"A" was no foreign concept for Caleb. After being with Hannah for a few years he understood what lengths "A" went to just to get what he or she wants. It seemed like the blackmailer was relentless, and stopped at no bounds to torture the four liars. In his life, Caleb had faced multiple obstacle courses that involved pain and torture.. but nothing ever seemed this bad. Even though he wasn't a primary target, he still felt the conflict "A" had placed on the girls. If he could, Caleb would have hunted down "A" and made sure he or she got some of their own medicine.

Unfortunately, life didn't always play by the rules. The amount of blackmail and messages from "A" had doubled within the past month, and they showed no signs of slowing down. The brunette sighed, his eyes falling on a small table in the middle of Hannah's house. Mrs. Marin wasn't there, and Hannah wasn't due back for another ten minutes.


Luckily, he had used the time she provided (when she went to the mall) he was able to set up and prepare a small dinner for her. It wasn't much since he couldn't really afford a 'fancy' dinner for Hannah. It still had a two course meal- Spaghetti and salad- laid out. He had spent the past hour making the pasta and preparing the salad for them. On the spaghetti, he took time to place parsley around the edges and a bit of Parmesan cheese. Everything had to go perfect. Caleb knew Hannah was under a lot of stress, and he prayed that this dinner would loosen her up a bit so they could spend some quality time together.


Caleb Rivers paced around the kitchen a little, peaking out the window in hopes that Hannah would pull into driveway. He anxiously adjusted the near-perfect silverware on the table. It seemed as if he was stressing about not making this good enough and making Hannah stress. It just seemed like one never-ending wormhole of stress.


C'mon Hannah... hurry up.... He thought, nearly jumping with excitement as he heard the sound of a car pulling into the Marin's smooth driveway. Caleb discarded the napkins and ran to the door.

Hannah sighed a little as she sat inside a cafe at the mall. She just needed some time to think about everything that was going on. A's latest plan was making her feel sick. The last thing she wanted to do was split up with Caleb because she loved him and the thought of not having him in her life scared her a little. He was such a big part of her life now. Although she knew that she had to do as A said because she was not under any circumstance let A get his or her hands on Caleb. They would have to get through her first. The only thing she couldn't figure out is how she would tell him. It was going to be a hard thing to do. Hannah finished he coffee and stood, putting her bag over her shoulder as she did so. She exited the cafe and had a quick wander around the shopping centre before heading back to her car, ready to head home. Once she was at her car she unlocked the door and drove home, her mind full of all of the things that might happen if she broke up with Caleb as well as what would happen if she didn't break up with him. She had no idea what A would do and that frightened her a lot. Once she was home she parked before heading inside. She could smell the pasta and frowned a little, did her mum make dinner or something? Hannah dropped her bag at the bottom of the stairs and headed into the kitchen and her eyes widened. Caleb had made dinner for her and made it look all romantic. She should have been happy but it made her feel sick to her stomach. How was she meant to break up with him now? "Caleb what is this?" She asked as she looked around, a small smile on her face. She wanted to be happy and enjoy this but all she could think about was the fact she had to break up with him.

Caleb smiled, offering to help her with her bags. He placed them in a safe area before turning back to Hannah with a grin. He motioned to the table as he went to the fridge. "What do you mean 'what is this'? It's dinner of course! Our three year anniversary is coming up! Take this as a little sneak peak into what's expected to come!" He grinned, proud of himself for being able to create such of a master piece. Caleb walked over and turned off the kitchen light, allowing the lit candles to become the main source of light. "What do you think?"

The brunette walked over to the cabinet and opened the door, taking out a fresh bottle of whiskey. Caleb pulled out two wine cups and laid them out on the table. He popped open the top with a corkscrew that he placed to the side. The boy looked up at Hannah, his eyes finally moving away from the fresh food he had prepared and into her eyes. Instantly the smile wiped itself off of Caleb's face when he noticed that something was wrong. Hannah was acting as if something was bothering her. He knew her worried face all too well.


"Hannah..." He walked over to her and cupped her face in his hands. His dark eyes focused on her, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "Is it something to do with..." Caleb glanced around the kitchen as if he was afraid that someone was in there with them. "Does it... does it have to do with 'A' somehow?" He asked her with an arched eyebrow. Caleb swore that if "A" tried to mess up their night, he would personally call it upon himself to screw with "A" back.


As he awaited an answer, Rivers reached over and sat down in one of the chairs he had put out for them at the table. "Tell me the truth, Hannah. Is 'A' harassing you again?" He knew that if she told him that it did, he still wouldn't have the faintest idea what the blackmail would be about. 'A' was capable of anything, honestly. That fact right there scared him a lot more than he would ever want to admit.


I swear... if A has anything to do with this... I will make it my own personal responsibility to make sure they suffer for their actions.

Hannah sighed at how sweet Caleb was being. This just made things much harder because it made her love him even more and breaking up with him was the last thing she wanted to do. It also made her angry that she was going to have to make it seem like she really did want to break up with him because A didn't want Caleb to know that it was A, not Hannah making her break up with him. When he cupped her face in his hands her eyes fluttered shut and she took a deep breath. She was just going to have to do it. It would hurt her and it would hurt him but she had to protect him. She wouldn't let A kidnap him. She pulled away from him and shook her head "Nope Caleb. Does A have to be what's on my mind all the time? No. It doesn't. Maybe I'm just feeling how I'm feeling for once," she snapped as she walked over to the glasses and the whiskey and poured herself a glass. She took a big sip and sighed. She needed the liquid courage. "Caleb I'm not happy anymore. As in I'm not happy with you. I don't want to and can't do this anymore. It's too much. Thanks for the fancy dinner but you should go because we are done," She said, as looked everywhere but at him. She was trying her hardest not to explode and tell him thah it was all bull shit and that really she was madly in love with him and didn't want to lose him. Ever. Taking a deep breath she walked over to where his bag was "Have a nice life, Caleb." She said as she picked it up and shoved it in his hands before she walked over to the kitchen window and looked out, trying to forget that he was still there. She hated this. She hated A. She hated that she had to hurt someone she loved more than anything.

