Fandom Attack on Titan: Tales of the 747th
Mana let herself get taken by Wendy, eventually running to match her speed. She felt a rush of excitement overwhelm her as she found herself running a bit faster to the Military Base. Soon, she ran inside the base, quickly grabbing her gear and attaching it to herself tightly. The tanks were already filled and her blades in her hands. She held back the urge to simply run out there and waited for Wendy.
It took Wendy some time to prepare for battle. It was her first battle. Against actual titans! She never thought that the day would come. But when she got her gear on, she ran straight to meet with Mana. As she looked around her, it would seem that her comrades have already taken up arms and are battling hard to defend the city. As she looked behind her, a 15-meter Titan had seen her and Mana, it wasn't long until it began walking towards them...

Meanwhile, Titans continued to enter the city. As the townspeople tried to evacuate, the exit ended up being blocked and an abnormal titan began making its way towards them.

S'avelli looked to the side, Regin's panic a prominent feature on his face, "Tch, you want me to carry you bridal style, princess Stracke?" The man smirked, his eyes sparking with obvious amusement, but the fear of the titans still showed. He watched titans as he ran, then turning his head in the direction Regin had told him to, "Alright, calm yourself." He said as he leapt across to another rooftop, feet hitting with a thud and only continuing their sprint, "So, left, left..." He muttered something as a titan came into view ahead of him, "Dammit..." He growled, picking up the pace and leaping into the air, shooting the grapple of his gear out again and flying past the titan, creating a sloppy incision in it's weak spot. "Ugh, Regin, why are you so fat." He said plainly, knowing well that he wasn't at all fat, just a tad heavy.

(Hey, sorry for my crap post, li'l low on my muse.)

Mana looked behind as well to see the titan walking towards them. Her body Instinctively began to move on its own as the pulled Wendy forward a bit, urging her to hurry. Releasing Wendy's hand that she had been pulling, Mana jumped a bit before grappling on to a nearby building that was a bit taller than the titan. She landed on the roof softly and examined the titan with blank eyes. Though many people were usually terrified to even look at a titan, she found it to be quite amusing. Their body structure and anatomy always seemed to be quite odd and it was something that she could learn to enjoy.

"I hope you don't mind, Wendy, but I'll be taking this one," Mana called out to her. Wendy was a bit aggressive when it came to Titans, mainly because of her past, but it was something that didn't really bother Mana. And though Mana's parents and brother were killed by titans as well, she felt no burning urge to avenge them.

The titan was between two buildings, one larger than the titan and one smaller. It was almost past the larger building, so Mana began her attack. With her blades in hand, she grappled onto the larger building and propelled past the titans head. In response, the titan turned its head, reaching out to grab Mana. However, Mana was quicker. Just as her feet landed against the side of the building, she saw the hand reaching for her. She ran up the wall as if she was running on a normal road as the hand slammed into the building. The titan now faced the building with its entire body. To avoid the falling debris of the building, Mana jumped away and landed onto the titans arm. With a slight smile on her face, she began to run along the arm and just moments away from the shoulder, she jumped off, her body moving forward through the air and the back of the titan coming knto view. For just a moment, she was free falling until grappling just below the titans neck. Once again propelling herself quickly, she soon stood below the neck, sinking her blades deeply into its neck and cutting a chunk of flesh out perfectly. With a kick, Mana jumped back and landed on the smaller building.

(Sorry, I felt like being descriptive )

"Alright! Just don't die on me!" Wendy got ready to take on a second Titan that was headed their way. With Mana occupied with one of them, Wendy got ready to take on the other. With range burning in her heart, she quickly sprang into action and got ready to attack the titan. As it tried to grab her, she responded by using her 3D Maneuvering Gear to get herself over to the chest, but soon found herself in the grip of the Titan. She quickly slashed its fingers in a downward fashion before getting around it to slash the back of its neck. As the Titan collapsed, she grappled onto a rooftop to catch her breath.

Allyna flinched as she heard the alarm bells go off, and the scream of civilians as they rushed for the nearest shelter. What a coincidence. The first day she is at the Military Police is the day that titans invade Stohess. The irony was almost laughable. What a wonderful welcome party for the greens.

Reluctantly, she pulled away from Emora, pulling him through the crowd with her, heading towards the site of the commotion. Also known as the titans rampaging through the streets. The fact that she'd been approved to use 3D Maneuver Gear comforted her somewhat, though her nerves were frazzled and jumpy, deciding to take to the rooftops. She was sure Emora would be able to keep up, if the wings on his back were any indication.
S'avelli looked to the side, Regin's panic a prominent feature on his face, "Tch, you want me to carry you bridal style, princess Stracke?" The man smirked, his eyes sparking with obvious amusement, but the fear of the titans still showed. He watched titans as he ran, then turning his head in the direction Regin had told him to, "Alright, calm yourself." He said as he leapt across to another rooftop, feet hitting with a thud and only continuing their sprint, "So, left, left..." He muttered something as a titan came into view ahead of him, "Dammit..." "Ugh, Regin, why are you so fat." He said plainly, knowing well that he wasn't at all fat, just a tad heavy.
(( No prob. ))

The tips of Regin's ears flushed, and he grumbled, "Shut up, you oaf," before bracing himself for impact as S'avelli jumped and ran from rooftop to rooftop.

