Speaking in terms of IC: As of right now juniper is pretty much off the deep end, so rational thinking wouldn't be her strong suit. If the others would surrender and could keep her from harming herself she'd go peacefully. Or at least in a sort of PTSD trance.
In Ooc: I sense a mighty trap. You all saw how they killed her off like that, who's to say he won't do the same to us even if we surrender?

I noticed you and Avari both wrote your characters cradling Lucrezia. I wasnt sure which to have cradling her in my post, so I just wrote both of them were "right near her." Or something like that. Sorry if it seemed like I was ignoring you.
Roland wouldn't; he's got a lot of character flaws, but he's at least a man of his word. Or he tries to be. No idea if the same can be expected of Staxos, though.
In any event, I dunno if it would impact your decision at all, but if you surrender and face trial, what's the best outcome your individual characters could hope for? Some of the worst are serial killers and others notorious war criminals, so even with leniency, you're looking at what? Life in a dungeon instead of execution? Might be better just to go out in a blaze of glory. On the other hand, as long as you're alive, there's always hope of escape or early release.
Tannur's just a thief, right? He might have more hope than others for a good outcome in the surrender scenario. Unless he was responsible for some key assassinations or something and that was widely known and easily proven.
Someone like Rai, who might be useful politically in order to stop the other oni from fighting, might be treated better than others. Not sure if anyone else has similar value.

Seems like kind of a damned if we do damned it we don't moment here. Either we attempt to go out in a great fiery ball of glory against an enemy that has enough magical power to kill us without a thought or we surrender and rot in a dank dark dungeon for the rest of our lives.

Her primary leader is deceased, so Morgana will follow Rai since he's her mentor (she kind of lives off being told what to do). She won't necessarily like any of the directions and will fight to the death if it comes to it. Maybe grab a nearby broken pole or two. She's extremely aware of the odds though.

Morgana is like the product of something possessing an ordinary woman, right?
If she surrenders, she might be too busy putting up with everyone trying to perform exorcisms or something on her to worry about dungeons or executions.

Hmm... Silver's quite proud, so she hates the idea of surrendering, but i think if Mama Rai, Mama Tannur, and Morgana were all surrendering, she'd follow their lead.

Also how would they deal with Juniper when deciding a punishment? In her current state she's more akin to someone being mind-controlled than anything else. Who knows if she will ever recover from her mental breakdown.
