Feather clung to the wall, spraying paint on the wall. She smiled at her artwork and added some finishing touches. She heard a man call her and looked down to see three officers. She smiled and saluted. "Officers.." She called to them before adding one more thing.

"Hey lady! This ain't no place for your dirty shit!!" He yelled at her. Feather clenched her fist and put her graffiti bottle back in her bag. She jumped off of the wall in a backflip, landing on the officer's face. He groaned in pain as she jumped down to the ground.

Feather dodged as the other two attempted to grab her and rushed off. "Losers!" She called over her shoulder as she left them, confused.

This was the best part of the night for him. The time between sundown and closing was the time that allowed for the most exploration. This is the time when he could enjoy his freedoms most effectively and enjoy the Dream Realm at its full potential.

Oh she’s running again! Through the woods in the darkness she ran. She would laugh at everything, but she laughed most at being free, her old face becoming rejuvenated in the softness of her Realm. She would breathe in the sweet scents of fields of lavender parallel to the field. Most often, however, she would dance. Alone or with a partner, she would dance through the trees. She would run through the forest that seemed tinted in blue. Always searching. She was always searching for something that she never could find. He still hadn’t been able to figure out what this mysterious item was, and oftentimes, he would have to leave her and explore the deepest parts of her Realm by himself—he had learned early on that any sight of him in this place would cause her to awaken. He wasn’t sure what it was about his demeanor that caused her to awaken, and his curiosity pushed him to more often than not push his theories and test her nightly.

He was sure she felt plagued by the man in black who forced himself around her Dream Realm as he pleased, but he did not care. Almost every encounter was different, and many nights he would catch her pushing herself into his essence, throwing herself into uncontrolled nightmares. She only seemed to do this when she was in the blue forest—blue—the color of faith—the color of the Virgin Mary. It filled him with disgust at the color, but this was her Realm and he was in no position to stop it. He was unsure why, in this forest, she would push herself upon him to bring such horrifying dreams, but she did and he did all he could to stop it, but that wasn’t enough. At first, he would feed from these lapses in better judgment, but Amel soon grew bored of her fear.

As he sat, high atop a perch in a nearby tree, watching her body as she danced around feverishly, he felt it. His eyes closed and he leaned back, a pleasant humming erupting from deep within his throat. She was in the land of lavender now—the land of grace, but he felt the presence of another. This was not the man that now sat above the shop, tinkering with some old piece of junk. This was a different feeling, and while Amel could not feel the emotions that radiated off of her—yes, a girl—he knew it was a new time and place to investigate, besides, the woman would sleep once more later and he could continue his experiment then.

“Time to awaken, my dear” His voice broke the calm that had pushed itself across the land as he let himself fall from the tree. She had stopped with hearing this new voice, turning to try and find the place it originated. He wasted no time on her, and soon walked into her sight. That was all she needed to awaken.

Moments rushed by in a flash and before he knew it, he was once again sitting in the warm chair inside of the small room. The screaming from the woman below could be heard, but all Amel could do was smile. It was time to get up and go out. It was time to leave this place.

Feather rushed through the empty streets, spraying streamers where ever she went. She smirked as she jumped over the hull of a car and rushed out on the road.

She screamed out, her voice echoing through the streets. "Get up!! It's time to partyy!!" She yelled. Some people came out of apartments, mostly guys. They laughed in joy and joined her. She threw around streamer bottled to people and together, they trashed the streets.

Feather soon got bored and walked into a dark alley, unnoticed. She climbed up on one of the walls and hung there. She took out a green bottle and sprayed 'Party Never Dies' on the wall. It shone in the dark and she added more colors. Eventually, she felt done.

She did a backflip, landing once more on the ground. She rushed out to the streets and used her speed to catch up to the mob, returning to leading it. "If you like to party, scream yeah!" She cheered. The whole crowd, probably containing over 500 by now, all screamed "Yeah!"

By the time Amel had made his way outside of the apartment building that he resided in the darkness was complete. He watched the street for a moment before walking down the steps and into the thick line of people that were already out and heading to clubs or home. He wasn’t sure where he would be taken by his feet tonight. He knew that at some point he would end the night with a beautiful woman sleeping her bed. He could feed off of her and be gone before the sun rose in the morning. Her fears would become all too real. He closed his eyes a moment, enjoying the reality of what would happen to some unsuspecting woman tonight.

"What a wonderful sound"Then, he heard the sound of yelling on another street as he passed an alleyway and he smirked. Cutting down the alleyway, he dodged obstacles within the darkness. He could see them all too well. He only wished he could feel the emotions running off of these people as easily. It would keep him from wasting his time.

The sounds of yelling meant either two things. Either someone was hurt and he could enjoy watching their pain and torment, or he was walking toward a group of kids that were just trying to have a good time. If the later was the case, he was sure he could cause some problems and enjoy the time he took out of his night to do so.