Caleb watched as she sighed and he let out a noise of relief when she said that "A" wasn't on her mind. Good. Now we can have a nice dinner. He smiled but frowned instantly when she said that she wasn't happy. Instantly all the joy from his face drained when she went on with her sentence. He was in shock, staring at her as she dumped him. No... No... Hannah... "Wait... Hannah.... are you alright? You can't just say that we're done... we've been through so much... and we've stuck together. Remember? It was us against the world."

The brunette felt a rush of emotions fill him as she planted his bag back into his own hands, pushing him out of the kitchen. No.. This can't be it.... Why? Did I do something wrong? Was I not supportive enough? "What - what happened? You can't be serious...." He turned away from her, tears threatening to fall from his eyes. Caleb rubbed his forehead before turning back with a small frown. "Why?"




He glanced at the table, taking in the wasted food. The worst part was that it looked so good. No, that wasn't the worst part. Losing Hannah was the worst part. He stared at her in shock, before turning around and slowly advancing towards the door. Caleb put his hand on the knob about to leave when he turned around to look at Hannah. She was staring at the window, clearly upset about it. "Have a good life, Hannah." The boy said quickly, turning the doorknob and escaping outside of the door. He trotted down the walkway and down the driveway to his car that was parked on the other side of Hannah's.

Caleb wasn't sure where he was heading, but he walked into the car, looking up at the house. I might never see this house again... all the memories of us will be erased... and we'll only be a distant memory. He thought for a second before deciding to go to Spencer's house where Toby surely was. Rivers stuck his key into the hole, starting up the car as it growled to live.


Tears started to flow down his face as he thought about Hannah and him being over. Caleb waiting for countless minutes in the car in the driving way, with slim hope that she would come out once more and tell him that she loved him. In his head, he reeled back every memory that he could possibly muster. He tried to pin point the very moment where Hannah started to loose the love. That was, if she ever loved him in the first place. In the back of his head, he couldn't help but wonder if "A" had helped influence her decision. This wasn't like Hannah, but then again.. how much did he really know Hannah considering that she had just done something that he never would have thought she would do.


Little did Caleb know that Hannah was in a greater pain, loving him with all of her heart.

Hannah sighed as Caleb began to question her on why she was breaking up with him and that it was them against the world. Her heart felt like it was being ripped out her chest and stamped on by the heaviest thing in the world and she just wished she could be someone else in that moment because she could tell how hurt Caleb was and she hated it. She heated that she was the one that was causing him pain and upset. It made her angry at A and she wanted to do something. She wanted to make A pay but she knew if she did that than A would probably do something much, much worse. Hannah huffed, trying to keep up her annoyed manner "The reason doesn't matter Caleb and yes we can be over. I don't want to be with you and that is that. You should go." She said as she downed the rest of the whiskey, welcoming the burning sensation she got as she drank it. When he told her to have a good life and she heard the door click shut she burst into tears, the tears coming down faster than she had ever felt before. Her heart shattered because she had hurt the only man she had ever really, truly loved and she had a feeling that they might not end up back together and that was the worst thought of all. Hannah walked up to her room and sat on the edge of her bed, peering out of the window and watching as he sat there. She walked closer and stood, watching him, feeling even more sick when she picked up on the fact that there were tears falling down his face. "I love you." She said quietly, stepping away from the window as she sat on her bed and looked at the wall, not knowing what to do with herself now.

'I don't want to be with you and that is that.' The words rung in his head, as Caleb wasn't able to think of what he had done to make her feel that way. He hastily rubbed his tears away, not wanting to think or live what his mind had been playing. He bit his lip, wiping away all of his tears. I love you Hanna. No. This can't be the end. It can't be. No. He looked back at the house before starting the engine. Caleb slowly pulled out of her driveway, his tear-stained eyes not daring to leave the house. I have to win her back. He mentally vowed that he would get her something she couldn't deny. Maybe if he reminded her of their love she would realize that she didn't want to leave him.

Goodbye, Hanna. Caleb thought as he started to drive down her road. He tried to think of something that they always shared. It was running out of time when an idea finally hit him. Caleb started on his way to the mall, glancing down at the pocket his wallet was in. He ran a hand through his hair before looking up and taking the highway. After what seemed like forever, he finally got off at the right exit and pulled into the Rosewood mall. Caleb found a good parking spot and crawled out of the car, shutting the door behind him. He swung his keys on his pinkie finger, hitting the lock button behind him.


Caleb felt the gravel crunch beneath his shoes. The boy bit his lip as his speed accelerated and he ran to the front entrance of the shopping mall. A group of brunette girls held the door open for him as Caleb slipped in. Think Caleb, think.





The boy rode down a set of escalators, looking up to find Hanna's favorite store. Almost upon entry he felt his pockets get heavier as he looked at the prices of some of the items. With a tiny bit of hesitation, he pulled out his brown and ripping wallet to look inside. Fortunately, there was $100 in his wallet. He pulled out two twenties and a ten. The boy's eyes scanned up and down the isles until he found the jewelry section. Caleb's hand tapped against the glass without thought as he tried to decide which necklace to get Hanna.


Almost immediately, his eyes fell on a necklace that had the diamond infinity logo on it. He knew that was the one he wanted to get her. Caleb wanted to represent their love as an infinity that would never break. But he frowned when he saw the price. $75! It was more than half of his money. No, it was exactly 3/4 of the money he had in his wallet. It would cost a lot, but he was wiling to buy it if it helped increase the odds of having Hanna take him back.


