Personality: Detective schmidt is a Stern and serious man who seems to drip with sarcasm. He is a will fueled man who trusts his gut feeling above all else. He is also typically respectful of others but makes it known that respect is earned not Given freely. He tends to be his own toughest critic, often seeking solitude rather than social interaction. However when it comes down to it he is a goodhearted and moral man who has seen the darkest side of humanity but somehow manages to keep his faith in them.

Backstory: Easily one of the worlds most famous detectives, Richard Schmidt had dreamed of being a policeman since he was a little boy. He managed to make his dream come true becoming a police officer at age 20. He spent at least ten years as a common officer until he took three shots to his chest and at his wife's urging took a "less dangerous" job as a private detective. It was in this seat that he managed to make a name for himself solving long standing cold cases and eventually making global headlines when he managed to bring a several century old assassin organization into the light, Bringing a supernatural serial killer known as the Heartbreaker to justice, and gunning down a would be presidential assassin. However his dangerous lifestyle finally caught up to him when the heartbreaker escaped prison and managed to find Schmidt's Family. Though he managed to save his wife and daughter by killing the Escaped murderer the damage was done his wife no longer felt safe and knew he wouldn't stop what he saw as a divine calling to justice. So she left him 6 years ago, in response he transferred to Baja Beach where the insane supernatural happenings that fall inti his lap have kept him busy as all hell.

Personality: Sogen is Perhaps the most apathetic being in the entire town. He spends most of his time on the beach sporting swim trunks, flip flops, and a Hawaiian shirt and God help any who attempt to disturb this state of relaxation. He has a very poor sense of justice and offers no remorse for anything he does. To make matters worse he is a relatively poor judge of character willing to drink with the Brightest of lights and the darkest of Shadows. However it is said that there are none more knowledgeable about the town.


Backstory: Sogen has spent the past 48 years in the town of Baja beach. In all that time he has not aged a day, he has not worked an hour, and he has not done a single productive thing for anyone. Despite this none seem to be willing to approach him save for Detective Schmidt. He is widely regarded as the towns most powerful being despite never making the claim himself. Nor ever being seen in conflict to substantiate the Rumor.

Personality:
Kypher is a pessimistic narcissist; he rarely thinks the best of anyone or anything and expects the worse, but thinks very highly of himself. Perhaps quite a flaw, his arrogance often bleeds over into sloth as he grows too lazy to bother himself with tasks that he perceives as beneath him. Kypher usually only thinks of himself and is not particularly easy to get along with, however he is resourceful and reliable when things come down to it. He doesn't respect many and prefers to believe in his own ability rather than rely on others. Kypher can often become hotblooded and rush into action rashly, often with dire consequences.

Personality: With age comes wisdom and Mrs. Zimmer has plenty of both. She is incredibly patient and always remains calm. She was one of the first to call the town home and as such is fiercely protective of the town and its citizens. However she is a bargainer by nature and while she is willing to help nearly anyone with good intentions, she will never do so without gaining something herself. Just be sure when dealing with her that you watch the conditions carefully she is a witch after all.

Backstory: Mrs. Zimmer arrived here with her husband 47 years ago and promptly opened up the Leaky Faucet, her local pub. However it is no mystery that Mrs. Zimmer is a witch, nor is it a mystery that she will often trade magical items and potions for work done on her behalf. She has never told anyone about her life before coming to Baja beach and when pressed on it she will often say she was a pub owner but it is obviously a lie. The truth however is far less obvious.

Personality: Frank is one of the most stoic men the town has seen. His demeanor never seems to go beyond his bored expressionless face. He is rude and often times aggressive when confronted on it. However he is not all bad, he like his wife has a strong urge to defend the town and most of its denizens. It is pretty common knowledge that Detective Richard Schmidt is franks least favorite human being.

Backstory: Frank arrived at the town the same time his wife did and promptly gained a job working in the top secret Orion facility due to connections with the United states government. He is even more secretive than Mrs. Zimmer about his history opting to outright ignore questions to know his past. The paranoia surrounding the man is further reinforced by his disappearing into the arbor forest each night only to return at noon the next day. Furthermore he seems to hold high levels of animosity towards normal humans. However he will tolerate them so long as they don't bother him.

Personality: Sweet but ready to throw a punch, Lizzie doesn't really like nonsense from people. If someone starts a fight, she wants to be the one to end it. If someone starts an argument with her, they better be ready to have the little firebrand dig her heels in unless they have definite proof she's wrong. She's generally a rather optimistic individual, one who wants to cheer people up, but also isn't afraid to tell them if they're being stupid.

