"I don't do much other than bake." Annon chuckles lightly, "When I was younger, El's dad taught me a lot about survival out here in Tera's most cruel and merciless lands... And I've continued with that, training myself as much as possible in my free time.. So I suppose that counts, as well."

Annon nods, "Right. And I'm glad El and I are with someone who obviously knows what she's doing, as well." He sighs a bit as he leans his had back, "Kid's had it rough..."

Acelynn creases her brows. "Do tell?" She prompted.

Annon rolls his head on the couch to look at her, "Well.. You've met her dad... Sure he hasn't always beat her, but he's been emotionally abusive her whole life. She never felt like anyone loved her but Sisina, then she ran off. When she started training for the military, she was laughed out for a long time. No one thought a woman could do it. She was only accepted in after nearly getting her head blown off while fighting against a terrorist attack on the palace. She has issues trusting people and getting close, despite how open she seems. A long time ago she trusted the wrong person, and got hurt in an irreversible way." He shudders at the memory of a 6 year old Eliana running to him, her body revealed to the harsh elements, blood pouring from the place none should have ever touched her, along with bruises in the shapes of hands and teeth all about her. "So now, she generally masks her real emotions behind happiness and eccentricity, or her professional stature... Seeing my dead mother was the first time I've seen her cry in ten years."

Acelynn's eyes widen. "Oh Gaia..I had..no idea." She said softly, herind unable to picture Eliana any less that she was to her.

Annon nods with a faint sigh, "The only reason I tell you about that... Is because sometimes at night she becomes fearful. She will sometimes see and hear people about, whom are not truly there. It's terrifying to see her that way, especially if you don't understand. And as we will all be travelling together, I thought it only fair for you to be aware of the reasons for some of her possible actions."

Acelynn nods. "Then perhaps you should sleep with her?" She suggested, since she figured he could handle her better than Acelynn could.

Annon gives a sad smile, "We've tried that... She becomes extremely androphobic during those times, so even I terrify her."

Acelynn sighs a bit. "Is there anything we can do?" She asked, hope seeping into her voice.

Annon shakes his head, "Not that I've found.. All we can do when she's like that, is try to speak to her calmly and show her no one is here, no one will hurt her."

Acelynn bites her lip a bit. "I'll let you handle that then..I'm not a..calming person." She said her mind saying: Or at least not anymore.

Annon nods, "It may not even happen, it's not every night... But, I just thought it fair to warn you."

Acelynn nods. "I'm glad you did, other wise I might not respond the way I should.." She said then laid back against the couch and closed her eyes, glad that so far only Sisina had noticed her roots.

After a few minutes of silence, Eliana bounds up the stairs with Sisina behind her, them both holding hands happily, "Guys! Guys! Guess what!" She looks up at her older sister excitedly, "Tell 'em!"

Acelynn opens he eyes and looks back at the two. "What?"

Annon quirks a curious eyebrow.


All the attention makes Sisina blush a bit as she looks at Acelynn, "Well... I didn't just come back to help with your hair..." She smiles sheepishly and reaches down, lifting up her shirt to reveal her slightly rounded stomach, "I came back... To tell you that you're gonna be an aunt..."

Acelynn blinks several times, then let's out a girlgirly squeal and run over an starts to rub her baby bump. "Oh my Gaia!! Is it a boy? I hope so. Girl is good too! Oh who is the daddy!? Imma have to beat him, noogie him, then hug em!" She said, all of that coming out of her mouth fast as she was genuinely happy and excited, her true emotions showing for once.

Sisina lets out a soft laugh as she reaches down and ruffles Acelynn's hair gently, "It's a boy, and his Daddy's name is Korben... He's this really great guy I met in this village a few weeks travel to the East."


Eliana giggles happily, "Imma be an aunt!" She bounces around excitedly, her hair swirling around her face as she spins in the air, "This is great!"


Annon chuckles at his friend and stands up, walking over he puts his hands on her shoulders, "Calm" His voice is slightly teasing as he looks into her eyes.

Acelynn looks up at Sisina, a huge smile on her face, though she was a bit envious. "When did you meet him? And when do I get to meet him?"

Sisina chuckles softly, "I met him about a year ago... He was badly wounded by Aloustay's men, and I fixed him up... After that, he just kinda stuck around and helped me out around the clinic... After three months he came up to me one night, pale and sweating horribly... He looked like he was about to have a heart attack, or something.." She smiles nostalgically, "When, in reality, he was so nervous because he was asking me out on a date... And, of course I said yes! The date was wonderful. He took me to an open meadow to eat this absolute feast he'd somehow prepared without my knowing, and we sat there... Under the stars for hours just talking. It ended with him taking me back home just before sunrise. He gave me a kiss goodnight and we both went to our respectful rooms. The next day he asked me to be his girlfriend, and happily I accepted. Skip forward another seven months and there was an attack. On my clinic... Korben was knocked unconscious by the enemy's gun, they'd hit him upside the head while he tried to protect me... For days he didn't awaken, he'd gotten a concussion and slipped into a coma. But, when he woke up six days later, the first thing he said was, "I love you, Sisina."" She grins happily, looking down at her slightly protruding 3 month stomach, rubbing it lightly, "And that's the night little Erik got made."

Acelynn's smile grows soft. "That's beautiful Sisina." She said and meant it 100%. "But I still gotta beat h cause I never got toeet him before little Erik." She teased lightly, the happiness in her voice very evident, as this was the first time in a while that not only had she seen Sisina happy, but her herself truly happy.

Sisina giggles softly and nods, "You can beat him anywhere... Just keep it above the belt... And below the chest... So, you can like flick his tummy." She says teasingly as she reaches forward and ruffles her hair once more, "And soon enough you'll find your own prince Charming for me to beat up. So don't be teasing too much." She giggles once more, still subconsciously rubbing her stomach.

Acelynn sighs a bit. "If I ever find one then you're welcome to beat him." She said, the smile still on her face, though she felt the achin loneliness in her chest. She was 19 and still had no one, but then again, that was a good thing, as no one needed to know who she really was other wise they and her would be in great danger.

Sisina smiles, pulling her shirt down again before pulling Acelynn into a soft hug, "And after I beat him you can go play kissy face all night long~"
