Auto Save

Drafts need to auto save. Edits you make to posts also need to auto save. I lost progress on a draft I was doing and because I was editing it, have not found any way to recover it. I posted something in Admin Contact but I don't know if there is any way to recover it. We will see.

If your speaking of something in a thread I believe they do auto-save. At least I've gone back to threads where I started to type a reply and found that reply still there waiting for me to press send.

There is also apparently a save draft button. ( lol just noticed it )

It's the button shaped like a floppy disk. I don't know what it does but it says "Save Draft" or "Delete Draft"

Yeah, but it should automatically do this every so often.

Yes so far as I know it does. At least when I type up a reply or even the beginning of a thread and leave for awhile ( usually I'm called afk to handle something IRL ) when I come back the post I began is still there.

This only happens in replies you are typing, @nerdyfangirl. This reply I was editing. It should also auto save edits.

I've had it save edits for me before; after closing and reopening the window my changes were still there even though the post hadn't updated.

It didn't do it for me, @Kaerri.
The feature is going to be better after the update but you should use the workshop or google docs or something else to properly and regularly save stuff you are writing as you are writing it.
