Plot: 2 rival kingdoms wanting to make peace by arranging a marriage but the other is planning on their son/daughter killing the prince/princess of the enemy kingdom

Knock. Knock. Knock. Rayver continued to sleep through the light knocking that sounded throughout his room. Today he would leave the village to visit his parents again. Knock. Knock. There was something different about this visit though. Apparently his parents were going to surprise him with some news. Knock. Rayver shifted his position and turned to lie down on his stomach. "Oi Rayver! Time to get up boy" One of Rayver's guardians in the village opened the door and walked in. His name was George. Rayver opened his eyes to see his "uncle". "Good mornin' get up now. I know it's a lot earlier than yer usual but your parents really want to see ya" George said with a slight accent. Rayver turned over and sat up on his bed, "Thank you uncle. Delighted to see you this morning". The prince smiled as his uncle chuckled. "No need to get all fancy with me boy...or are ye just practicin'?" George questioned giving Rayver some room to get up. Rayver stood up from his bed and fixed it, "Practicing". Rayver smiled then walked out of his room along with George.

"Farewell Bleu, Blythe," her father bid his goodbye, then turned away from them. Bleu forced another smile onto her face and waved as he disappeared into the crowd that gathered to see their princess off. The ship's anchor was then brought up and the two sailed for Vasacar. Blythe turns to look at his sister and sighs as he sees her emotionless face once again. "Cheer up, the marriage or whatever this is, wont be so bad," he says trying to give her some comfort. Bleu cranes her neck up to look at him. "I guess," she states then went back to lifelessly staring out at the sea. Blythe sighs, hoping once they reach land, someone (as in her marriage partner) will change up her appearance.

A couple hours later, their ship docked onto land. The two siblings hopped off to the side as people crowd to reach the ship, wanting to see what was going on. "We should escape," Blythe whispers in Bleu's ear. A curt nod from her was all he needed before they dashed from the crowd and into a small alley.

"Get ya self cleaned up. I'm goin' to check breakfast with Joe" George said walking into the kitchen. "Yes sir" Rayver responded then did his usual morning routine. After cleaning himself up, Rayver walked out smellin- "RAYVUH!" A young kid ran toward the prince and wrapped her arms around him. "Tina!" Rayver laughed hugging her back. "Do your parents know that you are here?" His gaze shifted around to see her parents sitting at the table. "Guests and you didn't tell me? I could have helped" Rayver said looking at Joe and taking his seat. "Eh what's the need. Ya got to remember what it's like gettin' helped and all" George replied. They took their seats at the table and ate their meal.

After some moments they finished their meal and got ready for Rayver's departure. "They said you'll be away for a while Rayver" Joe said eyeing the prince from the side of his eye as he rolled up some rope. "Really? I find that hard to believe. Longest I've stayed there since I was seven was...three days" Rayver replied opening the door of their home. "Four" Joe corrected walking out. "Three and a half" Rayver responded in a more precise manner. "Ran back to the village to avoid the boredom" He smiled a bit at the memory. "That was your auntie" Joe raised a brow and spoke with a scolding tone. "From anotha world!" Rayver laughed. "Ay be polite boy!" The man furrowed his brows. "MY apologies Uncle Johannes" Rayver replied slightly bowing his head. "Get me some more rope will ye? Meet me by my boat. We'll leave by carriage after" Joe ordered moving his way through the crowd. "...carriage. Sure thing!" Rayver said turning the opposite direction and going to a stand to get some rope.

"..Hey, that boy looks familiar doesn't he?" Blythe asks pointing to Rayver as they caught their breathe. Bleu eyes him also and shrugs her shoulders. "Some people have familiar faces," was all she said. Bleu continued walking around the market, taking in as much as she could. It was easier knowing her way around town than in a castle. And that wasn't pretty. The first time her parents and maid had let her gone exploring ended up disastrous. She accidentally let the horses out of the stable and half burnt down the kitchen. It wasn't that she couldn't cook. Oh she can, real good. What happened was the cook (who was as big as an oversized melon) tripped over her tiny body and dropped more than enough wood into the furnace. That was the end of her kitchen trip. Now whenever Bleu wanted to make something, she would go into her hidden chambers and do whatever she wanted.

