  Hey! Welcome to my 1x1 search thread! This has been on my mind for a long time honestly, because I was indecisive about whether I wanted to give 1x1 rping a shot. Typically I stick to group rping but I caved and decided to give this a try. If you’re interested I’ll be going over some things about myself, what type of plots I’d be interested in, and my expectations. For the sake of keeping things neat I’d prefer if those interested messaged me privately, rather than commenting in this thread.
  
  Now! On to the introduction. As you can see my name’s Reveur but I also go by Rev. I’m 22 years old, my pronouns are she/her, and I’ve been rping since I was about 11, maybe longer than that. If I’m not rping I’m usually working, watching asmr videos, or listening to music.
  
  I’m a pretty fast writer most of the time and can reply multiple times a week depending on the plot of a rp. Though I don’t mind if my partner replies at a slower pace, I realize that people are busy irl so I like to be considerate of them. My favorite rp genres are academia, supernatural/fantasy, drama, slow burn romance, superpowers, and thrillers. While I don’t do early historical rps I’ve been wanting to get into those that take place in the 20s, 70s, and 90s. Fandoms aren’t usually my thing since I don’t like playing canon characters but I’m not opposed to oc characters in fandom worlds, if that makes any sense.

  Now that you know a bit about me, here are my rules and expectations for my rp partners. Please make sure to read through everything, and if you find it agreeable, then feel free to shoot me a pm!
  
  → 01. Please be 18+ if you plan on rping with me 1x1. I’ve had people lie about their age to me before, which was a big reason why I was hesitant to do 1x1 rps. But I’m willing to trust those that express interest in rping with me.
  
  → 02. Any type of bigotry is absolutely unacceptable. It makes me sad that I even have to clarify this. But, I am a person of color and part of the lgbt+ community, and so any homophobia, transphobia, racism, prejudice, etc will not be tolerated here. This is my first and last warning. However, I’m willing to explore some of these themes within a rp setting, I say this tentatively.
  
  → 03. Be able to chat ooc with me! I really love being able to casually endlessly discuss plotting, world building, and especially our characters with each other. I love being able to make moodboards, pinterest boards, etc for our characters. I don't like us interacting when it's strictly about rping, I honestly want us to be friends! If I feel like we're not compatible, or can't have a conversation, I most likely won't be interested. I also tend to prefer chatting over discord!
  
  → 04. My writing style is in 3rd person and my posts tend to range from one to multiple paragraphs, which means no one liners! Feel free to send a writing sample if you'd like. Also if we’re using face claims, I only use real face claims and prefer if my partner does as well.

  These are just some of the plots that have been on my mind lately! I’ll be adding more slowly but surely! Feel free to suggest things that you’d be into. Roles marked with * are those that I would be using.
  
  → 01. Two gangs have come together at last, after years of bloodshed after territory, cliente, and merchandise, the two forces have decided to put an end to the rivalry. Muse A and Muse B are the children of these former rivals. Their minds have been filled with hateful thoughts of the opposing gang, both being raised on the idea that they were nothing but enemies to crush beneath their shoes. Their lives have been changed like that, they are to be married as a way to join these two powerful forces together. And while they hold hate and contempt for each other, there are those who are looking to do away with both gangs. Those within and outside of each group who are scheming and plotting to break the peace treaty and destroying their way of life.
  
  → 02. It has been years since the world was overrun by the undead. Individuals were forced to put down loved ones as they attacked, humans turned on each other quickly, and the world seemed to descend into chaos. It’s been 5 years since a cure has been found and those afflicted by the virus were integrated back into society, haunted by the memories of what they did, forced to relive that state of being stuck in their own bodies as the hunger took over. Not everyone is willing to accept these individuals into society, so the hate that they face is to be expected. Muse A is a cured individual who lives within a facility for others like them. They run into Muse B, someone from their past. The one who they had attacked all those years ago.
  
  → 03. New York is bustling with life as usual and the Roarin’ 20s are in full swing. Muse A* is a popular singer in the famed Cotton Club. A young woman from a small town, looking to make it big in the entertainment industry. Muse B is a bodyguard, a stern individual who has been hired to protect the rising starlet from harm. Though it’s much easier said than done, as the lady has a knack for getting into trouble.
  
