Turn 6
Part 1 of Turn 6
The whirling tires of the mobile command center echoed throughout the school's courtyard. Mvklousy led the secondary charge into the school, armed with artillery turrets, since the High Tides' air craft was far closer to the ground, only hovering over the school's main building. Upon reaching a secure spot to begin his attack, he received notice about the arrival of air reinforcement, "Sergeant MvKlousy and General Rikdeth, air reinforcements are now in your vicinity. Use them as you see fit. Do not fail the Eranyne Empire." MvKlousy gulped a breath of air after the call, fearing that if they were to fail, he'd lose his status as Sergeant. He wondered if the old General truly sought to become emperor. A change in thought to reminiscence occurred in MvKlousy's mind.
When they were young in the military, MvKlousy always heard Rikdeth's boastful goals about becoming emperor to protect the people of the Eranyne Empire. With a bit of luck, Rikdeth grew closer to his goal when he obtained a position as General, and MvKlousy supported him throughout his ambitions. At first, MvKlousy helped the general, believing his goals the ideal for the empire; however, ever since MvKlousy was promoted to Sergeant, he'd began contemplating a way to become general too. Would he still have to aid his comrade, or would he have to leave his friend? That question persisted in his mind, as each day passed, which brought him to his present state of mind: act ambivalently.
On his path to becoming general, MvKlousy spoke neutrally to the general, losing his friendly touch, in favor of declining their close communication. Originally, MvKlousy assumed his actions were cruel, but as he continued in the act, he started to discern himself as a man worthy of the empire's ideals. Cruel methods were simply necessary actions, and no longer was Rikdeth's dream a motivation to MvKlousy. The steady climb and advancement drove MvKlousy to his cold, callous, and deceitful tongue to his old friend, Rikdeth. Yet he knew that he could never hold Rikdeth's ideals up to standard, for Rikdeth cared for his men far more than his own person. Could a man devoted to his people, truly be a candidate for Emperor, or was it an illusion to gather the hearts of the people? Nevertheless, MvKlousy buried those perceptions, and focused himself on the battlefield.
Part 2 of Turn 6
At the school grounds, the mobile command center's team spotted the air craft lifting terrorists into the air vehicle with rope. They fired immediately at the air craft, hoping to prevent its exit from the school. Since air reinforcements were present, they held an advantage in combat now. On the other hand, if the enemy prepared themselves to escape, they'd certainly lack the ability to finish their opponent. Therefore, a barrage of firepower held its ground as a suitable choice. If they damaged the air craft to a great extent, they could force the vehicle to crash, or slow down.
Part 3 of Turn 6
Inside the command center, General Rikdeth's face bared an unwelcoming scowl, filled in with the whites of his teeth. The death of the students, and the death of his own soldiers angered the man beyond anything else. When Dorian failed to relay information, Rikdeth understood the worst had come to his squads. "Men and women. Is it ready?" One of the mechanics rushed forward in a clumsy manner, fearing that the general himself was eager to snap, "U-uh...S-sir. It's well u-uh." The general looked to the shaking mechanic, "English. Please." The mechanic sighed, calming himself before the general, "It's finished, but General, something's gone awry with your Oracle, as if a Virus is infesting the Oracle's data code." General Rikdeth remembered his Oracle's lance piercing deep into the air craft, but that was the only contact his Oracle formed with flying vehicle. "A virus, but how? If they had a virus on the air craft, that would damage their data systems too. Is this virus connected with why I lost fuel so quickly?" A small twinge of the Mechanic's glasses, before he delivered his answer, "W-why, yes. Although, I d-don't know how the V-virus got there, general." A thought sparked in the general's mind: an assassin, or traitor was amidst their fleet, plotting the general's own doom. For Rikdeth, this was the only explanation as to why everything was working so perfectly for the terrorists. "Thank you. What's the fuel efficiency?" Another sigh fled from the mechanic's mouth, "It's at twenty percent general. You have less than an hour, before it needs to refuel." From that answer, the General walked to his Oracle, "Then, let's make the hour count. I shall avenge my fallen comrades."