The smell of food hit her as she was walking. Or them. "You smell that?" Blythe asks sniffing the air. "Its.." he turns his head to find an old man selling bread. It looked like they were just taken out from the oven. "Can we get some?!" He asks Bleu excitedly, acting like the child he was. But who can blame him? Blythe was 20 seconds younger than his sister. Plus, they hadn't eaten anything on their way here. "Sure," Bleu says reaching into her tunic pocket and was met with an empty bag. I was sure I put them here.. or did I forget again? No, no I was sure this time.. her thoughts trailed off as some kids ran away cackling at what they had pickpocketed. The coins from her bag. Her face fell but then returned emotionless again. "Is there something wrong sis?" Blythe asks strolling up to her. Bleu shook her head and fingered the gold button in her pocket. It was something she took to remind her of Cronia when she left. She walks up to the old man and traded him that for a piece of bread. His eyes widen at the sight. The thing was worth more than his own house. "M-Miss, I-I think you-" "No, please keep the change. You deserve it," she swiftly cut him off and headed back to Blythe without a second glance back.

Blythe's eyes shone even more at the sight of the fluffy piece of food in his hands. He bit into it and moaned in pleasure. The two siblings were sitting by an old fountain in silence. And it was the good type of silence.

Tina joyfully skipped through the crowd while humming a tune and shoved a few people out of her way. Her eyes widened when she saw Rayver's blue hair from the distance. "RAYVER!" The little girl skipped more aggressively then eventually shifted her gear to a sprint as she indifferently shoved people out of her way.

Rayver looked over his shoulder after he heard his name and only found a crowded marketplace. He raised a brow then turned back to view the rope stand. "75" The seller announced to Rayver with a wide smile. "Nah 60. It's got some loose threads don't ya see it?" Rayver attempted to lower the cost of the thick rope. This type was twice as thick as the kind that Joe was carrying. "Plus haul assist! You can't carry this by yourself lad" The man replied in a serious manner. "No haul assist needed! I'll do it myself sir!" Rayver challenged the man and tilted his head a bit to the side. "Nonsense!" The man snorted. "Sense! Why don' ya bet me huh?" Rayver replied with a smile. "Twenny the rope to see ya haul it yurself!" The man replied running his hand along his long sideburns. "Hunnred if you can't!" The merchant added. "Deal!" Rayver agreed picking up the end of the rope and pulling it over his shoulder. The merchant leaned on his stall watching the "ridiculous boy" "attempting" to carry away a 150 foot in length rope that was 3 inches thick. Impossible.

ENTIRELY POSSIBLE!
Rayver thought to himself flipping a "twenny" onto the merchant's little table. His eyes scanned the area and spotted a few wooden boxes piled on top of one another next to some wooden barrels near by. "Are you using this?" Rayver asked looking at a thick metal spike lying on the merchant's table. "No. You gonna use it? HA useless..." The merchant replied getting ready for Rayver to add eighty to his payment. Rayver grabbed the spike and tugged on the rope as walked toward an empty barrel. The prince kicked the barrel over to it's side and steadied it on the ground with his leg to avoid the object from rolling. He forced the spike into his end of the rope with his hands, kept the spike in the rope, and picked up a stone from the ground. Rayver put the pierced rope onto the barrel's side surface. His hands aimed the spike at the middle of the barrel's wall and hammered lightly at the spike with the stone causing it to pierce through the barrel. The merchant continued to watch this time with a raised brow. Rayver dropped the stone back and glanced at the merchant. He waved at the guy smiling like his usual self, "See ya sir!" The man smiled at Rayver, "Where's my hunnred-...huh?" The merchant's expression quickly changed to a shocked one when he saw Rayver rolling the barrel away. He rolled the barrel away from the rope causing the rope to continuously loop itself around the barrel and easily roll away. "AH!" The merchant's hands flew to his head. "COME BACK HERE YOU THIEF! WAAAH I LOST 55!" He sulked at his stand and shooed away his next customer. Rayver smiled as he rolled the barrel. It was one of his most successful deals yet.