"This one, please." Caleb told the clerk, pointing down at the necklace. The man at the register nodded and opened the glass door to pull it out. He got a small yet beautiful box out and placed the necklace in the middle.


"Is this for someone special?" The clerk asked Caleb, as the boy paid for the jewelry. Caleb smiled sadly, tears threatening to attack his eyes but he nodded in response.


"You have no idea how special this person is to me."

Hannah stood from her bed and wiped her eyes. She didn't know what to do with herself. All she wanted to do was to be with Caleb, eating the dinner he made and then cuddling up outside under the stars later on when it got dark because it was warm enough out to do so and they would just talk, stealing kisses now and again. She just felt angry and she didn't know what she could do about it. She use to turn to food when she was angry, upset or nervous but she wasn't that person anymore and she wasn't going to do that. The only thing she could think to do was to call the girls and tell them everything. Maybe they could help her come up with an idea on how she could let Caleb know that she actually really did love him. Hannah took a seat on her bed and grabbed her phone. Once she texted the girls she laid back on her bed and looked up at the ceiling, all the memories of herself and Caleb flying around her brain. It made her said that she might never get that again, that she could have lost him for good. He had really been the only constantly good thing in her life apart from Aria, Emily and Spencer. A little while later the girls were all sat in Hannah's bedroom and she began to explain about A's plan for her and Caleb.

The clerk smiled and bagged it all up as Caleb purchased the necklace. He handed the boy the receipt and a coupon for 10% off of a sale that was $20 or more on any item in the store. He looked down at the item he had bought, feeling rather accomplished and proud of himself. He hoped that this would be enough to 'woo' Hanna back into his life. He wasn't sure how his life would roll out without the girl. Caleb thought back to earlier that day when he had bought the spaghetti noodles and sauce. He could remember clearly how happy and determined he was. He had felt like nothing could go wrong. Oh, I was so mistaken.

Caleb left the store seventy five dollars shorter, but he was overall praying that it wouldn't have gone to waste for nothing. He knew that if she continued to reject him, that the necklace would never be worn. He wouldn't have the heart to give it to another girl. It would forever be Hanna's, or forever be untouched. He couldn't help but think how much the jewelry's options matched his. He would either be with Hanna, or be forever alone. Caleb knew that as an over dramatic statement, and he knew he could find someone else- but at that time he didn't feel like it.


The boy grabbed his keys out of his pockets and unlocked the doors, getting a beep in return from the car. Caleb opened the passenger's door, and stuffed the bag on the flooring, making sure to conceal it nice and tight. He shut the door and came around to the driver's seat. He sat down and shut the door. Next he buckled himself in and started up the car with his keys. Looking out the mirror, he made sure that there wasn't anybody else pulling out as he was. Once he saw that nobody was there, he pulled out and started to take off towards Hanna's exit.


Caleb drove down the interstate, his eyes subconsciously drifting over to where the gift was at. The thought of it flying out the car was highly illogical, but it still terrified him. Biting his lip, he turned back and passed a white car to exit the highway. He looked at the street signs, recognizing them all from previous trips to Hanna's house in the past few years. Life surely wasn't going to be the same without her. No, Caleb. You can't afford to think like that. You will get Hanna back. True love knows no bounds.


Aria Montgomery ac? ??ve par? ?wo: ??e call


The second Aria had gotten a call from Hanna, she had packed up her bags and started out the door. Even though she was with Ezra, he understood the important of Aria going to comfort her best friend. The thing that scared the petite brunette was that Hanna sounded like she had been crying. This usually led up to a few things, one of those things being none other than 'A'.

She ran out of Ezra's apartment and down the hallway. Her heels clicked against the metal stairs as she rushed outside. Aria opened the door, and scavenged through her purse to pull out a set of keys. She found which one she was looking for, and pressed the unlock button. Aria ran frantically to the car, getting in and starting it up. She wouldn't have a far drive to Hanna's place, but she still wanted to get there just in time without having to mess anything. Adjusting her mirror, Aria put her foot on the pedal and headed towards her best friend's place.


It didn't take long for her to arrive at Hanna's place. She shut the car door, and walked into her blonde friend's house. Since the door to the house was unlocked, she was able to slip right in. "Hanna?" She called, which was greeted by the noise of Hanna being up stairs. Aria gripped her purse and headed up the set of stairs, heading into her friend's bedroom.


She opened the door to the room, peeking in to find Spencer, Hanna, and Emily already sitting around the bed. Aria sighed, being the last to arrive. "What's wrong, Hanna?" She asked upon seeing the tears falling down her best friend's face bitterly. She took a seat right by Hanna, rubbing her back as she pulled the girl closer for a huge hug. "Is it 'A'?"

When the girls arrived Hannah couldn't help but start to cry again. It made it seem more real in a strange way because Caleb was with them a lot and he had helped them a lot in their battle against A. When Aria walked in and gave her a huge hug Hannah held onto her tightly,just needing some sort of reassurance. She nodded ''It is A.''

Once they had stopped hugging Hannah wiped her eyes and adjusted the pillows behind her so that she could sit up against the headboard. ''Guys I broke up with Caleb because of A. A's been texting me all week, telling me that if I don't break up with him then A is going to somehow kidnap him and I couldn't let that happen to him but doing it hurt so bad. He set up a meal for when I got home and he could tell that something was wrong and asked if A was bothering me again but I couldn't tell him. If I told him A said that it would make things worse than if I didn't break up with him. I was so horrible to him and the worst part of all was that he was crying when he left. It broke my heart knowing that I made him think that I don't love him because I do, more than anything. I just know that I couldn't let anything happen to him. I would have done the same for you guys,''

''What am I meant to do? Am I just meant to sit back and let A take the man I am madly in love with away from me? I hate A. I honestly want to find that bitch and make them pay for everything they have done. What are they going to do just take away every person we care about? I'm so sick of this.'' She said as she shook her head as she grabbed her phone and chucked it at the wall. ''I'm getting tired of losing the people I care about.''