  → 04. Centuries ago mermaids swam freely within the world’s oceans, each more unique than the last, some were known for their vibrant tails and how similar to humans they were in looks, while others held the traits of true fish, ranging from sharks to jellyfish and eels. Their more deadly counterparts, the sirens, preferred to dwell in deeper waters, hunting anything that dared enter their territory. The darkness of the Mariana Trench was the area they called home, away from humans. Either way life changed for these creatures when humans started to actively hunt them. Pirates captured these creatures and sold them off to the highest bidder, the more colorful ones were often kept in tanks as pets and entertainment. While the not so attractive ones were often seen as delicacies that only the wealthiest could afford to partake in.
  
  Soon a battle broke out between these species, the waters that they called home were stained with blood belonging to both sea creatures and humans alike. After years of fighting and the ending of pirates, the war was ended with a treaty signed and the mermaids were never seen again. Their societies were built away from humans, so that they may never bring forth another way again. With that mermaids faded into myth.
  
  Muse A* is a siren from the waters of Barbados. With humans mass fishing it has caused her pod to venture further out into the open in order to travel. It was through this that his sister was captured, causing her to travel to a small fishing town to find her. Muse B found this strange human, no creature wandering around the property of their home and decided to take them in. It wasn’t long before Muse B realized that this person wasn’t human, a splash of water was all it took to reveal their true former. As a marine biologist Muse B wanted to study this creature in order to eventually reveal it to the world and make a name for themselves.
  
  There are those who wish to capture Muse A and the rest of their kind, descendants of past hunters who believe the tales of their ancestors and want to bring back their legacy.
  
  → 05. Muse A and Muse B have always been interested in the occult. Since they were young they would read tales of supernatural creatures online, go to their local library to research chilling stories of horror and intrigue. The idea had always been at the forefront of their minds, a detailed list of all the places that they’d visit in hopes of seeing the supernatural for themselves. The town had thought them childish, perhaps a little out of it even. But they refused to listen, they would show everyone back home that there were things beyond what they learned in their small town, that the world was inhabited by more than just humans and the ordinary creatures they all learned about in school. And so after graduating the two friends set off to follow their dream, packed up their bags and equipment that they owned and drove off in the van they had been saving up for.
  
  The process was slow, but eventually they began to run into creatures of myth. But soon they became greedy. They wanted to see more creatures, bigger monsters and ghost. Ones that would leave their little town and the world in awe. And of did they hit the jackpot land land right into the home of a mysterious “spirit”, the ghost of a child who died of illness. Foolishly they believed the being, they were tricked by the spirit who soon revealed itself to be a demon of terrible origin. Now the friends must find a way to vanquish this being or risk losing their souls. And now, supernatural creatures of various types have decided to reveal themselves, the cryptids that they read about are all two real and dangerous.
  
  → 06. It’s been about 30 years since Project Revival has come into play. The project was created by those in power, after they realized our carbon footprint had gotten too large. Overpopulation and lack of resources had quickly become a concern for the country, immediate action was taken. The country formerly known as the United States of America was split, a large city was placed within it. Only a select few individuals were able to live within the cities, important people like doctors, scientists, parents to be, children, law enforcement, were just some of the people allowed to live inside. Of course with enough influence and political power, the top 1% were able to buy their ways inside. That left the unwanted, many of the criminals and poor were left outside, sent little resources in order to adapt.
  
  With little human interference the world began to heal, old buildings were taken over by the flora of the country and animals took over the cities, breeding and increasing their populations. Those forced to live outside the walls of the new city Oasis adapted as well, forming clans of their own within the overgrown forest, hunting and living off the land to survive. Taking those tossed outside in if they proved themselves to be worthy.
  
  Muse A* is the leader of one of the largest clans within the Other World, a strong hunter and skilled fighter who puts their people before all else. They were taught we lead from a young age. Muse B spent their entire life within the walls of Oasis, however something happened that led to them being kicked out of the safe zone. While aimlessly wandering through the forest, they come across a beast but are saved by one of the Others. Taken to the leader of the clan Muse B must show their worth, prove that they can live within the clan and pull their weight.