Blythe finished eating and stood up stretching. "Hey sis, can we go somewhere?" he asks looking at her with pleading eyes. Bleu sighs and shook her head. "We better get back to the ship. Everyone's probably waiting right now," she told him. Blythe started sulking and crossed his arms when a little girl skipped passed him yelling, Rayver? "Hey kid!" he calls, "Who're you looking for?" he asks.

Bleu stood on the side line just watching the two engage themselves in a conversation with a blank face. Her thoughts swirled around everything that happened today. First she was called early from her chambers to change and then gets brought to the ship saying she would have to "strengthen the bond" with some total stranger... Huh.. Not bad for someone who just turned 18.

(I hate writing long posts.. its just too long to write..)

Tina turned her head to look at Blythe, "Rayver!" She stopped in her tracks losing sight of him, "Oh great now I can't find him! WHY?!" Her hands flew to her head as she furrowed her brows and glared at Blythe. "You! IT'S YOUR FAULT!" Tina whined then became teary eyed.

Rayver made it to the dock, "For 20". He rolled the roped up barrel to Joe and lifted it onto a box. "I'll ask him later what you did" Joe replied knowing that that was an impossible price. "We made a deal, and pulled through with it. I'm adhering to my word of honor" Rayver responded grabbing a sledge hammer from the side of Joe's boat. "And what do you plan on doing with that?" Joe asked nodding toward the hammer. "...this sir" Rayver striked the top of the barrel causing it to break. He pulled out the wood from the rope and smiled at Joe, "It even stayed coiled up".

"W-WHAT?!" Blythe cries out in despair. "I-I didn't- What did I do?!" he asks bending down to get down to her height.

Bleu was snapped out of her trance as the commotion between the two started. Blythe.. always starting a ruckus. She clicked her tongue and walks up to the little girl. "Is anything the matter?"

"AHHH!" Tina pushed Blythe and stuck her tongue out at him. "HE'S BEING A MEANIE HEAD!" She whined still glaring at the guy. "My sweetheart was in my sight but NOOO!" The little girl growled.

Bleu slightly smiles at the little girl and glared at Blythe who just groaned in protest. "Not you too.." he muttered sticking his tongue out at the girl. Bleu shook her head and turned back to the kid. "What's your name?" she asks ruffling Tina's head. "Maybe I.." She stole a glance at Blythe. "We can help you." Her brother groans in annoyance mumbling the words 'I hate you'.

"T-Tina" The girl responded looking down in a sad manner. She wiped her eyes with her sleeves. "Okay" Tina said looking up at Bleu with somewhat hopeful eyes. Rayver sat down on the dock and took a blade in his hand, "Do I have to leave by carriage? It's weird just sitting in a vibrating box and hearing horses". "That is what your parents requested. You just got to get used to it" Joe responded glancing at the prince then returning to his work. Rayver would rather ride an actual horse than sit in a carriage. "Okay, okay" Rayver said picking up a chunk of wood and carving it into a spike.

"Alright Tina, do you have any idea where he is?" Bleu asks with a soft voice. Even if she doesn't show it, she has a soft spot for kids. Especially strong ones like this girl. She stood up at the same time Blythe does and took hold of Tina's tiny hands. "Show me the way." Blythe silently murmured curse words at his sister for helping a stranger but under that façade, he was happy to be helping a little girl in need.

"He's either at home or at the docks....let's try the docks!" Tina suggested looking up at Bleu and smiling. "You're nice" She added still smiling.

