Auto save feature

So I've been having this same problem lately. The auto save feature isn't working for me. If I close out the browser page the post I'm working on will disappear if I don't post it. Some info about me so that you can troubleshoot.


1. I'm using Chrome


2. No the page doesn't crash I'm just closing out of it


3. I'm most often in "more options" when I close and it disappears


4. I have rich text editor off


I just want to know why it's happening so that I know whether I just need to work somewhere else until I'm done and then post it.

It might be because you have rich text editor off. Like the tagging system (which will work, but won't create the drop down select menu without the text editor), I believe the auto-save feature is tied to the rich text editor program.

Drat. Well thanks for the help, I'll probably just work in Word until I'm ready to post it.

That's always the best option, in my humble opinion.


I will follow up with Wiz to confirm that my hunch is correct and I will let you know if I was wrong. (:
