To be fair, Big Chill is supposed to be one of your characters' secondary aliens, so it won't make an appearance a while in. I feel like it would make sense for characters to "download" aliens instead of already having more than one, because someone with three characters gets to reserve six aliens right off the bat.

Unsurprisingly, James took after his father and was a natural at sports. With his auntie's careful guidance, he had been able to rise through the ranks. He soon stopped diligently training and did it more as a hobby once he had entered high school. The reason for this was because he had to dedicate his entire free time to soccer where he qualified for the team.
People had doubted his skills at first, believing that he only got in because of his father. However, he didn't listen to those and continued playing to prove them wrong. James slowly began to realize how fun it was to be a soccer player. He first started off as an attacker but then was transported to become a goalkeeper because of his rather good defensive skills. He then went on to go through high school with a little above average marks and a good reputation in sports. When he enrolled in college, he was highly sought after by sports colleges but he went on to become a PT student in the local college while also playing in their varsity team.
While they were in the middle of the game, Ben and the others were fighting the alien. However, being largely unaware of this, the match continued on. In unforeseen circumstances, James had been stabbed by a shard of the Omnitrix where he promptly turned into Heatblast accidentally. He was confused and was taken out of the game and it was subsequently cancelled thanks to the possibility that some other people might be hit. James finally got to control his transformations and then turn back to his human form. Seeing the opportunity that was presented to him by becoming Heatblast and knowing that something bad had happened to the intergalactic hero, he decided that it may be for the best if he were to follow the shards and the hallucinations. Might as well right?

Appearance: Duncan, due to circumstances outlined below, can't revert back to his human form. His Ectonurite form, on the other hand, is different from Ben's Ghostfreak due to safeguards in place because of the species' unique abilities.
Duncan's vapor tail splits into two halfway down, like a pair of legs. Each of these "legs", as well as his arms, have seams spiraling around them for his eye to come out of. These seams end in swirls on his chest and back, resembling the symbol for the zodiac sign Cancer, (
) and the one in front has a purple zipper going vertically between the seams that can be opened for Duncan to unleash his tentacles. There's another vertically-aligned zipper on the left side of Duncan's face, partially unzipped to make room for his eye.
Duncan's transformation came with clothing, but he discarded it in favor of a hoodie and baggy jeans salvaged from his apartment.

History: When Duncan was very young, he had developed a cancer that left him in the hospital for six months, but he suddenly recovered two days before his birthday. Duncan was thoroughly convinced that supernatural forces were at play, which caused him to become fascinated with the paranormal, which later extended to aliens once Ben 10 revealed his powers to the public. Duncan became fascinated with what lied beyond Earth's solar system and wanted to work for the Plumbers. He was a model student in college, and was even scheduled to finish his third and fourth years of college at the newly-built Plumber base on Anur Transyl when the cancer came back, much worse than before. He was seconds away from death when he was hit by an Omnitrix shard that turned him into Ghostfreak, saving him from both the cancer and the immediate collapse of the building, (the hospital he was in was right next to where the fight broke out) but his human form was locked behind a safeguard because of the cancer, so he's stuck in Ghostfreak form indefinitely.

His code only has "O" in it because an Ectonurite's gender can't be identified easily.
He has an older brother who is in a metal band.
Due to a combination of not being able to revert back to human and a pre-existing knowledge of the alien he became, Duncan has impressive control of his powers.
