My name is Harley Madison but my friends call me Madz, and I am 23 years of age and I'm from Paterson, New Jersey. "Well hey there, the names Tyson but please, Ty is much shorter. I am horrible at these things and I honestly wasn't planning on doing anything like this HOWEVER my loving and huge pain in my ass of a younger sister insisted I needed to "GET OUT THERE" and signed myself up for this and I am the type of person to try everything once. I own a small ranch outside of town and provide local shops with meat for their shelves every so often. I am a hard working man who has his priorities straight, My sister would say TO straight. I have been single for three years my last woman couldn't handle my job and then my ranch duties at home ontop of everything. Mom was one of the performers that night and Dad made it backstage after the show. And, well, they clicked. They were in a long-distance relationship until Dad finally convinced her to move to Taiwan and they married.
  
  "I can't lie; life's been pretty easy. The worst thing I've probably had to deal with is moving to another country... I was born in Sanxia, New Taipei City and spent most of my life in Taiwan until I was 15. My parents made it a point to make sure I fit in regardless of my background... Honestly, I don't see why they had to work so hard considering I was growing up surrounded by Taiwanese culture." -shrug- "Mom's the main reason I speak English and I am aware of some Irish customs.

Bio: Yo, my name is Vashon Reyes but most people just call me Shaun. I was born in New York City…no not the good part. Growing up wasn’t as bad as you would think, and I still visit my friends from time to time. I originally thought doing this would be embarrassing but my dad was in prison and my mom was in rehab, so it turns out I was the one embarrassed. With no one holding the family together my brothers and sisters sorta went out and did their own thing. I went to college, and got a degree that I don’t use and decided to become a DJ and tatoo artist. Although I’m a bit in debt I enjoy what I do for a living. It’s two jobs, but its art, something I’m passionate about. I’ve usually been on the road for the past few years. Had a few flings, but never entered a serious relationship in the past seven years. That life is glamorized but its boring, redundant, and unfulfilling. If we’re all being honest, money is a big factor on this show. Bio: “Hey, I’m Dèrive Talia but I prefer to be called Dee or Lia. I’m only called Dèrive by my mother and that’s whenever I’m in trouble, so bad times. On a lighter note I’m twenty-five year old and I’m from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. It’s a very small town with a population of two hundred and eighty on, while it has a certain charm to outsiders it’s real boring to us locals. I work as a Freelance Writer and a Travel Blogger. My little town was to small for me, so I left at the first opportunity that presented itself.

My parents are like me, or I’m like them. My mother moved around a lot as a child before she settled in little ole Harpers Ferry. She was born into military family which required to travel. Sadly her dad died in service and they decided to stay. My father was a local of the town, his parents owned a candy shop that was popular with the kids. The two of them met there as teenagers and the rest was history. My folks were highschool are highschool sweethearts. After graduating from highschool they parted ways to pursue different career paths. My mom became a flight attendant and my dad a mechanic. Somehow they managed to make things work between them. And after getting married I came along.

All of my life I’ve been in love with the idea of traveling. Family vacations were the best times to me. I loved my little town but I wanted more in life, just like my mother. In highschool I was a good student. It was an overall painfully average experience. I had a few boyfriends and girlfriends, had my heartbroken and moved on like any typical teen. I would sometimes sneak out and other not so good things but again it wasn’t anything impressive. Things changed when I left for college. I knew that I wanted to be a writer, so I majors in English and Freelance writing. Photography didn’t come until later on.

I got the idea of becoming a Travel Blogger from the internet. There are always videos and websites of people traveling the world and getting paid to do it. I knew that it was the life for me from the start. Things weren’t easy at first. When I graduated I could only start off small and visit places around the US. Eventually I was offered a chance to be sent to Europe. Ever since then I’ve been traveling all over. I decided to take a small break for the show, because why not?   While he carries a fairly serious and aloof aura, Min Jun is actually more approachable than he looks and friendlier than he lets on. However, he doesn't tend to go out of his way to approach anyone unless he piques a particular interest in them. He's more comfortable in solitude or around a handful of people. He can be a fairly private person, never bringing up personal situations in his life unless asked. He's very no-nonsense when going after a goal or working on something; though, he does enjoy the occasional dose of fun. Granted, more "unconventional" fun, but still fun. He just believes everything has a time and place. It's been said that he has a sort of charm that draws people in - but it's not something he controls or is aware of.   "I was born in South Korea as the angry lovechild of a Japanese/Korean woman and Chinese man. That's just a little background joke of mine." -flashes playful smirk- "But, nah - my parents were crazy about each other. Anyway, we moved to America when I was 8 for no other reason than their romanticized view of western culture. The move didn't matter much to me either way. It took time to get used to, though. The only English I spoke was a watered-down, choppier version of what my parents knew...which might have been on a first grade level.
  