Aria listened as Hanna told them all what 'A' had done. They had stooped to an all new low. All four girls knew how close Hanna and Caleb were. They were pretty much soul mates, a match made in heaven. Aria couldn't believe that 'A' had went as far as to make Hanna break Caleb's heart to destroy her. "We'll find a way." Aria finally said when Hanna finished explaining.


The petite went on as soon as she got all of her friend's attentions. "Hanna, we'll get you and Caleb back together. We'll find a way." She promised, putting her hands on top of Hanna's hands. She looked into her blonde friend's eyes, smiling softly. "'A' might have the upper hand, but that doesn't mean she has the only hand. I'm sure that we will find a way to reunite you both."


The Montgomery looked up as she heard the sound of a car locking. She got up, and walked to the window, peering out. Caleb had a small box in his hands and he was walking into the house. Aria turned back to face Hanna and the other girls with wide eyes. "He's here. And he's holding something." She informed the others as the sound of the door from downstairs opening became audible.


Before she could point anything else out, Caleb had opened the door and started to talk to Hanna. He looked devastated just like Hanna did. It was harsh for Aria having to watch the pain and agony that filled the room just because of 'A' messing with them all. It sickened the brunette to no end, but she knew that it was hard to repel against 'A''s games.

After five minutes, Caleb found himself going down the same road he had went down what seemed like a million times. A small and anxious smile crept onto his lips as he drove down the path. To his surprise, there was a bunch of cars already parked in her driveway. He was confused at who it could be, but he had a sneaking suspicion it was her best friends' cars. Slowly, he pulled up behind what looked like Aria's car and slowly parked his vehicle. Caleb knew the second he got out of the car, he wouldn't be able to go back without attempting to win Hanna back.

With a sigh, he got out of the car. Slowly, he walked around this truck till he reached the passenger's side. Arching his back, he leaned down and picked up the bag he was going to present to Hanna. He untangled the box from the bag, and looked down at it. Without any hesitation, he ripped it out and shut the door. The box neatly sat on the palm of his hand as he locked his door.

He walked up the driveway, only halting when he reached the door. Slowly Caleb opened the door, entering into the house. His eyes fell to the kitchen where one eaten dinner sat, the other untouched. He sighed, but he could hear chatting from upstairs so he crept up the stairs. He took a silent breath as he reached the top, glancing down the long hallway.

Caleb understood that this was risky, but he needed to talk to Hanna even if she didn't want to talk to him. Slowly he walked to her room, knocking before slowly opening it and coming in. He saw Hanna sitting against the bed, tears falling down her face. Aria, Spencer, and Emily were sitting around her but they looked up when Caleb entered. Everyone had gotten so silent.

"I know that you don't want to see me... but I need to see you... I need to tell you something. If this doesn't work, I'll leave you and this messed up town alone." Caleb pulled out the box. He opened it, revealing the necklace he had bought. "Here, it's an infinity necklace. I thought our love would last an infinity... but... I guess it didn't." He said. "And please.. I feel like you've been pushing me away today... All day I just kept on hoping that things would go back to how it was. Us. Being happy. Our love... Please... I need to know where it went wrong. I don't want to be alone. Most of my life I've been alone even when I was around people... you were the only person that made me feel important."

I'm about to go and watch big brother so I won't really be able to send a good reply for about an hour. I will reply as soon as it's done though ugh I want to reply now but I can't when I go downstairs. meh


 
Hannah cried, her heart aching. He hadn't even been gone that long but she missed him already. Their relationship was everything she wanted, he was funny, smart, handsome, charming and so many other good thing and he also dealt with her shit and helped her through it instead of just leaving her to deal with it on her own. He was an amazing guy and the thought of letting him go just broke her heart. "I hope you're right Aria, I feel empty without him and he's barley been gone an hour. I just don't want to lose him. I love you guys and I know that you're all there for me but he just I don't know I love him and I don't know if I can be ok without him. I just feel broken. I may seem strong but I just feel so broken inside for doing this to him and being without him."

When Aria said that Caleb was here Hannah felt excited, ready to go jump in his arms and kiss him and be happy but reality came crumbling back around her and she remembered that she couldn't do that. If she did she was hurt. "Aria what do I do?" She asked, looking up at her friend with sad and scared eyes. She had no idea what to do or say and she wasn't expecting what was coming. When Caleb came into the room and explained about the necklace and about how he was feeling her body began to shake as an audible sob went through her entire body.

She stood up and was about to speak when an extremely sick feeling came over her and she knew that she wouldn't be able to speak. She was going to be sick. She ran from the room and went into the bathroom, kneeling down in front of the toilet as she threw up. She just didn't know what to do and it was making her feel sick and angry and hurt and she just wanted to make A pay. She wanted her life back. She pulled her knees up to her chest and leaned against the bath, crying as she tried to get rid of the sick feeling. She didn't know what she should do or say to Caleb. She just hoped that Aria and the girls might give him some sort of hint as to what was happening.

Aria nodded at what Hanna had said. "'A' wants you to feel broken. But we won't let them do this. That's crossing the line." She said, a determined look in her eyes. She wasn't sure how she'd handle it if 'A' tried to separate her and Ezra like that. When Caleb explained how his heart felt, she knew that it would only hurt Hanna further. Her grip on her best friend's hand got tighter to reassure her that everything would be alright.

She stood up when Hanna did, wanting to convince her to stay but she didn't know how to. Nobody looked like they did. 'A' had messed with all of them for as long as she could remember since she returned from Iceland. 'A' had created insanity, hurt them physically and mentally, but seeing Hanna like this depressed the petite. No, it did more than sadden her. It made her angry. She wanted to fight back, and give 'A' some of her or his own medicine. But Aria felt hopeless, knowing that none of them could really take down 'A' that easily.