"Don' cut yourself boy" Joe said eyeing Rayver. "I've done this too many times to do that Uncle" Rayver replied still carving away. "Never hurts to say so" The sailor responded pulling some sails into his boat. "Help me will ya? I won't need the spikes till later. You can rest from that" Joe said. Rayver nodded and stood up as he picked up some thick rolled up sails.

Bleu gave her a sad smile back. "Yes, very nice." And was quiet the whole way there. Blythe looks at her with sympathy and kept walking with his head down. They managed to get to the docks without bringing up a lot of commotion. Their ship was still there and the crew was unloading all the cargo that was shipped from Cronia. People were pushing others out of the way to see what was happening. Blythe took this opportunity to seize Bleu's arms. He pulled her back as she lets go of Tina's hand.

"Shouldn't we maybe.. you know, get out of here?" he asks.

"Why?"

"Why? What do you mean 'why'? What if someone recognizes us?"

Bleu yanked her arm from his. "Well, we cant just leave the girl." Blythe sighs rubbing the back of his neck, debating on what to do. "Argh fine, we get her to wherever she needs to go and then we'll sneak back onto the ship alright?" Bleu nods her head in response and continues to follow after Tina.

"RAYVER!" Tina screamed at the top of her lungs as she ran toward the blue haired prince with open arms. Rayver looked over his shoulder while he carried a rolled up sail over his other shoulder, "Sh! Tina!" "EEEEEE! Rayver..." The little girl hugged him and nuzzled her face into his shirt. "Don't yell so loud next time okay? Let me put this down first. I don't want to hit you" He said gently dropping the sails into the boat. Rayver carried the little girl in his arms, "Now, what's up huh? What got you screaming?" His gaze shifted to the two red heads standing there. They seemed to have helped Tina arrive there. Rayver smiled at the two, "Hello! Are you two new here?"

"Yes we are. Do you mind showing-" A jab in the arm from Blythe quietened Bleu. She gave him a sharp look but he just shrugged. So much for being nice.. she thought turning to her stone face again. "What my sister meant to say was it was nice meeting you and Tina," he forced the last words out of his mouth. Brat, was what he was thinking but doesn't say it. Instead, Blythe smiled and made a motion of goodbye. He bowed and veered Bleu away from them.

The two had barely managed to slip past the crowd when the captain came up to them. He was a much bigger and older man than Blythe. He easily picks him up by the collar. "Whe' were ye boy?" Captain Sai asks. It wasn't that he hated the prince, no. Blythe just always seem to lag off whenever he was needed to help unload something. "We were just.. exploring," Blythe answers struggling to get out of Sai's hard grip. The captain's head snapped towards Bleu as he said 'we'. He let Blythe down and bowed his head. "I-I'm sorry Princess-" he was cut off by her placing a hand on his shoulders. She held a rare playful smile on her lips. "Blythe's afraid of Father so threaten to take him back to Cronia and he'll work," she whispered in his ears before walking away with a mysterious glint in her eyes. Captain Sai looks after her Bleu as she walked away, not really expecting that type of response since they hardly ever talk. He then looks at Blythe with a dashing smile. Blythe sweatdropped and cowered, immediately on defence. "W-What did Bleu tell you?" he asks shakily. "Oh something useful~" Captain smirks. Blythe widen his eyes. "BLEUUUUU!"

Rayver gave a confused look then smiled and waved. "How are you cutie?" Tina asked pinching Rayver's cheeks. Rayver laughed, "Shouldn't I be asking you that?" "Too bad I asked first!" Tina replied being put down by Rayver. "I'm okay how are you princess?" He asked looking at her. "Delighted prince. Are you excited to go back to your castle? What do you think the King and Queen need to tell you? Perhaps you will slay a dragon or save someone's life! OH! You'll save mine!" The little girl stood on top of the box and fell back. "Hey!" Rayver quickly ran over and caught her before she could land on the ground. "I'm not sure just don't do that again" The prince said putting the girl back down. "Oh come on imagine stuff! ...what if they tell you that you need to find someone and marry her? FIND ME!" Tina yelled. Rayver laughed as he pulled some rope off board, "Tina you're too young. I can't marry you...you're 6". "I'll wait for you Rayver! I promise!" She replied with hopeful eyes. "It should be the other way around. You don't have to wait for me I would have to wait for you. Regardless, I can't Tina" Rayver replied truthfully to the girl. "You'll forever be in my heart" Tina said looking dramatically up at the blue sky. Joe appeared out of no where, "Ay boy almost time to leave!"

