Now what?
A list of Known Entities and Organizations within the WorldI will add more to each respective party, should I notice an increased interest in them. I don't have time to expand on all of them equally, and so will focus on the relevant ones. I will over time add more here, when I have time - maybe expanding some more on the finer details. Most of these people have a loose canon in my head, and if you want more info about them - please do not hesitate to ask me, should it pertain to your character.

Neo-Republic CityCurrent Leader: President Hako, an influential and brilliant woman with ties to the Northern Water Tribe
A powerful and influential city, well regarded as the capital of the world - long since having stolen it from Ba Sing Se. A centre for business, trade, production and innovation it houses some of the greatest minds from all over the world. It also serves as a hub for finance and capital for most nations, securing much of their stock and capital in it. It can be a hard place to survive, with prices of everyday goods skyrocketing and living arrangements often being beyond the everyday person to finance on their own. Is has a ruthless underbelly that is partly let be by the local law enforcement, as a means of letting the darker elements let off steam and undermining any sort of expanding threat or resentment. People here are driven to work and work hard. They spend their evenings out, hanging with friends in bars on the streets, or in clubs where the music drowns out any sort of disquiet. In the mornings they make their way back to work, in a monotonous drive towards building something bigger. Better. And for most... completely inconsequential. Most of the harder work is done in the Northern and Southern Districts (previously Northern and Southern Republic City respectively) - leading to many taking the Maglev train system in the mornings, through the spirit portal to work. The actual district set within the Spirit World is one of excess and power, where the rich and the famous hang out, in elaborate homes made of unusual materials. The only reason it is not considered to be the centre of Neo-Republic city is that historical Republic City is still by far the largest of the four sectors, and draws in the most people.

The United ForcesCurrent Leader: General Konrah, a powerful waterbender from the south, who commands the fleet
Perhaps the greatest concentration of military and tactical minds since that of the Fire Nation near the end of the Hundred Year War. Made up of seven aircraft carriers, one helicarrier (known around the world as the Zu Li II) and a series of submarines, combat aircraft, to over one million trained fighters when taking into consideration forces pledged from the four nations. They travel across the oceans, keeping in check pirate activity and any major threats that might resurface. They also have a special corps that deal with spirit activity, which is often sent all over the world to deal with problematic spirits and dark entities. Many people see them mostly as tools or flexing for those in charge, something to scare away any competitors or would be despots. Those within the Forces, however, take great pride in what they do - and are notoriously helpful and accommodating to those they serve, always keen on showing the world that they are still relevant.

The Neo-Republic City Police Department (NRCPD)Current Leader: D.I. Haddon, a famed ex-pro bender, with the rare ability to lavabend
One of the few, no-nonsense, cut to business organisations within the city. With very little room for anything less than accurate and speedy justice, they don’t take kindly to bureaucrats or politicians pushing into business they are not a part of. With a history of anti-corruption campaigns and the willingness to go to extremes to prove both the innocence, but also - if needed, the guilt of those who wrong Neo-Republic City, the NRCPD, with its special Metal Bending Crops and its Spirit Bending Teams, maintain peace and order within the city, at any cost, no holds barred. Often willing to make hard decisions, when politicians can't.

Future IndustriesCurrent Leader: Choziko Sato, the brilliant daughter of Tahan Sato - famed adoptive son of Asami and Korra
Being the only company capable of providing the technology needed for The United Forces, Future Industries builds anything from Jetcraft to Super-Aircraft Carriers. They also have contracts to maintain the Spirit Railways and have fingers in most other forms of technological and civil engineering. Choziko is well known as being the richest person alive and spends most of her time - outside of being in her lab - throwing lavish fundraisers or donating to various charities. She is also the founder of the Korrasami Grant, which allows thousands of poorer students to go to school or and flourish.

Wongyong EnergiesCurrent Leader: Tinon Wongyong, grandson of the original Wongyong, and founder of the new company
A recent addition to the series of major businesses settled in Neo-Republic City, Wongyong Energies - or WE - serves as the primary source of power for the city. Tinon uses advanced reactors of his own design, along with his unusual ability to charm and win over the affections of spirits, to employ them and have them work at his reactors, drawing vast reserves of power from them directly. Due to the vast amount of power he can produce, which undercuts the need for more ineffective means of power production, few people ask many questions. He has recently started making vast amounts of money on government contracts, and as such, has drawn a lot of interest.