Backstory: Lizzie doesn't really think she's had a bad upbringing. Rather to the contrary, she feels like her life turned out for the better. She was saved from quite the horrendous situation when her Father killed her Mother. She was young, so she doesn't remember much of the event, but after that, her grandfather became the one who looked after her along with her uncle. For most of her life so far, her grandfather raised her, but when he died, she ended up in the custody of her uncle on her mom's side. Her uncle continued to raise her, not only an amazing stand-in dad, as she was already quite close to him, but also an incredibly interesting person. He's made sure to teach her the ropes of her Mother's bloodline. So... really, she's got the best of both worlds. Riches on the one hand and magic on the other.

Powers: (Not yet but soon) Bison Totem - "The wielder of the Bison totem gains immense superhuman strength, durability, and stamina not to mention a powerful resistance to mental manipulations. In the armored form the bison gains a thick chestplate, one armored sleeve akin to a gladiator, greaves, and an indestructible hammer which weighs as much as the bisons max strength but presents no burden to the user this is of course in addition to the 100x multiplier to the base powers."

Personality: Yuri is a strange being obsessed with morality and "the way of things." But his passion is finding the special cases. He loves humanity for all their good and bad traits and is hard pressed to act against them. However as a Angel he does have a strong sense of justice and keeps his school free of crime with nigh omniscient observation. He usually stays out of the way of his students but he will on rare occasions take a personal interest in their development.

Backstory: Yuri Came to Baja 50 years ago and Started up Corner street university almost immediately. Since then he has gathered students and teachers from all across the world, hand picking those who had some form of abnormal capabilities. Where he trains them in the mystic arts and pays to have instructors brought in from all over the world to train then in whatever they could possibly hope to learn. He is one of the members of the city council and has helped to defend the town for as long as he has been there. It is rumored that he is the very same being mentioned in the Holy Bible, the one who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah Uriel. However that rumor has yet to be confirmed.

Personality: David isn't anything special, he's what you'd expect from someone his age, that has lived how he has. He's disillusioned, he's nonchalant, stone-faced, a little glum and far, far too annoying for anyone to deal with for longer than an hour. Admittedly, with a tongue as sharp as his, he always has a weapon up his sleeve to defend himself, just not one of any real use in a battle of brawn.

Backstory: College Student by day, friendly neighbourhood fast-food worker by night, David's had an uneventful life, at least, as uneventful as you could expect for someone who's grown up in the town of Baja.

The second son of a family obsessed with the supernatural that moved to Baja the moment they heard it had surfaced. Naturally, with his two parents obsessed with the paranormal oddities that surround, and inhabit the town, David never developed a prejudice toward those his family loved so dearly; though he certainly didn't develop their same affinity and interest in them. Instead, with the fantastical being a commonplace factor of his life, he looks upon most critters, monsters and magical creatures as someone would look upon a man that is much stronger than them, with a mix of awe, disdain and worry.

There isn't all that much that makes David notable, besides a few flings that ended with his clothes either on fire, or him being haunted for a few months, and one incident with an eldritch pug demon, there's nothing that would grant the boy any renown. Nor anything that makes him stand out.

She can be childish and easily angered, and loves to go out when it's nice and sunny. Though she looks sweet, she can be hard to deal with. Despite her sporty nature, Wendy is actually very girly and self-conscious. She has a large collection of stuffed animals and dolls, and loves to shop, although she tends to squander her money and usually doesn't have any when she really needs it. Deep down she can be sensitive, and she hates arguing with friends or seeing someone in pain above all else. Wendy also has a great sense of justice and she likes helping people. She hates that innocent people get hurt for things they had nothing to do with.

Backstory:
Wendy grew up a pretty normal life. She lived with her grandmother, Older brother, and older sister. Her parents had died in a tragic accident so that let the grandma to raise them. Though the lost of her parents was tragic she still had good child hood thanks to her family. They worked and lived on a farm it was just kind of known they would always be there to run it. But Wendy had different plans. She wanted move and go to college not say on a farm for the rest of her life so she left home. She ended up deciding to come to Baja. A strange town with a lot of crazy rumor behind it. Curious she decided to move there and she's now just moving in to her new apartment.

Personality: Liam is a firm but fair and very logical man. He is very adaptive often adjusting to the situation he is kind when it is needed and finds no mercy where there is none earned. He is wise beyond his years and holds many secrets, yet is trustworthy enough that he continues to collect more. Predictable as the man may be his consistency is admirable to most and none in Baja have quarrel with him.

Backstory: Liam is a man who has seen much of the world and aims to see it all. He always has been such which given his families history has proven to be a fulfilling goal. The Thorbiorn family has long sense been a family of magical scholars, sages, and knights. Liam filled those shoes well. As the eldest child of the Thorbiorn line in his generation he was tasked with learning all of his families secrets. He vigorously studies the magic tomes, fighting styles and philosophies of his ancestors. Accumulating in him becoming the worlds leading wizard in the school of alteration by the time he was twenty years old, even going so far as to invent his own patented spells. The prodigy then set his sights on history meeting Daryl Corrain and accompanying the man on many journeys. Eventually the two were inseparable and then they were family as Liams Sister married Daryls Son. However when tragedy struck and his sister was killed the two men grew distant and shortly afterwards Daryl died. Blaming himself for the entire tragic situation he vowed to turn his niece into a shining redeemer of both the Corráin and Thorbiorn Family names.