Gulping slightly, she turned to face Caleb in an attempt to help Hanna. "Caleb...." She said as the boy turned his head to face her. Aria's face was soft but slightly conflicted. "If 'A' told Hanna to do something that was totally insane... and might hurt people... would you support her?" She asked the brunette with an arched eyebrow and a small smile as she awaited his answer.


Aria frowned, biting her lip when she heard the sound of her best friend throwing up in the bathroom. She forced herself to turn and face Caleb. "Would you do it? For Hanna?" She knew that he would most likely agree so she didn't stress too much about his answer. The petite glanced out of the bedroom where the sound of sobs and throwing up were echoing around the house.

Caleb looked at Hanna sadly as she let out a loud cry. He never wanted to hug her more than he did right now. She looked miserable, and that fact made him feel miserable. "Hanna... I love you... I always will..." He told her, giving her the puppy eyes that always had never failed to make her smile. He remembered the first time he met her. Caleb thought she was a walking bitch.


But, no. He had never been so wrong before in his life. Hanna was a wonderful girl. She was beautiful, and kind, funny.... angelic... perfect. She was the whole package. Sometimes Caleb couldn't believe that she was actually his. Well, was his. When Hanna got up and ran out his heart shattered. He wanted to go after her and cuddle her until she was alright.

But since they weren't together, Caleb felt out of place if he did that. Sighing, he had finally decided to go and check on her when Aria had started to talk to him about 'A'. At first the brunette looked a bit confused, not sure why she was bringing it up at a time like that. But, as she went on Caleb connected it all together. 'A' was messing with Hanna. He knew it! 'A' was picking at Hanna- and it was causing this effect. Even though he wasn't positive on what 'A' made his ex do, he had a theory that it had to do with him.


"Of course I would stick by Hanna." Caleb assured Aria. He couldn't explain. Not there. No. He had to go and support Hanna. He headed into the bathroom where he saw her curled around the toilet. Caleb walked towards her and sat behind her, holding her blonde hair back. "Aria informed me about something. Is... Is 'A' Causing something to happen?"

Caleb wasn't sure how to properly word it in a way that she would feel comfortable in hearing it. "I mean... I know you love me... but is 'A' tampering around with that love?" He asked trying to question her so that he could get some answer. He wanted to do nothing more than hug her and comfort her. All he could do was hold her blonde hair back. The lack of interaction was killing him and he had a feeling that it was destroying Hanna as much if not more. "You can tell me. Please. I need to know."

Hanna (just realised I've been spelling Hanna wrong this whole time *face palm*) sighed at how sweet Caleb was being, he just got more and more perfect and it made it so much harder. She wanted to be with him and just be happy but there was on way she was going to let him potentially get hurt because if he did she would blame herself and she couldn't bare for something to happen to him. She sighed as she leaned her head against the toilet and then sat up again, feeling the sick feeling rushing back to her. When she felt the familiar tingles when her hair was pulled back she knew that it was Caleb and she just wanted to be in his arms and hug the life out of him and never let go. When he asked her if A was messing with her love for him she nodded, needing him to know that it wasn't her who was wanting to break up with him "I can't and won't let them hurt you Caleb. I have to do as they say. But please don't think that I don't love you because I do and this is honestly breaking my heart but I won't let you get hurt by that.. That bitch. I want to tell you everything but I can't,"

She said as she turned around and wrapped her arms around him tightly, needing his touch, even if it was for the last time.

"We can't be doing this. A is everywhere and I can't let you get hurt. I can't." She said as she pulled away from him, her hands shaking as anger filled her body. She was angry at A, angry at herself letting A win but she didn't know how to fight back against A and she wasn't going to risk losing Caleb over her trying. "I love you." She said, tears dripping down her cheeks.

"You should go ok?" She said as she gave him a sad smile. She just didn't want him to get hurt.

Caleb listened with an open heart as she slowly explained the deal with 'A'. Of course that bitch had something to do with this. All 'A' did was screw them over. His eyes fell onto her back as Hanna explained how she couldn't tell him what was going on fully. It angered him how much it was torturing the one he loved. "Hurt me, Hanna? Is 'A blackmailing you about me?" He asked her, his wide brown eyes studying her with care and worry in fear of what game 'A' was playing at. This is BS. 'A' should be in jail, no, 'A' should die.

"Thank you. Thank for you telling me that much. I don't know what I would have done if you didn't tell me that you actually loved me." Caleb told her, slightly surprised that she had hugged him. Without doing anything else, he quickly hugged her back. He let a stray hand run through her blonde and soft hair lovingly as he held her close.

"Don't cry, beautiful. I won't let this happen. Whatever 'A' has in his or her twisted brain, it won't work." The brunette told her with a stern and sincere look in his eye. 'A' wouldn't get away with this. Not this time. Their love was too strong to be broken. "What do you mean we can't be doing this? I don't care if 'A' sees us. I promise nobody can see us." The window was covered completely and the door was shut, leaving only a mirror and a shower. "I love you, too, Hanna. And I always will." He told her genuinely.

As she pulled back, Caleb sighed. He slowly let go over reluctantly, his eyes brushing over the floor. "When did she threaten this with you?" He asked the blonde girl, needing to know. "I won't go, Hanna. Nothing will make me leave. You're in tears, and I wouldn't leave you like this. No, not again. I won't make you cry." He said in reference to the first time they had broken up. Caleb had gotten a lot wiser since then. He also seemed to be getting deeper in love with Hanna more and more every day. It couldn't stop. No, it wouldn't stop. He wouldn't allow that to happen over his dead body.

