"Before we take off, please direct your attention to the safety demonstration. Your seatbelt should be fastened whenever seated. To fasten, insert the metal tip into the buckle and pull the strap to tighten. To release, lift the buckle flap.
In the event of cabin pressure changes, oxygen masks will drop from the panel above you. Pull the mask toward you, place it over your nose and mouth, and secure it with the elastic band. Be sure to put on your mask before assisting others.
Your life vest is located beneath your seat. In case of an emergency water landing, slip the vest over your head, fasten the straps, and pull the tab to inflate. For manual inflation, blow into the red tube.
There are four emergency exits on this aircraft, located at the front and back of the plane. Two are in the front and two are in the back. Please take a moment to locate the exit nearest you. Floor lighting will guide you in low visibility conditions.
At this time, please ensure your seatbacks and tray tables are in their upright and locked positions, and that all carry-on items are properly stowed. Electronic devices should be set to airplane mode until we reach cruising altitude."

Flying has been safe for years. Sure, every now and then there’s a crash, but there are car crashes all the time. Flying, for the most part, is safe.
Maybe you won your ticket for this flight. Maybe your original flight was delayed, and a kind stewardess offered you this seat instead. Or perhaps it was a gift from someone who loved you—a rare chance to fly on Avaris, one of the most prestigious and luxurious airlines in the world. No matter your story, you found yourself aboard Flight 424, a flight few would ever experience. Everything was perfect. The safety instructions. The warm smiles of the flight attendants as they handed out drinks and meals. The smoothest takeoff you’ve ever felt. Maybe you closed your eyes for a nap, letting the hum of the engines lull you into relaxation.
Then, your luck ran out.
At first, nothing seemed amiss. Then the slightest tremor. Turbulence. The kind that makes your stomach flip but passes within seconds. Only it didn’t pass. The trembling grew violent. The oxygen masks dropped. You grabbed one without hesitation, pressing it over your mouth. Others did the same. A moment of panic, but still, nothing that couldn’t be explained.
Until the purple vapor began to seep into the cabin.
It glimmered under the dim cabin lights, curling like mist, rising in thick tendrils from nowhere and everywhere all at once. You watched it slither past seats, creeping toward you. The air you breathed turned violet—your oxygen mask useless. Passengers coughed. Some tried to stand, to move, to run—only to stumble, their bodies growing heavy.
And then, you saw him: A man with shoulder-length red hair, a top hat, and a long coat walked down the aisle, humming an odd tune. The melody was foreign, unsettling, yet eerily familiar—like a half-remembered dream. His footsteps were silent against the carpet. His gaze passed over you, unreadable, knowing.
Then—blackness.
When you woke, everything had changed. Avaris Flight 424 lay buried in overgrown ruins, its sleek metal frame now a rusted relic swallowed by nature. Seventy years had passed. But you hadn’t aged a day. The world you knew was gone—civilization had collapsed into a medieval-like existence, where the last remnants of lost technology were hoarded by an oppressive regime known as the Dominion. The people feared what little remained of the past, whispering of “the Devil’s Fire” and “the Ruin’s Curse.” But the Dominion knew better. The Dominion had been waiting for you. You apparently are very special.
Something was wrong. Your body felt the same, yet… different. Small, unnatural things began to happen. for one of you there was whispers in the wind, another: flickers in the shadows, perhaps another of you, glimpses of something that hadn’t yet occurred. The power was subtle at first, but it was growing. And then, in the dead of night, came the humming. The same tune, echoing in your mind, even when there was no one there.
Because he was still with you.
The red-haired man.
You saw him in reflections, in dreams, in flickers of the periphery. His presence was neither comforting nor hostile. He was not quite real, yet not entirely gone. Sometimes he seemed to guide you. Other times, he lured you straight into danger. Was he warning you? Testing you? Or was he something worse?
The Dominion is closing in, hunting you for the truth behind Avaris Flight 424. But there is another truth, deeper still—one hidden in the purple vapor, in the red-haired man’s song, in the thing you are becoming.
You could escape into the nearby town to discover answers, you could remain hidden in the ruins. You could try fighting the Dominion, or perhaps hunting down the red haired man. So many options...but you will need each other for survival.

Hello everyone! Thank you for making it this far! As stated above you were a(n) (un)lucky passenger of Avaris Flight 424! You and around 4 others survived and have discovered you have a unique supernatural ability! I will list the abilities below and you may pick one on character creation which we will do in the ooc. If you would like to have another supernatural ability and it is not listed PM me and we can discuss if that would work or not. I am looking for 18+ and if you want to curse please keep it tasteful. As always also keep to the guidelines of the site. I'm looking for peeps who are willing to post at least twice a week if not more. If something comes up (because life gets crazy) please pm me so we can have a reason for your character to go to the side and then return.
Somethings to note:
-I'm looking for about 4 players. If there are already four of you but you are still interested PM me, I'm sure I can figure something out. Just note I might have you working for the Dominion or the red haired man.
- Everyone has seen the man with red hair, he has made eye contact with every one.
-Everyone can hear his humming as the story needs for it to.

- you can manipulate small shadows in dim light.
you can hear the thoughts of others, but only when focusing on that person and your eyes are closed.- you can heal unnaturally fast, but only at night
- You hear people’s heartbeats when they feel strong emotions. sometimes, you can influence them to feel your emotions, if you trade your emotions for theirs.
- Your hands sometimes pass through objects. You may do this but only with one body part at a time.
- you can cast illusions that effect one of the senses.
