Fantasy Battle For Tera

Acelynn nods then pulls her pinky away. "Bye Papa." She said with a smile. "Be good, and win this war for me?" She said then hugged him one last time. "I love you." She whispered in his ear.

He nods, hugging her back as he kisses her head one last time, "I love you too, my little Pea." He says, the sadness evident in his voice.

Acelynn looks to Eliana. "Let's go." She said, her face now no longer showing any emotion, this making it see as everything was an act.

Eliana nods, the growing bruise on her face stinging but she ignores it as she follows after Ace. Once they're outside, she shuts the door and whispers to her, "How.. Did you know to do that..?"

Acelynn gets a small smirk. "Just a guess. He looked like he needed a little love, and it was known that soneone called the princess Pea, and I called my dad Papa so. I pit two and two together." She said like it was nothing at all.

Eliana gives her a small smile as she nods in understanding. "Well... Thank you, for doing that... And, I'm sorry you had to see him like that... I can only imagine what that did to your former image of him.."

Acelynn nods. "It was a bit shocking, though I'd never met the man in person, I simply knew of him." She stated, though of the inside she felt a bit at peace.

Eliana nods before letting out a humorless chuckle, "Yeah... Some people say that he destroyed their idea of a decent man, or that he was nothing like they'd imagined... Some actually said they felt lied to after meeting him, now.. But, in truth, back when he was the General he was a great man! He truly was everything the stories say... Of course he's never been too fond of me, but.. He still showed a bit of fatherly love." She smiles softly at the memory of her Daddy tucking her in at night, reading a bedtime story or sitting with her mother while she sang a lullaby...

Acelynn wraps her arms around her. "Hey. Its okay, he'll go back to that man now. Pea talkE to him and set him straight." She said, feeling quite accoplished with herself.

Eliana chuckles halfly, 'Yeah... I'm sure Pea did."

Acelynn nods. "She did, now come on. Got any more stops to make or shall we say good bye to Anonn and leave?" She asked the girl, making sure that she was fully prepared for the journey ahead.

Eliana thinks for a moment, "I think we can probably just go and say goodbye to Annon... I don't have anything more to do."

Eliana nods, easily leading the way down the village pathway to an old shop, looking like it was on the verge of caving in.

Acelynn looks at the shop and frowns. "This.. is his home?" She asked, her voice obviously concerned that the place would just cave in on him. He needs a serious fixer upper...maybe..I can help him.. She thought to herself.

Eliana smiles sadly as she nods, "Yeah.. It's their bakery, as well as their home..." She sighs a bit before walking up and going in despite the "Closed" sign on the door. Instantly, the only thing that can be heard from inside is the pitiful, heartbroken sobs coming from somewhere, likely upstairs. Eliana furrows her eyebrows, "Anno?" She calls out, receiving no answer she runs to the stairs, "Anno?!"

Acelynn instantly gets a hardened look on her face as she follows after Eliana. "Anonn!" She called out once in the house.

Eliana runs up the stairs as fast as she can, soon reaching the living portion. She sees Annon knelt before a bed, the occupant unmoving. As she takes a few steps closer, she realizes the terrible sobs are coming from none other than her childhood friend, her only friend. "A-Anno..?" She says softly, though he doesn't turn to look at her. His only reaction to her call is a shake of his head as he tightens the grip he has on the hand of the elderly woman lain on the straw-filled sheets. It's as she notices not even the woman's chest moving that tears spring to her own eyes, and she drops to her knees beside her friend, "Oh, Annon..." She says, obvious pain in her own voice as she reaches up a shaky hand and tucks a bit of the woman's whitened hair behind her ear.

Acelynn follows behind her then feels the evident death in the room and looks to the woman, Anonn then to Eliana, instantly feeling very out of place. "I..uh..ahem. I'll be waiting down stairs. Anonn I'm very sorry." She said softly then turned around to leave.

For nearly a half an hour Eliana and Annon keep their positions, grieving over the loss of one's mother by blood, the other's mother by heart. However, after the time had passed, they both stand, hug, then turn to descend the stairs once more, hand in hand. Both felt the weight of life upon their shoulders at the moment, and needed the contact to feel kept on the ground. Once they reach the bottom, Eliana gives Annon a weak smile and kisses his cheek before turning to Ace, her voice a bit raw from the tears she'd shed as she speaks, "I apologize for leaving you down here so long... But, if the offer is still available... Annon would like to come with us?"

Acelynn nods. "The offer still stands as long as he is well prepared for the journey ahead?" She asked, trying to avoid the creepy feeling of death and sorrow in the house.

Annon nods, raising his head to reveal his swollen and red eyes, "I'm prepared. I went with El last year, I know what to expect." His voice was unusually strong and steady despite his expression, and the state he'd been in only minutes ago. "I want to go." Eliana squeezes his hand gently, encouragingly.

Acelynn nods. "Then we'd best set off now, else darkness will come soon, and not even the best of warriors can survive Tera in the dark." She said, her voice calm and steady.

Eliana and Annon both nod, still joined by their hands as they walk toward Ace, "I know a place about three miles out we can stay for the night, if you'd rather not travel in dark." Annon offers, grabbing a set of keys off the nearby counter.

Acelynn looks out the window and shakes her head. "I do not wish to remain here any longer." She said sternly and looked forward and turned, stalking toward the door.
