GET LUCKY
Summer Mixtape
hey, it's mild! in this new story, a group of young adults and teenagers will see how hate & violence can affect their relationships, friendships and their overall social enviroment. this roleplay has been inspired by many different things and has been on my mind for a while, but didn't know when I would upload it. the roleplay itself is inspired by disney movies, cartoons animations, as well as social events and personal events that have happened in my life. while the rp isn't too dark, there will themes of hate and violence as a result of the plot. however, the story will include mostly cordial and slice-of-life-y moments along with a peaceful (hopefully!) ending. stayed tuned to learn more! *✲゚*o(*^▽^*)o*✲゚*
As the days become longer and the nights become shorter in the town of {name undisclosed}, travelers start flocking to this coastal town in {state/country name undisclosed}. Known for its heavenly sunsets and emerald waters, {name undisclosed} attracts thousands of visitors all year long. This constant influx of visitors brings the town most of its revenue and keeps the beaches well-kept. However, there is a conflict that passes the township every summer.
The vacationing surfers, or beachcombers as they call them, often clash with the local surfers, also known as beach bums. From trivial things as surfer "codes" to more noteworthy things, namely a "beach bum vs. beachcomber" contest in {name undisclosed}. While the rivalry only lasts a few months in the year, it's been happening for six decades with no stop.
While the friction between the two groups benefits the town's profit, the younger generation had brought violence into the feud which in consequence brings a bad name to the community of surfers in the municipality. Despite the conflict, the town hall has turned a blind eye to the situation, leading the clash between "beach bums" and "beachcombers" to grow more intense.
As a result, many youths have tried to end the strife between to the groups with protest, which in turn often escalates to riots. This ineffective method was used several times in the past with no avail, leading the newest generation of young surfers with distrust in locals and with little ideas to carry on the action of peace.
In this new year and the new generation of locals and foreigners alike, will hate riddle through or will they stand up for peace?