Cabbage CorpCurrent Leader: Director and CEO Larsizi, a descendant of the original cabbage man, and a brilliant bio-engineer
The company, never having been able to catch up to Future Industries in Engineering and Technology, focused its efforts on its roots. Developing food production on a massive scale, they are on the cutting edge of bioengineering and have recently begun building ‘city’ farms - tall towers that are filled with green, brightening the city, in which they grow basic foods, and then extract nutrients and proteins from them, and recreate variant food sources at much cheaper rates than most. They create bio-ink to print new and interesting foods, modifying seeds and generally improving food quality in the long run. Many people are somewhat distrusting of this, but the poor, who can not afford much better are grateful for it, and it has raised the company's image greatly over the last few years. It is one of the few companies to actively campaign after the death of Avatar Li, claiming that the world was finally free from its infancy and that humanity no longer needed to be cared for as though it were a child.

The Pro-Bending CircuitCurrent Leader: City-funded, overseen by Ri Beifong, a veteran of The United Forces and great-granddaughter of Toph
Much like it was in the past, with more and more companies buying teams at the start of each season and spending more and more money in training them, refining their uniforms, advertising, buying players and so on. The nature of the game has stayed the same, however, with more teams, larger brackets and generally just more of everything. The level of skill to take part on this level has increased nearly tenfold, and it takes years of practice for even a master bender to take part competitively.

The Triple Threat TriadCurrent Leader: Shaale, a moody Airbender and intense young man from the poorest parts of the city
A team of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water benders - which technically should have them change the name, but they decided to keep it for posterity’s sake. They move around the underbelly, feeding on the rich and the poor alike, but keep it muted - for they know that if the government had not allowed them to be - to serve as a sort of pressure release valve for the crime in the city - they would be wiped out before dawn. If you need to move something stolen, or get out of the city without someone noticing, they can do it… for a price.

The Empty HandCurrent Leader: Hinzhen, a very skilled martial artist and chi blocker
A gang of non-benders who all specialize in non-bending based combat. There is an undercurrent of support for the teachings of Amon, still - some feeling that much of what he said still counted, despite his lies. They are known for upgrading their bodies with cybernetics - and revel in the idea that most benders can't do the same - since bending most of the time requires biomaterial and chi paths to bend effectively.

Freedom ForceCurrent Leader: Mahrenn, an outlier political advocate who moves around the world, looking for corruption and chaos
A group of activists, sometimes terrorists, who seek any sense of chaos and corruption within the world and will stop at nothing to root it out. They have strong ties to sand bending communes, swamp benders, and even the remnants of the Kyoshi warriors. They use unusual tactics and will most likely know of rising conflict before anyone else, due to having one foot on the wrong side of the law, and the other being the law.

The Zaofu Research and Development CenterCurrent Leader: Tai Beifong, arguably the world’s best metal bender, with rumours that he is able to bend glass
A centre in the middle of Neo-Republic City, which develops Bending theory, and is on the forefront of bending science. Unusually gifted benders and brilliant minds are more often than not brought here, where they spend years refining their craft. There are other centres all over the world, but this one is the largest and the most developed. They are also at the forefront of cybernetic research, looking for ways to make cybernetics capable of channelling chi, which would allow bending to be done with them. At this moment, however, this is still beyond them.

The White LotusCurrent Leader: Grandlotus Rohan, the son of councilman Tenzin and a master Airbender
An almost defunct group, desperately in search of the avatar despite its dwindling numbers. Few still have faith in it, but Future Industries keeps it well funded and supports its goals. They also believe that there was something amiss with the death of Avatar Li and that he might not have killed himself, or at least did not do so willingly. The Red Lotus is considered wiped out, and no-one knows if it is still active in secret.