"Tis time te leave," the Captain announced to the two siblings. Two horses were presented to them at the docks. Bleu and Blythe each climbed onto one. Bleu got the dappled-grey. Blythe, the spotted caramel. The two waved goodbye to the crew and made their way into the city.

"Good luck," Captain Sai says as their figure faded into the sunset. "Round 'er up men! We be heading home!"

The two came to a halt on their horses as the castle came into view. They looked like a huge mess. Nothing to be considered royalty. Two guards were awaiting them. "Halt! Who goes there?" one demanded with a southern accent.

"Prince Blythe and Princess Bleu from Cronia," they both said at the same time. The guards looked up and to their surprise, it was the royal siblings. Quickly, they bowed and opened the door so the two could walk through and took the horses. Bleu tried to straighten out her hair to look a little more presentable to the king and queen. As of now, she was a mess. They both were. The two stole glances at each other before making their way into the throne room.

"Got to go bye Tina" Rayver hugged the girl then saw George running to the docks. "Rayver! Their ship arrived!" George yelled from his distance. Rayver furrowed his brows and shifted his gaze to the boats along the docks. There was a crowd surrounding one of them. How had he not noticed? Oh, the little girl, the new people, the rope, and everything else. Okay, that was valid. "Did they send a messenger?" Rayver questioned walking toward George. "Yes that and ya can see the boat!" George responded seeing Joe run to him as well. "Best get ready boy! You're all ruffled up from doing all this work!" Joe said huffing for breath. "...ah please tell the messenger I'm on my way. Tell him or her to say that I'm in the practice arena at the castle" Rayver said dashing to their house. "That's a bluff!" George yelled. "AH DO IT! Boy knows what he's talking about!" Joe said patting George on the back and following Rayver to their house. George did as he was told and ran to their house as well.

Rayver quickly packed some clothes into a sack and tied it to a horse. He ran out the house, "This is what I mean when I say I don't do carriages! Bye!" Rayver got on the horse and waved as it ran off. "I mean...farewell citizens!" The prince corrected himself as he rode to the castle.

Some guy announced the siblings' arrival and the King waved for them to be allowed inside. He and the queen watched as they walked into the throne room. "Bleu, Blythe I am sure you are both aware of the agreement that your parents and I have worked on together. Are you or are you not aware?" The King eyed Bleu in particular since she was the one that was going to marry the prince.

Rayver and the horse were running pass a lake when he picked up a bucket and dipped it into the body of water. "Hiya!" He said to the horse causing it to go faster. Rayver pulled his shirt off and stuffed it into the extra empty sack that was always tied to the side of that horse. The prince looked around to confirm that he was the only one in the location and pulled his pants off as well. It was tricky because he had to keep adjusting his position on the horse. "Hiya!" Rayver called out again pouring the water onto himself so that it also acted like a whip to the horse because of the sudden feeling. He grabbed his clean set of clothes from the opposite sack and quickly wore them as the horse traveled faster.

"We are aware of the reason why we came, Sire," Bleu says with a curtsy. The intense gaze the King was giving Bleu didn't faze her. Nor did it faze Blythe. Blythe bowed along with his sister, acting as mature as he possibly can. First impressions are always the best. Bleu bent back up. "Your Highness, if I may ask, where is the prince?"

