THE LIGNESTI

The Lignesti is a beast forsaken by man. Truly the spawn of Satan himself. Such infamously boasted by such a creature can only be earned through the darkest of practises. There has been no witness to its deeds, for all that have dared shared its path have become victim to a relentless appetite. Many say that it resides behind the trees of the Ash Woods to the North. None can ever truly confirm such a thing. Any soul courageous enough to enter such treacherous territories have never left by any account. They say it is always the Lignesti - a twisted abomination which only savours the taste of a man's skin. Elders describe such a thing with a hide of pure bark and nothing more, masquerading as one of the trees until it's next banquet arrives to meet its company. Perhaps that is why it can never truly be sighted. Or maybe it's because it never spares a victim - neither man, woman, child, or infant.

Actually. That'll make playing an optimistic character more fun. Just like pinkiepie from mlp. (The "friendship is witchcraft" version) which I'm sure you know nothing about. Basically she has a fucked up backstory and still stays optimistic.

Hmm. I would like a summary if you will. Something that belongs on the back of a book. The story I want summarizing is as follows.

There is a knight, boasting the most incandescent faith in his lord of light. The knight's world is not as cheery as his disposition. It is glum and filled with dark, evil things. The glorious sun dares not show itself in such a land. It is the knight's mission to push through said land, overcoming the vilest creature of them all. It is without a true name and it is the scourge that brings the Dark.

Length is at your discretion. As is the naming of the knight. Give him a name, or not. Take your time, now.

(NAME). A mystery to the masses. Like a forsaken book shut tight out of fear of what may jump out of it. One would be suicidal to put a knife to her back, if you believed the gossip spilling from any mouth. Many rumours cover what her story was before she became what she is today. And none of them are close to a happy subject - not even scraping by. Apparently she was incarcerated into Maximum Security for 12 Charges of First Degree Murder. That's what the more colourful side of the discussion normally talks about. Following it through, you may also find out that she could have been a slave to the well-off. Maybe that'll explain why she's one of the most notorious Captains in the business - even before she set up her crew. But one thing's for certain, though: you screw with her and you'll find that you've got a nice casket waiting for you six feet below the grass.​

A task has been set, and few have shown willing to follow it through to its success. Many have dared backdown, rather than showing a display of undying loyalty to their benevolent Lord.