Hanna sighed as she wiped her eyes ''I really didn't want to tell you because it's going to make things worse and I don't want things to get worse but seeing you this sad just hurts my heart and I hate that I made you sad. I saw you in the car before you left, when you were crying and I honestly just wished I was a different person in the moment because realising that I did that to you just made me feel like a horrible person.'' she said as she sighed, resting her head on his shoulder as she enjoyed the hug, needing his comfort. She wished that they could stay like that forever or leave this stupid town so they could be happy together without having to worry about some stupid person who wanted to make their lives a living hell. ''I don't know what they are capable of though Caleb and that's why I need to do as they say, I'm not going to risk losing you, no way not ever. Even if that means we have to not be together for a while. it hurts to think that that might have to be what has to be done but if it means that you're ok and not dead or hurt then I guess it's what we have to do.'' she said as she sighed. She leaned agaoinst the side of the bath and listened to him, small smile gracing her lips when he told her that he loved her and that he always would. ''About a week ago.'' Hannah replied ''They sent one text and left it a few days before sending them more often because I didn't break up with you. I haven't had anything since this morning though.'' she told him. ''Caleb I don't want you to go, I really really don't want you to go but then I also think we need to do what A says because if not you could get hurt and if you get hurt, I get hurt.'' she said as she sighed. ''I hate this, I hate it so much. I just want to enjoy my life again and be with you. I want to be able to enjoy the dinner you make and lay out under the stars like we always do.'' she said as she began to cry again, just utterly fed up with everything.

''I wish we could just leave and get away for a while, even if it's only a few days. I just want to not have to worry about you getting hurt or me not being able to be with you. I want to be able to hug and kiss you without thinking your going to get killed in your sleep or something. I'm going crazy.'' she ranted, covering her face with her hands. A had really messed with her this time.

The tech genius looked at Hanna as she spilled her heart out. His eyes softened and he wrapped her into a tighter hug once again. "This has been going on for about a week?" His eyes were full of a mixture of shock and anger. They wouldn't allow 'A' to get away with this. Not now. Not ever. "I'm sorry that it hurt you so bad. 'A' needs to be stopped. Now." He told her with a determined look in his eyes. He loved her, and it pained him to see her in such of a distressed mood. He frowned slightly, shaking his head.

"I won't let him or her hurt me. And by a father extent, I won't let them hurt you." He promised to her like it was some kind of wedding vow. Caleb searched her eyes lovingly. He swore that every time he looked into her eyes he only fell deeper under her mesmerizing ways. He continued to listen to the logical response, nodding. It all made sense despite how much he hated it. It seemed that every day he fell more in love with Hanna, and more annoyed with 'A'. He wanted her to be happy, but he knew that wouldn't be possible unless the rid 'A' of their lives. That proved to be a rather tedious task considering it seemed like 'A' was everywhere and frankly unstoppable.

Just as a sigh escaped his lips, an idea ran into his head. Caleb smirked and looked at the blonde. "I have an idea, Hanna. Why don't we leave this wretched town? We have to leave. Maybe even just for a day. It doesn't matter. I don't care where we go. We need a vacation. How about we head out for a week to somewhere special to escape from this life? From this wretched and scary life..." He tried to persuade her with a small yet oddly charming smile that he knew she adored. "What do you think?"

His eyes scanned over hers, as he bit his lip a little with a grin. Caleb's eyes didn't leave hers as he tried to wait patiently for the long awaited answer. "It'll be fun. It'll be just us. It'll be like we're living a normal life. What do you say?"

Hanna nodded and sighed as she held onto him tightly, almost afraid that if she let go off him he would disappeared from her grip. ''A week, probably longer. It's been from the day before we went on that date the other week, the last one when we went out.'' she said as she sighed ''Why does A do this? I know me and the girls have done some things wrong in the past like the stuff with Jenna but are we really that bad that we deserve this to happen? Do we deserve to have the constant fear of losing the people we love?'' she asked, sighing as she tangled her hands in his hair, just needing to feel close to him. As they hugged she started to calm down a bit and a small smile broke out onto her face. She really loved this man.

''A always strikes when we don't expect though Caleb, how can we know that you are going to be ok? that's what scares me and I really don't know what I would do if I lost you. I know you can protect me and yourself but A just scares the crap out of me. You are the most important thing in my life and I just want to know that you are ok and not have to worry about stupid A hurting you. As much as you want to protect me, I want to protect you in any way I can and if there is a way I can protect you I will do it,'' she said as she looked up at him. Hannah couldn't help but laugh a little when the smirk broke out on his face, thinking to herself just how good looking he was. ''God you look so hot when you do that,'' she muttered as she bit her lip softly, grinning a little.

''So what's your idea?'' she asked him, wondering what he was going to say and then when he said his idea she couldn't help but smile, going away for a few days sounded like heaven. ''Caleb that sounds amazing. I need that. I need to just get away. I need to be able to be with you and not worry about stupid A and I just want to be with you and enjoy myself. So that idea sounds amazing. I don't know if my mum would let me though and I can't just not tell her.'' she said as she ran a hand through her hair. She wanted nothing more than to leave with Caleb for a few days, possibly longer. ''I say yes. Lets do it. But let's take tonight to plan and then go tomorrow? I want to see what my mum says first. But what I want to do right now..'' she said as she stood on her tiptoes and pressed her lips against his in a loving kiss, wanting to show him just how much she loved him and how much he appreciated him being here and comforting her like this. She was glad that he didn't give up on her and just accepted what she said.

He listened to what Hanna had said about 'A'. "Trust me... you didn't deserve any of this." Caleb promised the girl with a sincere look in his eyes that showed her how much he honestly cared for her. There was nothing in this world that could separate them. "Nobody's perfect, Hanna. We all mistakes. 'A' just decides to take those mistakes and make a big deal about them. And about the Jenna thing... it wasn't your fault. It was clearly Ali's." The brunette promised her, wrapping his arms around her tightly.