(sorry short reply)

Okay now he was all cleaned up and ready to go! Within a few moments Rayver arrived at the castle and nodded at a few guards, "Do not open the gates. Please bring this horse over to the side with the other ones. Please get the garments in the sacks cleaned. I will be entering from the side". He ran to the right side of the castle and saw his usual rock climbing route. They were the few stones that were out of proportion with the rest of the castle's outer wall. Rayver climbed up the wall and hopped down onto the archers' zone, "Hello soldiers keep up the great work". He smiled as they waved. The prince jumped down from the archers' zone on top of the outer wall and onto the shoulder of a tall statue. His gaze shifted around the area spotting out his "dangerous" route that his mother had seen him travel through. Rayver made a jump for a steel banner holder that has horizontal to the ground and grabbed onto it. His momentum helped him to swing and let go to grab other banner holders. Finally, he landed on another statue and climbed down from it. The prince waved at the guards who then let him inside the castle from the side door. He dodged the few glances his parents would make to the side of the throne room and sneakily ran into the practice arena.

The King looked to one of his assistants and said, "Call for Rayv-". "Surely your pathway will have conflicts with the opposing troop's archers from the west. Aim for a diagonal pathway with the least difficult geographical variations. We shall have another look later" Rayver explained walking into the throne room with the General. Thoughts ran through Rayver’s mind. What was the surprise that his parents were going to tell him about? All he was able to conclude prior to the event was that the kingdom had some new visitors from another kingdom due to the ship he had seen earlier. That was it. “Father, Mother” The prince bowed once he got to a certain area of the throne room.

Blythe cranes his head to the sound of a familiar voice. It was the boy from the market. He slightly nudges Bleu, who was already staring at him. They exchanged glances at each other. Who would thought Prince Rayver was the guy they saw in town? And he was working alongside the townspeople too. The person they saw in their eyes was another arrogant bastard. But this, this changed the who view of him. Bleu curtsied again and Blythe bowed down. "Your Highness," they said in unison, their heads still bent low. It was indicated towards the prince. Not one of them was able to meet his eyes, in fear this was all just another deceiving trick played on them.

The King was surprised by his son’s entrance. He thought that the prince would arrive late. Perhaps he hadn’t seen Rayver arrive through the gates earlier? “Rayver” The King greeted moving his hand up so that it signaled his son to stand erect again.

Rayver stood back straight up and smiled. The Queen was also surprised by Rayver’s entrance. She smiled back at her son knowing he had his way with things/ he came up with some plan to probably sneak into the throne room on time. Rayver heard voices greet him in unison. He looked over to his side to view the two new people he had just seen in the village. The prince started, “You may both rise". He paused then smiled once he recognized them, "…I know you two. Welcome to Vasacar”.

The King raised a brow once he heard Rayver’s familiarity with the two other royals. The Queen noticed her husband’s facial expression and decided to take matters into her own hands. “Rayver, we must discuss something with you” She said looking at her son. “Yes mother?” Rayver asked focusing his attention on the Queen. “As you know, Cronia was our rival. Now they are not because their King and Queen and your father and I have come to a compromise” The Queen explained. “That is wonderful mother” Rayver smiled a little at the whole peace among kingdoms thing. “You are going to marry Bleu” She stuck her arm out and gestured over to Bleu. “…Bleu, Princess of Cronia” The Queen continued slightly smiling. “…W-we just met” Rayver responded not really knowing how to react to the surprise. “For the sake of the two kingdoms you two will marry one another. Also, that is her twin Prince Blythe” She replied. The prince faced the two siblings again and bowed at them, "...pleasure to meet you both".

"The pleasure is all mine," Bleu says on instinct with another curtsy. Blythe nodded along with his sister's statement. He knew that if he messed up this arrangement, their kingdom will fall apart. "I hope we will get along," he added to Bleu's comment. They both realized Rayver was the one who was at the town but not one of them questioned it. Their lives were on the line. If not killed in Vasacar, their parents will have their heads if they come back empty handed.