The Four Nations
The Earth RepublicCurrent Leader - President Han Lo, a magnanimous ruler who is intent of securing The Earth Republic as a primary economic force
The Earth Republic maintains the most of its roots, finding that most of its power still resides in Ba Sing Se, and that much of the wealth of Republic City pours out directly to it, in order to buy natural resources such as ores and grain. Future Industries have many mega-factories in the various states of the Earth Republic, employing thousands and flooding the economy. The various states that make up the Earth Republic all still hold some sort of loyalty towards the capital, as it serves to equalise their influence on a level political and social field. While each state may have its own forces, there is a general oversight by the New Dai Li - or NDL, a security group loyal to the Earth Republic, but not subject to its laws. It serves to oversee the goings on, monitor external threats and often serves as an informant for The United Forces. The NDL stands far beyond any other single agency in information gathering and oversight. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, the Earth Republic is by far the most peaceful of the four nations, with the least interest in expanding. Rather they maintain their borders and mine resources - focus on enriching the people and maintaining alliances with Neo-Republic city.

The Fire NationCurrent Leader - Firelord Ezrai, a social figurehead with military and political training, but who defers to councils and other elected officials
While still a powerful force, much of the fire nation is now focussed on either being part of The United Forces, or working in Neo-Republic City. The Fire Nation homeland has become a sort of retreat space, away from the business of NRC and the industry of the Earth Republic. Instead, they have beautiful farmlands, pristine coastlines, and some of the greatest arts and music programmes on the planet. Many rich and elderly people tend to retire here, spending their final years exploring their hobbies. The Fire Nation also maintains the greatest presence of Non-Combat Bending, and many children from here still learn to bend as part of their school curriculum. As such, many pro-benders tend to come from here instead of from the other countries, as they have a greater chance of starting their training at an early age.

The Air NomadsCurrent Leader - n/a
The Air Nomads have for a long time rescinded their presence within politics and society, returning to their temples, having long since been rebuilt. As the great traditions of the Airbenders have been maintained and returned, they no longer travel with the goal of serving the avatar, instead, keeping with their traditions, and exploring spirituality. Many often seek them out, abandoning lives of currency and technology to live in their temples, where they take in anyone from any creed with any kind of bending. Officially they don’t condone the exploitation of nature and the spirits, but they also don’t intervene, believing that eventually, time will set right that which is wrong.

The Water TribesCurrent Leaders - The Twin Chiefs Komokah (north) and Sokonah (south), two very ambitious young men who were born from a marriage between the northern and southern Chiefs. They rule the two tribes apart, but consult each other daily,
With the Southern and Northern tribes having been connected through the portals, they have over time become almost indistinguishable from one another. Providing NRC with fishing, ice, water and healers, the water tribes have become a vital part of the maintenance of NRC. Using spirit bending to calm and maintain the spirit presence has become one of the greatest services the tribes offer, but some among them feel like they are slowly losing the cultures they had before in order to curry favour with the NRC, and those within it who can make the tribes rich and powerful. Vast shipping yards employ many Water Tribe people, building fishing vessels, as well as some military contracts.

Club Deltorra
a7a790ad42931febb41d71c240fbe3ef-d5cboey.jpg
One of the many nightclubs that populate Neo-Republic City, the Deltorra is far from the highlight of the city's nightlife, although that's pretty much the point. Frequented mostly by middle and lower class citizens, the Deltorra is perhaps a staple of what many would call the Shady side of NRC. Blending in with every building around it, its one of those places that most would overlook unless familiar with the territory and nightlife community. On the inside one will find the usual Nightclub standards, flashy lights, a bar, dancefloor and just enough security to dissuade drunks and thugs. Unbeknownst to many, the Deltorra is a front for the Triple Threat Triad, though the extreme lack of benders is often enough to curtail this specific suspicion.

The Club's owner, Kwan Yeshe, is literally the only bender on staff. An old airbending mercenary who many assumed would settle after his retirement, Kwan used his funds to establish the Deltorra citing his lifelong appreciation for liquor as a primary motivator. However, since the club was opened Kwan has allowed the Triple Threats to use it for a variety of illegal dealings.

Tandoori
(I can't find a picture that works)
Tandoori is a small restaurant nestled in a very modernized area, it looks out of place. Small, only able to have about 20 patrons at a time inside, it resembles a more traditional restaurant, with a menu to match. Traditional plates from each nation, with revived Air Nomad cuisine, it's a popular spot with the older residents of Neo-Republic City, as well as those who maybe aren't the biggest fans of all the technology. Owned and Operated by a man most people just call Uncle, it has a very friendly, and rather cozy atmosphere. And this is a great place if your on a budget.