≡Personality: First word that comes to mind when talking about this man is definitely "unrestricted", and in every sense as well. While reserved, somewhat, he's eager to let folks know of his position on certain subjects, his knack for acting selfishly surprisingly never interfering with his compatibility and efficiency towards teamwork. He's powerful, and has a rich pile of confidence and willpower to back it up, carrying himself with a feeling of superiority not to belittle others, but to assert himself. Viege loves the crew mentality, believing strongly in the "one-for-all and all-for-one" deal, though the possibility of gaining his trust, and to that extent no less... is at best, questionable.

Freelance is his style by definition, and while competent in following orders, taking suggestions, and overall showing respect where its due, he always shows that flare of individuality. Stealing isn't beneath him, and even if rare, he will pull a trick or two if it harmlessly helps him, or at least satisfies the needs of another he cares at least, a little about. He's teetering over the pit of shame, one code away from being on the negative side of morality; often putting himself in the grey area, despite aiming for justice. ...or trying to anyway.

≡Backstory: London, the place he unintentionally appeared in after being desperately assisted out of his now destroyed home country. Viege was thirteen when it all went down; the tribe he was born into finally making a spiritual connection with their false idol, forming a union with a little more than what they believed in. Legend of the Phantom Cat. Maybe you've heard of the vanishing state? Black Minister of the unholy Opus? Or, something similar and far-out. Long story short, what was suppose to be a meeting between the tribal folk and their Guardian God, became a feast for daemonic spirits and an onslaught for those unfortunately present. It was a long perilous night, lasting through the days of others outside the accursed grounds of the island. Viege did not miss the faces of his people being torn to pieces or possessed and spiritually wrecked in the most grueling way. He'd have put that past behind him, the one responsible for his memory-less departure an amateurish Witch, who at the time figured it best to magically constrain all thought processes remotely related to the happenings at the time.

Five years zoomed by, the little lad now a grown lad, whom made his living at the feet of a well-heeled family and their inquisitive daughter. Viege was a butler, and while it was tough, he quickly learned the mannerisms, and fashion of not only his workplace but England as a whole. Keeping pace was a challenge at first, the more experienced servants of the Macklewell Household giving him the run-around nearly every time, but it was thanks to this that he did his job so well; attending every event, catering to every need, fulfilling any requests within his power, heck, he even got to know the individuals of the household personally, to the point that the softhearted head herself considered him a son, allowing him as much as the usage of their family name. In fact, the fondness they held for him was due not to the image he portrayed as a butler, but that brandishing of self he did in their presences, leaving an honest impression with them all.

Lead by the nose, the young master got Viege to go to Baja in hopes he could confirm her interests and maybe even grant the go ahead for her to visit one day. This trip from London at the curious girl's expense was made a year ago. Now, Viege spends his time doing as he was asked, the objective a result of him coming to an amazing place.

≡Powers: Bear Totem- The bear totem grants the user the ability to store vast amounts of energy by ingesting large quantities of food. The stored energy can then be unleashed as point counters to almost any form of attack, by using this they can apply the same amount of energy as was applied to them effectively negating the damage altogether. In their armored form the bear gains a heavy suit of full plate armor which allows their energy absorption to be applied to outside sources of energy such as a punch or an explosion. This stored energy can be expended via striking with his weighted bear claw shaped flail heads attached by an magically extending chain. This is accompanied by the 100 fold armor multiplier.

Personality: Cute, aloof, and very speedy, little Aztri is quite the friendly dragon. She wants to make friends with practically everyone, even people she probably shouldn't. She can get quite protective as well, however. She wouldn't mind hurting someone to keep one of her good friends safe. Aztri really enjoys food, especially meat, but one of her favorite human foods is a sub sandwich.

Backstory: Aztri doesn't really remember much about how she ended up in town, but she knows she's really new to it! She came because she felt like she needed to and so she followed that need, same as she follows hunger. She remembers her egg, but there weren't any adult dragons around to help raise her. Luckily, she's fearsome... and also small game is pretty easy to catch when you're as fast as she is. So, now she's in town, looking for entertainment, food, and whatever is making her want to be there.

Powers: Flight, tough scales, and magic, to put it simply, as well as simple shapeshifting. She manipulates and simulates the different elements and types of magic weaker than a specialist would, but she can run the gambit of the different kinds of magic and elements.
