Backrounds and Fae Blooded

Ok, yet another of the Blooded qustions, Fae Blooded and backrounds....


Now if a Fae Blooded grew up mostly in creation and their mortal parents then the normal backrounds make perfect sense for one, but what about those who grew up among their Fae Parents? could they also weild Wyld Artfacts in addition or Creation born ones? could they have the Glossmer rather then resources? or even Retinue or Freehold? (retinue being who their parent assignes to help with what ever tas, and Freehold meaning a room at daddy/mommys Home)

I find it highly unlikely that any of the Fair Folk would view a mortal child as anything more than a plaything.


Of course, as the Fair Folk tend to think of anything and anyone as just a plaything, this may not be as big a problem as first it seems.


It's an interesting idea. And my general rule of thumb in Exalted is that any question beginging "Would it be possible to do this?" is answered "Yes." With, of course, the priviso that you can make it interesting.

If said Fae-Blood grew up in or around a Court, it should use the Fair Folk backgrounds. That being said, there are a few suggested modifications I'd like to make:


1) Graces


 They should be bought up from zero, instead of being automatic; it's up to you whether to use Common or Noble costs (Common has a lower Major Grace cost). Heart Grace is automatically at 1, natch.


2) New/Expanded Backgrounds


 There should be a cap on Artifact, Familiar, Freehold, Gossamer, and Retinue--2 or 3, depending on your campaign. Birth should not be allowed (any such bonuses should be from Inheritance).