Feather, at the center of the crowd, was sitting on a man's shoulders. "Eyy!! We like to party!! We're the party people!" She cheered, everyone echoing her words. She yowled and sprayed streamers everywhere.

She dropped off the guys shoulders and went out of the crowd. She yawned slightly before picking a bottle out of her bag. She walked into a dark alleyway and smirked. She knew this place well. She climbed up on one of the walls and hung there. She shook the bottle, thinking of what to make.

She was still unaware of the man that was in the same alley as her. She started spraying a star and then evolved it into a giant shooting star, starring the words live, love, hate. She smirked as she took out two bottles, spraying with both hands.

Amel walked silently down the alleyway. The yelling continued and he watched as someone shot down the alleys. He chuckled quietly as he watched her form. He had enough power to pull the shadows around him and darken himself until he would just the a black spot in the girls vision. Something was different about the being that walked down the alleyway. While she looked as if she were just unknowingly defacing the side of a building, she felt different. Her emotions and her power felt different. He walked silently up behind her.

"I see someone likes to deface public property in the name of...the 'party'?" His voice was deep as he spoke and he watched her silently in the darkness.

Feather turned her head and looked down, seeing nothing but darkness. She narrowed her eyes. "Oh please, I do this because it's fun.." She said, smirking. She flipped her hair before returning to her artwork. When she was done, she switched bottles. She used a darker shade to create shadows and smiled.

"Almost.." She said to herself. She dropped down in a backflip, landing in a crouch. She walked further along the alley and dug into a cardboard box, taking out three more bottles. She jumped up on the wall and climbed up, over to the graffiti.

He followed the girl closely as he watched her. He slowly let the shadows fade away. He watched her for a moment and realized that she was truly uncaring. This would be a great girl to take. He smirked as he watched her, forcing himself up the building behind her.

“Fun wasting all of your power. All of your energy?” He watched silently as she continued to spray paint the walls. “Is this all you ever do? Cause riots in the streets and run away from your problems?” There was the sound of others running down the alleyway and the shadows returned him into darkness as he watched the men yelling and laughing below.

Feather shook her head, smirking. "You have no idea what I do, and you have no reason to know either." She snapped. "And about my energy, I got so much, at the end of the day, there's nothing else I'd rather spend it on." She said, shrugging.

She looked down at the men and smirked. "I have fun." She summarized as she finished her artwork. She looked over at him as she turned around, clinging to the wall with one hand and one leg.

Of course he was just winding her up to see what he could get out of her. She snapped at him and he watched her for a moment. He chuckled and realized that this girl was growing boring. If she wanted to get herself into trouble, then she would be able to do it on her own. Something about her energy still struck him, but he couldn't find out what it was about her that made him worry. He didn't worry about it, but he jumped from his perch onto the building and back toward the ground. He landed with a near-silent thud.

"Suit yourself" He called back to her before starting down the alleyway toward the large wad of people still in the street. He had energy seeking to do.

Feather smirked and looked down. She shook her head. "Hey!" She dropped down and rushed after him. "Wait up!" She called as she neared him. She came up to his side and punched his shoulder. "Don't count me out!" She said, smirking.

She looked out at the crowd and smirked. "How about crashing some windows eh? Get the cops involved?" She asked, a grin appearing on her face.

He had turned to walk away, but the girl wouldn't let him do it alone. She jumped down and followed him. She was ignoring the men that seemed to follow behind her. He wasn't sure what they wanted from her, but he assumed they knew he was the life of the party. Shaking his head, he stopped at the mouth of the alleyway.

"Sorry, kid. I'm not one for cops." He knew that lock up would be the worse place for him. If someone cornered him, they would be dead by the end of the night. He didn't look toward her as he began to wade through the crowd. "I much prefer enjoying my time alone with someone" He smirked as men and women alike accidentally pushed against him and fell to the ground.

Feather raised an eyebrow and smirked. Can't help but wonder.. She nodded her head and followed him, knowing he must think of her as childish. "Really?" She asked as she came up to him, her eyes shining. "And what is that supposed to mean?" She replied, her voice childish just to prove his point. "Oh look, I'm such a baby.." She said as she laughed.

She shook her head, her eyes dark. "No. You don't turn my attention down, trust me Love. If you're not one for cops, then you must be one of them cowards, eh? Or perhaps you're one of those mystery guys who attempt to seduce women at bars just to get lucky?" She went on, smirking. As a guy walked up beside her, she handed him a streamer bottle. He grinned and kissed her cheek before rushing off. Feather didn't even react as she pushed past a couple that were kissing.

This girl thought that she understood him. He chuckled quietly as he pushed past more people. She spoke being him and everything she said was just wrong. He closed his eyes as he walked, feeling the moisture beginning to accumulate in the air. He could feel it. Amel's eyes turned dark as clouds began to form over the stretch of street. When he thought that she had finally finished, he turned on her, looking down into her eyes.

