So, I really like beer. Lagers, IPA's, Golden Ales, Red Ales, Stouts, so on and so on. I love trying out new brands and brews, and sampling tipples from around the world (that I can buy locally at least).

So, those of you of drinking age in your home countries, what's your favourite brew?

My favourite so far is Innis & Gunn: Original.

It's a Scottish beer aged in oak casks, really unique flavour, kinda toffee vanilla like. I know they sell it in Canada and Sweden, not sure about USA, but I'd highly recommend it to beer fans :)

Giant disclosure? I'm not a beer expert by any stretch, so this is probably gonna sound hilarious to some of you.

First one I had when I was of age was Pilsner Urquell. So, you know, thats always got a place.

Otherwise my usual is Harpoon, especially Harpoon Leviathan. Not at all because they happen to have a brewery a block over from my office. . . .

There's a brown ale that I tried once and really liked, but haven't been able to find again. A lot of the other brown ales have been really disappointing.

I've given Urquell a go before, was nice! I mean I wouldn't say it was anything special but there's certainly nothing bad about it :)

And I like the sound of Harpoon Leviathan, Google tells me it's yet to come to the UK though. I'll keep my eyes open for it though :P

Also, only Brown Ale I can think of is Newcastle Brown, I'm also not really a fan of it, too... Iunno, just not for me, haha!

Blech. I hated Newcastle.

I did find the one I had in mind.

Regatta Brown | Deadwood Café & Brewery

Apparently its a really local thing, but it was smooth and flavorful. Maybe it was just the setting.
