RpN as a rule doesn't delete anything. If something seems as though it was deleted, it was actually just hidden from public view.
Apparently there are problems with site stuff if things were ever actually permanently deleted.
You can always create a support thread if you need a thread "deleted."

You can remove your replies on threads from view, but unfortunately members cannot delete threads that they start. I cannot say if that is a bug or a site setting (since moderators have no involvement with the site settings).