Part 4 of Turn 6
Frozen in time, frozen in place, and frozen in manner belayed the fate for poor Dorian and his squad. A sadistic, cruel man spoke words of horror onto Dorian, while Dorian's respiratory system failed to respond. And so, his body slumped to the floor, now lifeless, with only his thoughts racing about in his mind. He loved his country more than anything, even if the wars brought upon the empire led to the early deaths of his beloved parents. At least now, he no longed needed to experience the horrors of war, yet death by this method was unfortunate. He thought that such power held no place in this world. His only regret was not protecting his men, who died with him. The once proud squad loyally dedicated to the empire fell at the hands, or rather eyes of a nameless man. All the questions in Dorian's mind remained unanswered, in limbo, since death now approached the man. On the ground, his eyes were open, and his body was contorted in an unhuman stature. The school hallway was littered with the corpses of Dorian's squad.
Part 5 of Turn 6
The two men that followed after William considered themselves accomplished terrorists for the High Tides. They also understood that their lives were forfeit in this situation, since it was suicidal to act as a distraction against the large army of the Eranyne Empire. Still, they continued their decoy strategy with William, because of their Divi Connect relating to this mission. Even at the cost of their lives, they were required personally by Captain Tatankoch to protect Porter at all costs. The two that committed to that Divi Connect were none other than Claudia, an assorted, multifaceted woman; and Yutzel, a bold and violent man. These two individuals accompanied William, hoping to stake themselves as terrorists of the highest honor.
When they fired their set of bullets into the enemy, they saw that their enemies were stationary. Unsure of the enemy's stillness, they still fired, in case the enemy reactions would pick up. Clearly, something was erroneous about the death of the EMF soldiers. Even the proud Yutzel, who reveled in violence, realized the current situation was painstaking to the human eye. Claudia believed William a man filled with delusions of grandeur over his enemies, yet she remained silent, taking the events in her mind at a slow pace. Fortunately, the brave man broke the silence, when he beckoned to William, "William, how did you do that? They didn't move at all. We could gun them down easily." Claudia decided to interject Yutzel, telling him, "Shush. Let's worry about our current situation, you dolt." After Claudia's insult, Yutzel snapped his mouth shut, but he offered a dangerous glare back at Claudia.
Once William ordered Yutzel and Claudia to evacuate, the three were at first faced with a copious amount of enemy snipers and Oracles firing upon them. Certainly the chances of survival were low, since they were outnumbered severely, but still, the area contained plenty of coverage due to the surrounding trees. Luckily for the three, the snipers and Oracles in the forested area departed the area once they received their orders, allowing the three to enter their vehicles freely. That was until, one of Dorian's men, fired a piercing bullet at Yutzel, who remained behind the others. Unlike the other snipers who perished at William's hand, this was a man ordered by Dorian to cover the back entrance. Rather than withdrawing with the others, he stayed behind, awaiting Dorian's orders, proving that his loyalty to the squad was above everything else. Claudia bared no eyes back to her fallen comrade, Yutzel, as she quickly entered her Oracle for a swift flight into the High Tides' air craft. Time was of the essence, and she didn't want to be left behind like poor Yutzel.
As Yutzel laid on the school grounds surrounded by several trees, he contemplated his life in a short, firm manner. He was bleeding out for his cause, yet he always wanted to die in a fight, not by a cowardly shot from a far off sniper. From the ground, he watched Claudia and William's Oracles escape to the air craft. He laughed, relishing that his own comrades abandoned him, even though he understood that he'd do the same to them, if given the opportunity. Due to his rather violent nature, no one would miss him, not even the commander. After all, just last week, he broke someone's nose for looking at him the wrong way. Either way it didn't matter to him. His eyes were slowly drifting away, and soon enough all was dark for Yutzel.
Part 6 of Turn 6
A gun pointed at his head, and a short woman commanding the group. What an unusual sight for Yves Hallor. Yves truly believed himself a citizen of the Eranyne Empire, but here he was being taken in as a prisoner of war; a potential terrorist. He had no choice to remain silent, for if he made the slightest peep, surely the soldiers would fire upon him. Such silence boggled his mind. The only thing his ears heard were the soldiers orders with one another. However, the High Tides' air vehicle, now in full view, since the group exited the building, terrified Yves. If another bombing occurred, that'd be another terrible way to die for Yves. Still, it was odd that all the students and teachers died before him. In his mind, why was he the only survivor? He missed his club members and friends, who he wished survived the odd massacre.
