Bastet The Nonsensical

Kid

Magic Eight Ball
Well,I'm Bastet it's a pleasure, but you can call me whatever you like ... as long as it's nothing that has to relate to a fish of any kind . They scare me ...

I am an 19 year old Native American/Philippian/Irish/African American girl ,who hails from the Philippines with a lot of spunk and opinion. I came to the Americas when I was seven and have been hopping states every since, reason English is a second language for me so if I do per say, ruin sentences,or my grammar seems a bit error-ed, I am trying. I speak Tagalog very well, but really I only use it speaking to my family ,as I am practicing my English quite a ton.

I am currently chasing my Bachelor of Arts Degree, I enjoy cream soda and compare it regularly to the level of bliss in a bottle . My hobbies are swimming(Away from fish), fishing(To get back at fish), Writing, and I love to cook(A final humiliation for the fish... arrogant bastards with their fancy gills and and and their waving fins .!) *shakes fist* .

I also enjoy playing the violin ,dancing, acting a tad silly when there is a time for it.I'm a shoulder one can lean one if needed, and not the simple I understand or etc ; I really have the heart to care, and yeah I am a real mush, I know .I'm annoyingly formal most of the time unless I get a true chance to feel comfortable around whomever speaks with me or I speak to,then I will become casual . As you can see I'm quite the talkative little lady ,please forgive my on going ramblings...I tend to get lost in the moment...

I've been lurking for about a day or so and I come to find this place an attraction and look forward to becoming part of your community, which would be why I am in great hopes I'll be welcomed with open arms. Seeing as my passion for writing has over come many hobbies I share smaller passions for, I must say RPdom will be just what I have been looking for.

Now that the awkwardness is out of the way, I shall finish this with a simple hello, and wave of the hand . Nice to join you all have a good day ,darlings. =^.^=

It is 1:21 am as of the writing of this post, I will write you a much more formal introduction in the morning unless others beat me to it when they wake up but I'm sure they will :) !

What type of genres do you typically like? I might be able to recommend a game or two :D !

1. You didn't get back to the fish, you have to get back to the fish. I want to know why the smug bastards deserve to die. In case I'm not clear... finish the blasted story! :D

2. You used whomever correctly, blessings. I'm the grammar nazi on the forum. Other people might think they are but please, they never had my grandmother for a grandmother. I know when to use who and whom. I have zis power (extra points if you get the reference).

3. I approve of the name, I like Bastet as do my cats. Captain is also a cat, and not exactly the fuzzy, furry, purr in your lap kind but the sarcastic, pun-i-licious kind. He will not deny this.

4. What are you studying in school? I am curious.

5. You say that your grammar isn't the best. I'd be more than happy to correct it for you if you wish, free of charge and, I'll even throw in snark free comments too. :)

6. Welcome to RP Dom, I am sure the others will stop by and say 'hey' in good time.

Hidey Ho!

I happen to be in an amazing mood and hopefully can spread it around a bit! This is a really great site and there are some amazing things being done here. You've come at a great time and if you ever need anything at all, don't be afraid to ask!

I also have no shame and tend to invite people to things frequently. So if you like freedom games, check out pencils and crayons. We've got Demon acadamies, Urban Fantasy and Metahuman Sci Fi all Garunteed to knock your socks off over in Pencils and Crayons! We don't bite the much!

Welcome to the forums. Whomever pointed you in the site's direction certainly had the right idea, and I can't think of one person for who I've had to settle any doubts about joining.

Seriously though, it's a great place. I think Captain should be around soon with the formal infodump but for now if you have any questions feel free to drop me a line. Aside from that, feel free to browse and get a feel for the games. Pencils is pretty cool, and there are some other fun games out there that are nifty as well.

The Captain is asleep at this current moment and time and he had better remain asleep for a few more hours because he's not been sleeping enough. Humph. Not that I worry about his lack of sleep or anything.

@Cap: I love you. :)

@The Dark Wizard : It is an honor to make your acquaintance , on another note it is quite alright I have the habit of being a night owl and am sure typing wouldn't be in ones best interest at a time like that.

As for genres, I am more adapt to Dark, modern, eye-for-an-eye fantasy,Sci Fi Strange Species busting type kid. I like to mock it! But those are normally what I can drink in. Give me a bit of Horror with twists and betrayals, and you have yourself a dedicated Rper. I do dabble in a bit of romance, though I never want a to be all about romance. If the path goes in that direction, I will follow it but I definitely run towards the bigger picture rather than intimacy or fluff..Supernatural, angst, adventure, and drama are the genres that I am most content with.

Sorry I write so much. I know it is taxing.

@ EhemyGirl : Oh..I don't even know how to continue telling you about those googly eyed mouth breathers...,<--- Well I think I may have been too much of a coward as a child, when my mother brought three betta fish in the house. Now she knew I would get curious and inspect them, I foolishly sat their small aquariums near on another and lifted the tops off and they jumped wildly out of their aquariums. I thought they were attempting to attack me but they were really going for one another, of course I didn't know about that.

xD

The cruel thing is my mom taped the whole thing and never told me until I turned nine when she brought in more of her precious gilled buddies which consisted of some Piranha. Too bad she told me after I freaked out crying like a brat, and had plenty nightmares to last me some years. Since then I do believe I have a small place in my child like mind that fish are scary and out to get me, but they are good to eat. Not much of a story but...that did it for me.

I appreciate you took the time out to notice, I have been studying to make my grammar much better than it used to be. In honesty you are fortunate to have learned from your grandmother. =]

Bastet is my middle name , which is strange and could also be my reason for love cats so much.

O.o Captain sound pretty awesome ,hopefully I will get to meet him.

I will be Majoring in Music Studies >.<

It would be fantastic to have some help, if it wouldn't be too much trouble.

@ Frixz :It is a pleasure, I'm glad your in a good mood. I am sure you will see me ,possibly, all over Pencils and Crayons

xD It has some interest piquing areas from the sound of it.

@ Doctor Caligori : I agree this is such a lovely place and I will direct my questions to any of the suggested persons. Browsing is exactly how I found this splendid forum.I hope we will see one another around the forum.

It was such an honor to meet you all, I love the friendliness you have shown me. Thank you.

Oh, I learned grammar from my mother who learned it from her mother who learned it from her mother so and and so forth. And when I have children they'll learn it from me because, yeah. :)

Welcome. Cats and proper grammar are two of my favourite things, somewhere down the line from monsters and chocolate.

Since you mentioned a fondness for dark fantasy (though I may have misconstrued your post, and you in fact prefer specifically modern, dark fantasy in the vein of World of Darkness), you may be interested in looking over some of my games - though they come front-loaded with a lot of reading and I rarely employ free-form, so you may not wish to tax yourself. If you do, however, you're welcome to give 'em a try.

Pleased to make your acquaintance, Grey.Oh, you have perfectly understood. I surely shall take a gander and I do not mind the reading it's a pleasure to gaze upon others work. I thank you for the suggestion I am going to be taking a look at your works and give them a try I am ready to begin writing away if you will have me. ^^
