He however does not shed a tear for a fallen one, for it would show weakness. But internally he is heartbroken by tragedy. He is mature but a dreamer. He strives to make the world an ideal place with as little conflict as possible, but isn't afraid to get his hands dirty to purge what he believes to be evil.
He is a procrastinator with his school work and isn't very interested overall with the idea of hard academic work. Despite this he is a good student because of his inherit intelligence, and his desire for staying in the academy with his fellow piers. He tries to go to sleep early and tends to encourage his friends to go to sleep sooner. He hates being tired during daylight hours, for it will make him weaker when he's needed. Because of him liking sleep to have more energy... he falls asleep very fast when there's nothing to do, and it's safe to do so.
Hobbies are drawing, writing, sports and exercising. He doesn't share his writing with others, but he openly allows his piers to view his drawings if they so desire. He is good at every sport he plays, primarily because of his speed. Despite being underweight he is very quick, agile, and physically strong especially in his lower body and back.
Quirks: He tends to tap his desk with rhythm when bored and lost in thought.

Relatives: 6 deceased siblings and dead parents.
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Background: He was raised in a secluded mountainside house northward of Kushiro Japan, but his family's origin is English. He was raised alongside 6 siblings, two sisters and 4 brothers. He was the the youngest besides his little brother who was 1 year younger than him. His little brother Jaune was his best friend growing up. Two years ago however his secluded house was attacked by an unidentified assailant. Both his parents were killed. The children, including himself, were all placed into comas and were not supposed to recover. Defying the odds, Cas managed to wake up, but the rest of his siblings did not. Weeks later his siblings pulses began to fade one by one. He had no choice but to watch all of them die right before his eyes.
Cas's parents nurtured their children into warriors, but never explained to them why. They taught their children multiple fighting styles and how to use every melee weapon imaginable. Cas however wasn't as interested in combat as his other siblings, and focused more on how to survive. His parents noticing this decided he was not fit to be a fighter, and made sure he was fast enough to run away if danger came lurking. Training day and night he developed a massive pool of stamina and inner will that he took with him to the present. However, during his youth he was constantly in the shadow of his elder siblings from his parents point of view. This made him feel like his only friend was the one sibling he was stronger than, his little brother.
He loved his little brother Jaune very much and decided that no matter what he was going to protect him. Although his parents didn't focus much on combat for Cas in particular, he did spar daily with his little brother, which gave him sufficient swordplay abilities, which was Jaune's bread and butter. However their fighting abilities were ineffective when the “invader” came. When he awoke from his coma in a hospital in Kushiro he tried to explain what happened to the doctors and the press, but everyone thought he was crazy... except one man. The principal of the academy recognized some of the details of his story and rushed to the hospital to see the boy. The principal was also interested in how the boy recovered from such a powerful coma. The principal asked the boy if he was interested in revenge versus the “invader”. The boy nodded without hesitation with tears in his eyes. Upon seeing this the principal took the boy with him to the academy on a full scholarship as the boy had nowhere else to go.
He was slow opening up to people his first year enrolled, but after 2 years of training and helping others, he managed to blend in with the crowd at the academy. Having no strong friendships at the school he is able to treat others without bias or preference, which allows him to settle conflicts and help his piers when necessary. He however being a loner primarily, does not need to intervene often and because of this he has gotten by in the academy with little incidents. However, everyone knows his name because of his reputation of declining leadership roles on sports teams that he prospers on.
Other Details: He thinks that he is the only student in the school that knows about the “invader” (which was a phantom.) His desire in seeking revenge on the phantom is what drives him to become the strongest warrior he can be.
Power: His body has a self healing ability that far surpasses a normal human being's. Upon arriving to the academy his innate healing ability became even stronger because of the barrier. The ability however takes considerable amount of energy. Because of this, rest is a priority for the boy. Like a normal human being can create scabs that stops blood flowing out and rest gets rid of headaches over time, his body heals from these instantly. As well as this however, he can even grow back limbs, and heal his own organs if damaged. He does not know the full extent to his ability, especially since he has arrived at the academy, but he knows that he recovers from injury far faster than he's supposed to. This power of his is what awoke him from the coma he was placed in when his family was attacked, and the principal knows this. He however can't control his healing power. Whenever his body is hurt, it will heal itself no matter how small the injury. The smaller the injury, the faster it heals, but the healing power consumes large amounts of energy nonetheless. As his energy is depleted, the slower he will get healed, but his energy is still depleted by the same margin. The only thing his body cannot heal is his energy, and if that is depleted he will go into a coma until his body is fully rested. If he is attacked when out of energy however, he will be unable to heal himself, and can die. He in the present does not know that he can use this power to heal others as well using the same amount of energy per person healed.
-Skills:
Advanced in all melee weapon combat and duel wielding. His specialty is swordplay.
Knows how to use firearms and range weapons such as bows with deadly precision.
Speed of an Olympic sprinter, very agile, and has a large stamina pool.
Very coordinated with accurate combat predictions and a strong intuition.
-Weaknesses:
Puts others before himself. Normally this is a good trait, but even if his life is needed in order to win a battle, he'll put himself in harms way to protect another.
His self healing power drains a lot of his energy. If his opponent hits him multiple times (even if the damage merely scratches him) he will run out of energy quickly and eventually become helpless. His biggest strength is also his hamartia.
Weapon: A 86% Magnesium allow, 14% silicon carbide sword that his brother used to spar against him with when they were growing up. The sword is strong enough to cut through just about anything, if enough force is applied. He kept it as the only keepsake of his family, but began using it for himself for it's efficiency and lightweight. He keeps this in his room.