"No. No coward knows how to show women a good time like I do. I don't even have to touch you. Women like you have no sex appeal." His eyes swirled to a darkness and his hair grew wet. "Causing touble for the sake of causing trouble is nothing." There was a crack of lightning above. "Causing trouble for the sake of pain and pleasure and fear is the only reason to cause trouble" With his words the clouds above let loose with a torrent of rain.

Feather smirked as her hair was soaked. She took off her hat and smirked. She walked away from him. "I won't bother to argue with a demon." She snapped, making sure he heard. She smirked and rushed off into the crowd, jumping up on a guys back. She was lifted onto his shoulders and she continued to party with the other college students, even though she was in fact not one of them.

She soon forgot all about the man and just enjoyed herself. She was passed a bottle of drink and downed it, the crowd cheering. "Drink!! Drink!! Drink!" They cheered. She finished the drink and screamed in joy.

So that's what it was. She was one of God's creatures. He could hardly believe it. He knew he had felt something different from her, but the way she acted surprised him. "Because you are Holier than thou!" He growled after her and watched as she ran. This girl was strange. She was much closer to human than any angel he had ever encounters and she inherently did bad things. Amel watched the crowd as she disappeared and walked toward a near building. He would watch her. Maybe she was an opportunity.

Feather danced around with the crowd and drank even more. If she hadn't been an angel, not being able to get wasted, she's have dropped down from the headache. As the last person dropped, she stood there dancing by herself. She downed her bottle and threw it away. She smirked as she made her way through the crowd, careful not to step on anyone.

As she came out, she walked up to a nearby store. She picked up a stone and yelled as she cupped her hands around her lips. "Hey officers!! There's been a mistake!! I'm not going ANYWHERE!!" She yelled. Soon, sirens were getting closer. Feather smirked and threw the rock into the glass, making it shatter. Her force caused a domino effect, causing all windows on the entire street to smash. She screamed out, "Over here!!", as a police car pulled up, going towards her. She ran away, her speed making it easy to escape.

She rounded a corner, the car following her. All you could hear was more smashed windows and her voice as she roamed the streets.

This girl was far from an angel. She may have been a child of God, but there was something different about her. She was chaos in a human form. He watched as she drank until the people dropped and ruined the homes of hundreds of people. He wondered how easily she could be molded into doing what he pleased. He ran silently on the rooftops following her. As he needed, he would use the shadows to transport himself in in the region of her laughs and giggles. He wondered if he could help the police catch her. He needed her in a place of vulnerability so he could get her to listen to him and realize that he wasn't the bag guy. He opened up a portal of shadows beneath her that would drop her right into the police's hands. He only wondered if she would miss the change and fall to her doom.

Feather laughed as she glanced back at the police. She suddenly shrieked as she dropped down into the portal. "Shit!" She screamed as she appeared right in front of the police. Two officers tried to grab her, but she jumped high into the air, kicking on of them in the face and the other in between the legs. She grunted as someone handcuffed her and she struggled to get free.

She knew who's work this was. She spun around and bumped her head into his chest, knocking him off of his feet. She shrieked in terror as two more grabbed both her arms and lifted her off of the ground. She flailed with her legs trying to get away, but they got her. "You're coming with us." They said, smirking.

Feather growled. She broke the handcuffs as she let her wings grow out on her back. She shot into the sky and powered an orb of light in between her hands. She shot it down at the officers and used it as her escape plan. As they were blinded by the light, she took off.

Amel laughed as she fell blindly into the darkness of his portal. She would be able to get free from the police if she fought hard enough. He watched from high in the sky as she pushed herself away from them. He shook his head. Complete chaos. This was perfect. She hurt people on so many levels. He laughed as he looked at her fly away. She was perfect.

Feather landed on a roof and mended her wings to her body. She growled and shot a beam of light at a mirror. It shot off into the night sky, appearing as a shooting star. Feather sat down on the edge of the roof and used her light bending to create a guitar. She strummed and then started playing, nodding her head to the beat.

He watched her from where he was for a few more minutes until he was sure that the girl had found her perch. He then opened up a portal and threw himself through. He was starting to run out of energy. He wouldn't be able to keep this up for long. He appeared about ten feet behind the girl and watched her silently as she strummed on the light.

(I'll see you later)

Feather heard someone behind her but ignored it. She continued playing the guitar, faster and more intense. She finished the song and sat there for a while, looking down at the ground far below. She sighed and rose to her feet, turning around to face the man. "Hello demon. Please go away." She snapped, her eyes dark. She rolled her eyes and walked past him, spreading her wings.

He chuckled quietly, watching as she walked past her.

"You are very quick to dismiss, Angel." They knew not of each others names, and if she did learn it, he was sure it would mean nothing to her. It seemed that she was not one for learning from those uppity teachers of the high realm. "Is one not taught in the High Realm to 'love thy neighbor'? We are neighbors--in fact-only this Middle Realm here separates us."