Nyla commanded her troops swiftly to return to the mobile command center. After receiving Harrier's message, she was content with her squad's current pace. Nyla hoped the artillery fire and Oracle reinforcements would end the High Tides for good. She reported to MvKlousy, "We're several hundred yards away from the mobile command center. What is the status?" MvKlousy replied, "We're firing upon them in ten minutes. You should be out of firing range, if you're only several hundred yards away." She twirled her hair in relief, "Thank you Sergeant. I'm bringing a hostage. He claims to be a student." Her message influenced MvKlousy to state, "We will interrogate the potential student at base. It was a good call to not murder him. We're unsure how the terrorists killed a majority of the students and teachers in a short time frame. This will help us out greatly." Once communications ended, Nyla's squad journeyed towards the tank.
Part 7 of Turn 6
Inside the mobile command center, Harrier buried his face in water to cool himself off from the prior stressful battles. Unlike other Oracle pilots, he was quite skilled for his age, but his inexperience meant he was deficit in combative strategies. While the mechanics prepped his Oracle, he found General Rikdeth dressing himself up in pilot attire. He decided to communicate briefly with the general, "General Rikdeth. Soldier Harrier reporting for duty. Is there another Oracle for me to accompany you in? I can still fight, General. My Oracle's just out of fuel." In that moment, General Rikdeth's eyes twinkled in admiration for the soldier's bravery, "Your parents raised you well, Soldier Harrier. Unfortunately, all our Oracles are out of commission and energy for now. Apparently, a virus was planted in some of our vehicles, limiting our energy reserves. We're unsure if your Oracle has been affected, but its advised to stay at base. You can handle one of the artillery stations, can't you?" With Rikdeth's response, Harrier only nodded in agreement, before saluting himself to the general. As Rikdeth left for his Oracle, Harrier sat himself down, his head tilted towards the ground. Unlike other generals, Rikdeth truly cared for the safety of his men, and Harrier was proud to serve such a general.
Part 8 of Turn 6
With the absence of enemy EMF soldiers, Harlock enjoyed the relative ease of travel throughout the school. If he was fortunate enough, he could hot wire an enemy Oracle, and head back to the High Ride, the High Tides' air craft. With a bit of luck, a deity answered his prayers, when Harlock witnessed an unoccupied Oracle near one of the school's buildings. He dashed for the vehicle, believing other EMF soldiers were on their way to secure the Oracle. Outside the vehicle, Harlock pulled out a device known as a data jacking tool made by the High Tides' lead engineer. He succeed in overriding the Oracle's data system, allowing him to enter the vehicle with ease. Compared to the other models, this Oracle was rather new with thrusters rather than floats. Nevertheless, it was easy enough for an experienced pilot like Harlock to use. He ascended into the clouds, communicating to the Captain about his new Oracle ID, "Captain Tatankoch. This is Harlock. I've secured a new Oracle. Its ID is 892-3EA-49. Permission to board?" Captain Tatankoch replied rapidly to Harlock's request, "You're permitted to board. The hanger will open in ten minutes." Tantakoch also delivered the same message to Claudia and William, "William and Claudia, you're also permitted to board. For now, you three, please suppress the enemy's flying Oracles. We shall flee the vicinity in fifteen minutes." And with that order, Harlock relayed, "Yes, Sir." The last stretch of battle was on its way. Him versus the EMF's reinforcements.
Part 9 of Turn 6
Before Porter's group reached the top of the school's roof, the three escorts were touched by Vivian. At first they thought it weird, but quickly their brains turned to the thought of their past events, before finally reaching to their names. Whatever the reason, they ignored Vivian's odd interaction, because they were simply too focused on their past. Porter reminded the group after spotting them spacing out, "Come on, you three. You're supposed to be High Tides, and you can't even concentrate?" Ferdiech clenched his hands deeper into Mrs. Yanneth's body to hold her more firmly, "Sorry Porter. I just lost it for a second." Sophia and Chuck eyed one another before commenting the same thing, "Same. I'm sorry Porter." A small breath, before Porter pointed to the door, "Here we are. Let's make this quick."
On the roof, everyone secured themselves properly to the ropes. In a matter of a few minutes, the five ascended to the air craft's hanger. A few sounds of gunfire were heard, and from the distance, Porter noticed the mobile command center with turrets readied for artillery fire. Just as Porter predicted, in only two minutes, several flying Oracles appeared over the command center, now firing at the air craft. However, Harlock, Claudia, and William's Oracles suppressed their advancement, protecting the five from enemy gunfire. Porter gripped her textbook tightly, fearing that a stray bullet may knock the textbook out of her hand.