When she commented about his smirk and lip-bite, he arched an eyebrow playfully. "I'm the hot one? Okay, I am pretty darn hot... but have you seen yourself?" Caleb asked her with a grin, scanning over his blonde girlfriend. She looked adorable when she bit her bottom lip, and he couldn't contain a smile when he saw it. "I'm glad you like the idea."


"And about your mother, we can call her. I'm sure if we explain what's been going on she'll be open minded. Well, to an extent... because have you told her about... 'A'?" Caleb doubted it, but he still asked her. "And I think your mother honestly trusts me so I'm sure she'll allow us to go out." He told her honestly, not letting the blonde go. He was about to kiss her when she leaned in and kissed him first.


The brunette held her closer, wrapping an arm around her waist and deepened the kiss. Hanna's lips were soft and accepting and he couldn't get enough of them. Caleb lifted his two hands up and cupped her face in the palm of his hands before slowly pulling back to look into her eyes. "I'm so glad that you'll come. I'll get the phone so you can call your mother.."


Caleb reached over and grabbed the telephone, dialing Mrs. Marin's cell number before handing the phone over to Hannah.

Ashley was out of the house, hitting up a coffee shop after her shift at her work place. She parked her car in front of Starbuck's and pulled down her car mirror. Ashley applied a fresh layer of lipstick onto her lips, scanning her reflection to make sure it looked on point. After checking it, she closed it once more and opened the car door, taking a step out. Mrs. Marin messed with her keys before locking it and heading down the pavement and into the store. She opened the glass door for herself, taking a few steps in.

The mother looked at the sign of different drinks trying to decide which drink she wanted. Walking up to the register, she got out her wallet. "One cinnamon dolce latte, please." Ashley ordered as the cashier asked for her name as she entered in the latte. "Ashley Marin." She told the lady who assured her it would be out in a few minutes.


Ashley thanked the lady when her phone started to buzz in her pocket. Reaching down, she pulled it out and looked at the caller id to see it was from home. She knew it was probably Hanna, so she walked over to a pair of stairs at the side of the Starbuck's. Sitting down on the bottom step, she pressed 'answer' on her cell and put it to the side of her face.


"Hello?" The red head answered.

Hanna nodded and listened to him, smiling a little because she could see just how much he cared about her and it made her really, really happy. She could tell that he really truly did care for her. She nodded ''That's true, A makes everything seem much worse than it is and it starts to mess with our minds and it's horrible. And your right about it being Ali's fault but I don't know I can't help but feel like it's our fault in a way as well. I can't change the past now though.'' she said as she bit her lip, trying to clear thoughts of Jenna and the others from her mind. All she wanted to think about right now was her and her wonderful boyfriend who was stood in front of her.


When he arched his eyebrow playfully she groaned, laughing once again and shaking her head ''Why does that also look so darn good looking on you? I swear there is not a look that you can't pull off. But mr I'm very full of myself,'' she teased ''I have looked at myself and still think that you are the hot one. I mean seriously even by doing the simplest things you just look bloody good. It's not really fair sometimes.'' she told him, pouting. ''It's a perfect idea and we both really need right now I think.'' she said as she looked up at him. ''I haven't told her about A but we can work around it. Im just scared that she's going to say no because if she does I don't know what I'll do. I just need to be with you right now because you make me happy and I need some cheering up," She paused "But she will probably say yes because like you said, she trusts you so hopefully she will say yes." She said.


When he kissed her back her stomach exploded with butterfly's. She began to wonder how Caleb made each kiss just as good as the last one. When he deepens the kiss she grins against his lips, wrapping her arms around his neck. When they stopped kissing and he spoke again she shook her head "Caleb you know that where ever you are I will either be there or want to be there so of course I would come. You are the only person I need right now,"


Once Caleb had handed her the phone hanna had a little bit of a panic. What was she going to say? How was she going to word it? She looked at Caleb with wide eyes, mouthing "I don't know what to say!" But then she heard her mums voice and she took a deep breath "Hey mum. I was wondering.. I know that you aren't going to be home this weekend and I'm feeling pretty low and Caleb suggested that we could go away for a few days? I just feel really sad and down right now and he seems to be the only one that can make me feel better. Would you be ok if we went away for a few days?" She asked, chewing on her bottom lip as she waited for her mother to answer her, her fingers crossed. All she wanted to do was be with Caleb and she hoped her mum would let her do that.

He smirked, listening to what Hanna had to say on the topic of his looks but frowned when what she said had sunk in. "Well, of course you were there and you went along with it... but it wasn't your idea at all. And you didn't want to do it. 'A' just wants you to feel guilty, princess. I promise to that whatever she or he does is just another trick to mess with your brain. You haven't done anything wrong." Caleb once more cupped her head in his hands before leaning in and softly pecking her forehead in a way that was meant to calm her down.

"Yes, you are very accurate about that, Hanna. I can verify that I really can pull anything off." Caleb winked, looking at the blonde that was right by him. "And I don't think you looked hard enough at yourself. I think actually you're the one that can pull anything off." He told her, smiling cheekily at her before turning serious. His eyes landed on her. "Well, if your mother doesn't let us... I'm not going to leave you. It's just never going to happen. I love you too much to be without you. We need this trip. And I will make this trip happen." He promised her, and by extension- himself.


Caleb shared the kiss with her, and held her closely as if he never wanted to let her go. "You're the only person I need, too. I don't know what I'd do without you. I think I would go crazy. Well, crazier." He chuckled, pushing a blonde strand that was blocking her face behind her ear. "You're amazing. Always." He told Hanna with a smile, swaying slightly with her in his arms.


As he handed her the phone, Caleb saw the look of fear in her eye. He sent her a smile to assure her that everything was going to be alright and that if she worded it properly, they would be able to get away with it.

