Things I adore
realistic characters that have both strengths and weaknesses, character development, plotting, platonic relationships, slow burn romance, modern/realistic settings (possibly with some fantasy/supernatural elements thrown in), apocalyptic settings (zombies, wars, natural disasters etc.), horror & gore, murder mysteries, crime, drama, opposites attract (quiet/talkative, openly gay/closeted, rich/poor etc.)
I am not interested in
abuser/victim 'romance', active/passive, dominant/submissive, seme/uke, smut, doubling, romance focused plots, instant romance, pure slice of life, anime pictures
Original / Apocalyptic / Survival / Horror
Underlined is the role I prefer but I'll always do either.

Survivor / Survivor from a rival group
Kill, or be killed?
Human survivor / Android (D:BH inspired)
Basically looking for a duo where one character is physically weak and mentally strong, while the other character would be the exact opposite of that. The android would have an almost immortal body, but their mind would struggle breaking any rules programmed in their system (ex. using violence against threatening people).
Experienced female survivor / Inexperienced noob male (M/F only, obviously xD)
Swap those usual gender roles around.
Survivor who owns a dog / Survivor who fears dogs more than zombies
A cadaver dog can detect a scent from a mile away or so. Name a better tool for dodging rotten, walking corpses.
Sociopathic character / ??? *CRAVING*
A character with low morals and selfish goals, taking advantage of a chaotic situation (the beginning of a zombie outbreak, for example), prepared to get rid of any obstacles without feeling remorse. So instead of your usual 'good hero trope', I'd rather try writing an 'evil villain'. Perhaps they could be a prisoner that takes their chance to escape with another prisoner or by taking someone as their temporary hostage. Either way, the character they are paired up with needs to have some guts – I won't do any kind of abuser/victim romance.
Killer haunted by their victim / ???
A victim that keeps reappearing before their killer no matter how many times they are killed. The victim could be zombie-like, in which case this could become a town wide zombie outbreak – or, it could be a ghost. The killer could have been partnered up with someone to begin with, or they could seek help from someone, get caught or willingly turn themselves in. Either way, there are a lot of options for the other character.

Bolded series are the ones I am willing to play canons for, followed by the names of canons I'd particularly love to play as. I'm OC & crossover friendly! I play males 99% of the time, but I can play females too. In fact I am positively surprised if I am asked to play a female. xD
Please keep in mind that I don't like doubling! I can play multiple side characters though, and I'll consider doubling if the plot requires us to have four major characters. I will not double for the sake of having fair(?!) romantic couples.