As the five were pulled up into the air, Mrs. Yanneth screamed, flailing her arms and legs about, for she was terribly frightened by heights. Meanwhile, Ferdiech, Sophia, and Chuck remained calm, as if they've practiced this particular maneuver multiple times. Whatever the case may be, they were used to this scenario, and they needed to rely on their comrades and captain for now. Still, it disturbed them that a loose bullet may very well end their lives.
The five minute long ascension into the air craft would shock anyone. A scene of gunfire, and a flash of artillery bombarding the ships could terrify any individual new to the war environment, even the experienced veterans. Alas, the five entered the High Ride safety. One of the High Tide's members, an overweight, stocky man; confronted the five, telling them to quickly come into another room in order to make room for the Oracles, "Quickly, you five! Get to your seats fast. The Captain's crazy I tell you. We're going to go very fast soon!" Ferdiech lunged after the shocked teacher, and roughly pushed her into the other room, while Chuck helped Porter, and Sophia offered to Vivian, "Here. Let me help you out of those ropes." If Vivian remained secure, Sophia would successfully remove Vivian's constraints, allowing Vivian to follow the group to the other room.
In the other room, the five would find several seats and latches for secure placement into their seats. On the intercoms, Captain Tatankoch spoke to the crew, "Everyone. Prepare for rapid flight travel. You all have a minute to secure yourself in your seats, or any form of railing. Now! This is an order to ensure all of your survival!" Porter, Chuck, Sophia, Ferdiech, Mrs. Yanneth, and Standel, the overweight man, sat themselves rigid to the seat and arranged themselves for the bumpy, fast flight. Soon after they were seated, Claudia, Harlock, and potentially William perched themselves tightly into their own seats. Again, the intercom spoke, but with a different, feminine voice, " 'Ell, nice a roni. Let's get this thing goin'. Ya flight to Cainan city!" Once Kei finished her statement, everyone in the High Ride felt an intense force pushing them back into their seats, as the High Ride soared through the air, leaving the Eranyne Military Force in the dust with its speedy exit.
Part 10 of Turn 6
Before Claudia, Harlock, and potentially William returned to the High Ride, for the next ten minutes they dealt with suppressing the enemy's Oracles, as well as, the big honcho himself, General Rikdeth's stocky, unique Oracle, a model cut above everything else with a ferocious lance and intense barriers. General Rikdeth relayed a message to the terrorists, "Prepare to die, you scum! All the lives you've killed...I'll end you all," and then a message to his squad, "Soldiers, shoot to kill. Our mission is to prevent their escape! Block their exits at all cost!" With that final speech, General Rikdeth sped towards the High Ride, lance armed to penetrate the backside of the High Ride. At any cost, he must stop their escape to avenge both his fallen comrades and the students who held such bright futures.
As the General busied himself in the air, Harrier alongside MvKlousy utilized the turrets from the mobile command center to fire at the High Ride. Due to reinforcements, they lacked the ability to fire directly, since they couldn't damage their own men, yet on one occasion, one of the turrets fired at General Rikdeth's Oracle, damaging the General's thrusters. The General yelled at the sergeant, "Control your fire, MvKlousy. One of my thrusters is down!" MvKlousy responded, "Sorry, General. I'll speak with the Turret user. Turret 678B, control your fire!" After MvKlousy's demands, turret 678B stopped firing at the air. The new disadvantages to the EMF allowed Claudia, Harlock, and William to complete their jobs comfortably. Once ten minutes passed, the hanger opened again, allowing the three Oracles to enter. For the Eranyne Military Force, another barrage of fire from the turrets from the command center would penetrate into their flying Oracles, preventing them from following the three into the hanger.

OOC Comments
During the battle, the virus will prevent General Rikdeth's Oracle from functioning correctly, so the High Tides' Oracles will be on equal ground. You'll be able to weaken the General's Oracle, but that's about it. You can't kill the General. The turret fire also helped the High Tides terrorists as well. However, feel free to post that your Oracles are damaged by enemy fire. Just land them into the Hanger, when it opens for your character.
After this post we're timeskipping to Cainan City. You're free to put in your next post to start any conversations you want your character to have with the crew members near your seat, or have your character move about since they escaped. If you have questions regarding what's inside the High Ride, I'll answer them.
A lot has happened once again, especially with the speculation of a potential traitor.
