Personality:
Lily is a very quiet person, though she does share her opinion if she feels like its needed and she knows how to play the role of the perfect noble when needed, but she can be pretty rebelious if she wants to or has to. Though she is not above using her high rank and status for her own gain, or those of her friends. She doesn't give her opinion on the Fire Lord if asked because she knows her answer could get her in a lot of trouble. She is used to being treated with the highest honor a fire nation noble can, but has seen how the poor live and doesn't make a fuss about being forced to stay somewhere less then she's used too. However due to her being at sea for several years she hasn't really complained about it.

Past:
Born to an important noble family Lilian was expected to accept the ways of the fire nation as the norm, she did, until she realized that all she learned was to show her that the fire nation was above everything else, but she kept playing her role. One day, while sparring with one of her brothers her flames went further then usual and nearly burned down their shed, but she didn't know why it happened, as it didn't happen every time, that is, until she went to get a toy from the roof and slipped, falling towards the pond, in her panic she somehow bended the air under her to slow her fall (no one saw this), so she didn't get injured upon falling into the water. that was the moment she realized she could airbend, knowing how the Avatar training worked she knew she wasn't the avatar, but she still hid it from everyone while training in secret, until she left home at the same time Zuko was banished, she needed the Avatar for different reasons, so she convinced the Fire Lord to let her go along with Zuko to train him and keep an eye on him. Currently they're at a colony to restock on tea for whatever reason, as Iroh has plenty more.

Kai’s childhood was filled with the expectations of maintaining his family’s status, but his mind often drifted away from politics. Position in nation: Exiled Daughter of a Chief of the Narwhal Sharks Tribe
Bender: Water (Healing) and Earth
Personality: Kaya is slow to warm to people due to past betrayal, so can initially be cold and taciturn among new people. She is direct and quick to speak her mind not caring about how she appears, with a sarcastic and sardonic sense of humour. Though slow to trust, she is loyal and protective of those who earn the trust with great care of helping those in need and would do anything for her people.
Past: Kaya was born to war and sea. Her tribe were settled on small island off the coast of the South Pole once known to be excellent traders and fisherman until the start of the Hundred Year War. Beset constantly by Fire Nation Raids, the tribe turned themselves to pirates and raiders, doing their best to hold off the fire nation fleet. Though they had some success for several years, the attacks by the fire nation took their toil and the tribe had to abandon their village and islands, becoming nomadic using their seamanship to keep ahead of the fire nation navy, only ever having temporary settlements in the coast for no more than days before backing up and moving on. Occasionally raiding lone fire nation and odd earth nations ships for supplies.

Despite her birth as a water tribe princess, she did live a life of privilege. From young age she had to help the tribe in the travels, whether it was packing, sailing or setting up camps and later on fighting and raiding. When she was 12 she discovered she was a water bender, the only one seemingly remaining from her tribe and first in generations (or so claimed), a fact which was considered a good omen by her tribe and she was seen as the harbinger of the tribes survival and victory over the fire nation and maybe even lead their tribe to return to their home island. Her father was a particular believer who trained his daughter hard specifically for this perceived destiny.

However, it was not meant to be as her tribe was betrayed and led to an ambush leading to the lost of the tribe and her capture. She was put under strict guard before being escorted to the Fire Island prison for water benders. She was helpless until the ship took a temporary stop on an island along the way. It was the first time she had seen fresh earth and discovered her ability with earth bending. Though she could not use it that, that realization allowed her to manage an escape when the opportunity arrived. She stowed on a ship making her way to the Fire Nation colonies.