  "No sense in sugar-coating it: I wreaked havoc growing up. You could probably say I still do, but I got a lot less clumsy with it. It's no fault of my parents; they're great people and they tried. Despite working, they were always active in my life and my mother would even volunteer at school up through middle school. I've just always been innately rebellious and my ways of exercising that rebellion got worse as I got older. I went from back-talking and not following directions to skipping school to selling drugs at school." -hikes eyebrow- "I see you judging me... Honestly, I judge me too." -takes a puff from his cigarette- "Junior year of high school, I actually got caught with cigs and too much cash in my locker... which was lucky for me 'cause I definitely had more than cigarettes in my locker earlier that week. However, that was still my ticket to extensive court hearings and probation. I managed to avoid juvie by some minor technicality. (No shit - I still have that lawyer on speed dial. He was good.) I had to cross my T's and dot my I's for the rest of high school, though. Even the slightest hint of another strike would have been it for me.
  
  "I... Mmm..." -sighs- "Alright, I don't really talk about things like this, but since I'm here and you're asking... While the fiasco of legal troubles were taking place, my father ended up sick. He had a stroke that put him in the hospital for a few weeks. After he got out, he basically had to be trained to be normal again - speech and physical therapy sessions became a regular thing. By the time the summer after junior year came, Dad was able to get around in a wheelchair and speak more clearly. But, y'know, there's always the calm before the storm... And to make a long story short, Dad ended up getting worse in the way he moved, talked, and his memory seemed to fry. He had stroke-related dementia and lived with it four years until passing last year.
  
  "Adjusting was... hard. I mean, really just watching him wither and then dealing with the fact that he was no longer here. Everything else as far as home and finances were concerned was pretty much in place already. Since dad had been sick so long, we'd cut back a long time ago in order to save more and now afford medical bills and treatments and inevitable funeral costs. I had stayed pretty straight-laced for the rest of junior year and even that summer, but when we found out how sick dad really was during senior year, I had gone back to drug dealing. It was quick, easy money, but I was smart enough to keep it out of school this time... That's maturity for ya, right?" -chuckles briefly- "I never wanted to go too far down the rabbit hole with the drug thing, so I also did other things like work on cars in the neighborhood - fixing them, detailing... That sorta stuff. A few months after Dad died, I decided to stop selling drugs for a number of reasons, but mainly because I figured the last thing Mom needs is to lose me too. Cars are actually something I'm pretty into... (Please hold the Tokyo Drift jokes.) So, I mainly do car gigs now and decided to go to vocational school to work on getting a certificate."

Bio: Hello. My name is Alexander Wood but rather go by Xander. I am 24-years-old and I own my own restaurant named, Woodlands in Seatle, Oregon. I am one of the chefs there on top of creating new and unique recipes to bring to my restaurant. My love for cooking started after I was fifteen when I was basically thrust the responsibility to feed my younger siblings. Being the eldest of five kids, was hard but I got by. Since I can remember, my mother was never around. I was mainly raised by my father and his then wife. When I was eight, I became an older brother to a little girl, but the girls kept coming to every couple of years. So I am the only male my father ever had after his wife passed away from an automotive accident, but that never stopped me from keeping my sisters continuing their life. My father sort of left the picture due to taking multiple jobs in order to bring food to the table.
I have always been a straight As students, growing up, but once I began to look after my sister, my grades began to slip. During high school, I took up a job in order to help out on top of keeping my grades back up. When I graduated high school, I entered a culinary trade school which was fully paid with scholarships. During my first year, I met a friend that lend me the money to start my dream of owning a restaurant of my own. Since then, it keeps getting bigger and it allowed me to provide my sisters with what they need.
