene jokes, they slacked, they didn't listen to rules, it was horrible! Character one begged the COM for a redo, but it was to no avail. They assured that there were never any mistakes. Character two was bonded to them forever.
Today was a shitty day for Character one. They had just left their father's funeral, which is where they found out about the massive debt he owed to a certain gang in the area. Character one was a (insert dead-end job here) worker, how in the hell were they supposed to pay this off? They spent the night sitting at their dining room table crunching numbers. They tried their hardest to find a way, any way, to obtain this money in a reasonable manner but it was impossible. The next thing they knew they were sprung awake by the sound of rapid pounding on their door. Character one froze, what do they do!? On the other side of the door stood Character two's right-hand man/woman. The gang was here to collect the debt, and they wouldn't leave without something of value.