The mother listened carefully to her daughter's question. She sighed as Hanna finished asking her. Ashley hated the thought of her daughter feeling so low, but she was a bit hesitant. Well... Caleb loves her, and he wouldn't hurt her. "You're only going away for a few days, correct?" She asked her daughter through the phone, not yet providing her with a proper response.

Ashley got up from the stair and started to walk across Starbucks, pacing back and forth as she waited for her latte to be ready. Running a hand through her hair, she thought it over. "Well... tell me where you guys are going..." She said as she heard her name being called by the barista. Mrs. Marin walked up to claim her drink. "Well, Hanna..." She wasn't sure why she was being so hesitant considering that she trusted her daughter and her boyfriend. Ashley just assumed that it probably had to do with the fact she wasn't sure where Hanna was going.


"I guess- if you two remain safe both physically and sexually...yes, Hanna, I don't a grandchild yet... then I guess if you abide by those simple set of rules... the answer would be yes." Ashley looked down at her cup to see that the cashier had misspelled her name, but it wasn't out of the ordinary for them to misspell names. Slowly she took a sip of her latte. "Just, promise me a few things."


She held the latte in her left hand as she pressed the phone to her ear with her right arm. "Promise me that you'll stay safe, and text me everyday about what you did. Alright?" Ashley asked her daughter as she headed into the car, starting it up swiftly. She looked at the lipstick stain on her straw, but Ashley wiped it off with a napkin.

Hanna nods "A really is playing with my brain and I hate it. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you and the girls. I would probably end up in radley or something because of that stupid bitch driving me crazy." She said as she sighed, realising just how true what she said was. If she didn't have them she probably would go crazy because right now this was all driving her insane and Caleb and the girls were the only ones that could make her feel better. When he kissed her forehead she smile, her body visibly relaxing. There was something about him that could always make her relax and feel happy, no matter what.


Hanna laughed and shook her head "Babe are you sure about going on this trip? I mean I'm not sure your ego will be able to fit in the car." She teased as she stuck her tongue out at him. She shook her head after listening to him "You're just being nice but thank you." She said softly. Even after losing the weight and stuff like that she still felt insecure but Caleb helped with that a lot; although it was still there. "You are so sweet Caleb but I will agree to you being here even if we don't go on the trip as long as you stay safe ok? I don't think I could handle it if A hurt you or even killed you. That thought makes me feel sick." She sighed "But I hope the trip does happen. We can do what we want, when ever we want to. It's going to be great."


Hanna smiled when he broke the kiss but then pouted a little. She wanted his lips back on hers. "You aren't crazy Caleb. Just incredibly perfect." She said as pecked his lips "And FYI, it's you who is the amazing one mister."


When her mother spoke Hanna got a bit more excited and optimistic "Yeah, we would be gone for a few days, at a push possibly a week? We are off school and stuff next week so it could work. I don't know we haven't planned yet we wanted to see if you would let me go first." She told her mum, her spare hand finding Caleb's as she spoke, lacing her fingers with his. "We don't know where we are going yet. Caleb is going to stay over so we can plan and then head off some time tomorrow. Apart from the fact we just need a break we have no idea about anything else," she told her. "Mum you know we are safe in both of those ways." She said, blushing a little. It was strange discussing anything about her sex life with her mother "I will do that mum I promise. I will text you in the morning when we get up and then give you a call when you get in from work at night. Does that mean you are going to let me go?" She asked, a grin breaking out onto her face.


Idea: may be a bit crazy and hasn't happened on the show but maybe when they are on the trip hanna could end up pregnant so that makes everything with A even more dangerous? Idk just an idea

Caleb looked at her, as she finished the phone call with her mother before he chuckled. "Well, if you did go insane then I still would love you." He promised her, intertwining their fingers together. "And sanity is just a word." He winked at her, running his thumb over the back of her palm in a loving and caring way to convince her that everything would turn out just fine. He then started to chuckle at Hanna's comment about his ego. Caleb shook his head, a smirk rising onto his face as she said that.

"Please." He said with a little bit of sass but his smile grew in width as she assured him that he could still stay over under the conditions he stayed safe. "Ah, I can take a few punches." Caleb teased Hanna. "But, seriously- I won't let 'A' hurt me or you. I promise that I will try to the best of my abilities to ward of his or her stupid plots." The brunette told her with a soft smile. When he heard the compliment he chuckled. "Well, you can't complain about my ego when you keep on filling it up, my beautiful princess." The boy said softly.


By the sounds of how the conversation was going by Hanna's end Caleb assumed that they were going to be able to go. Mrs. Marin knew that he would keep her safe at all costs so he took a deep sigh of relief when Hanna's face lit up which was a key sign that they were most likely allowed to go on the trip. He couldn't contain his excitement.

"Hanna... How about we go to Erie, Pennsylvania? It's still in the state, but it's far enough to be away from 'A'. I've been there multiple times, and I know a few great things that we could do. We can do pretty much anything - there's golf, there's shopping, there's an amusement park, there's a beach, there's great food- it would be perfect!"

She started up the car, listening to her daughter's answer. It seemed rather reasonable- a few day possibly a week- of going somewhere. Especially since Hanna admitted that she was filling a bit down, Ashley thought it would be a good idea for Caleb to take her daughter out on an extended date-like experience. It seemed fine with her.


"Alright, if you text me everyday- and if you stay within the state- I'll allow you to go wherever you want to for a week. Take your credit card, and you can spend up to $500 on this trip." Mrs. Marin told Hanna as she pulled out of the parking lot. She turned down on a side road, her eyes turning both ways before she flipped her left signal on. The woman turned left, heading towards a shoe shop.


"I love you, Hanna. Stay safe, and inform me. You are allowed to go." Ashley informed her daughter as she slowly headed down the street, carefully scanning around for any cars. When it was clear, she made a different right that lead her on the proper road that would take her to the shoe shop. "Goodbye, Hanna." She told her daughter.


The redhead hung up and continued to drive.
