Attacking/Sundering/Destroying Your opponents Weapon

This issue came up yesterday with my gaming group. One of my players, a dawn caste strong man brawler type, when fighting an abyssal in a Royal Warstrider (soulsteel of course), decided that he wanted to break the Warstrider daiklaive that was being used against him. I came up with some rules on the fly and said that I'd come up with something more solid later.

I had a bit of a look through the rule book, and it doesn't seem that there are clear rules for breaking your opponents weapon. The "attacking inanimate objects" seems to be a start... Though what would an appropiate soak be and health levels? Anyone made up rules of their own?

In the case of artifact weapons, they should NOT be breakable, regardless of the character's Strength. Only a rare few magical effects can actually accomplish this -- such as Earth Dragon Style's Weapon Breaking Defense -- and even then it's a feat.

If this brawler wants to be a serial daiklave-snapper, you might want to help him develop a custom Charm (with appropriate pre-reqs and difficulty) to do this... and then submit it here, of course :)