He felt S'avelli stiffen as he got ready to shoot the grapple, and turned slightly to see what up. The looming grimace of a titan centered in his vision, and Regin gasped, arms tightening again.

He closed his eyes and felt the splatter of boiling titan blood when S'avelli slashed the monstrosity. He grunted, muttering a quick, "Thanks," just before the other mentioned his weight.

Regin reared back, nearly toppling them both as he smacked the other atop the head, "Says the giant!" He proclaimed, childishly indignant, before turning away to pout, the blush growing to the heights of his cheekbones.

Mana met Wendy on top of the building with a small smile on her face. It was nice to see that her best friend was still as strong as ever, but there were more titans to slay and people to protect. With that in mind, Mana turned to Wendy.

"Those were just warm ups. Let's go, Wendy," she said, taking off towards the exit where people were evacuating. Her top priority was making sure civilians evacuated safely and that her comrades stayed alive, so she put a bit more gas to increase her speed.

@Kawashima Thunder

S'avelli chuckled at being called an oaf, not something he was called all that often but it didn't do much to hurt his feelings, "Mmkay, whatever you say, Regin. You wanna pick up your tiara when we get there?" He teased, noticing what could either be seen as embarrassment or frustration, he could never really tell with Stracke, he was a bit... odd. "You think you would fare well on your own? With that attitude you leave me thinking that I should let you off with a warning." A smirk rolled into his face, amused by his friend's response to the rather creepy Titan and the blood that now gave the man's face yet more color, "You are very welcome. Anytime~" Sanosa's spoke sarcastically and continued his run when he nearly tripped.

"What the hell, Regin?! You trying to get us-" That was when man became boy and Regin turned to pout, the once faint blush on his cheeks rising, For someone older than me, he truly acts like a child... Geez... Is he angry or what? Eh, what am I thinking? He's obviously pissed off, not that I care. What's his deal, anyways? You'd think he'd be glad I came to the rescue... Little pansy... "Yeah, I'm a big guy, t'least I ain't dainty like a certain someone I know." S'avelli focused on getting Regin to his gear so he could drop him off and fight off more titans, narrowly avoiding the open hand of a Titan.

They always had defining features, this one's eyes were bloodshot, it's face in the form of an utterly stultified scowl, dark brown hair that stopped just below his ears, nasty looking freckles, slightly yellowed teeth, pupils shrunken like a sun-dried raisin, but smooth. Just the edge of its disgustingly ragged nail brushed against the young man's shoulder and urged him to move more quickly as the sight of slowly drying blood beneath the nails and on the face of the Titan shrank his own pupils and made him aware of the reality, the deaths that took place moments before he'd arrive at the location of Stracke's gear. "Dammit... They're already getting themselves killed..." He muttered, looking around before he reached the end of a vaguely familiar building, "Right... Uh... Fuck... Why couldn't you have just clicked your heels together and wished to go home..." He grumbled, "Okie, goin down!" The man made quick to hop down, keeping a tight hold on Regin and taking the brunt of the impact, "Now hurry the hell up before you get yourself killed." He released his friend and turned his focus to a Titan reaching into a building, "Oh-ho ho, no you don't!" He shot the grapple and made his way onto the roof to reach the Titan, pushing his concern for Stracke's well-being to the back of his mind as he hurried to face the Titan, whose attention was slowly but surely turning away from the building and to the quickly approaching man. S'avelli opened his mouth to speak warning to any people in the building, but all that left him was a powerful shout as he leapt towards the Titan, which responded with a loud roar, ripping its arm through the building and back handing S'avelli straight out of the air and down at a building.

The soldier found himself with little time to react, finger on the trigger of his grapple slipping before his back struck the stony structure, knocking the wind from his lungs and sending him like an injured bird to the ground with a thud. He watches as the Titan approach and rose, defying his body's orders to stay down, "God, you're one ugly-ass Titan... If you were human I'd slap that ugly clean off of your face..." He chuckled breathlessly, wiping blood from his face with the back of his hand, "Come at me, bastard."

"You got it!" Wendy followed her friend without question. When they were getting closer to the evacuation, Wendy realized something was wrong. There was something blocking the exit! Not only that, but there was an Abnormal Titan headed that way as well. Although horrified, Wendy tried to keep up with her resilience. All of it was happening too fast, but she wouldn't allow it to stop her. Her aggression amplified as she began having a flashback of her parents' deaths. "No...Not again...NOT AGAIN!!!!" She yelled as she used up much more gas to increase her speed to get there faster, zooming past Mana.

Orders were soon being given out. Because there was no end to the horde of Titans, all remaining Soldiers, were signaled to retreat and only to focus on Titans that were on the way back. It wouldn't be long until they were overrun...

Mana saw Wendy fly past her and immediately connected her actions wth the approaching Abnormal Titan. In a rush to support Wendy, if needed, she sped up, but still lagged behind her. Just then, her eye caught sight of the blocked exit. Who, at such a moment like now, was blocking it? From what Mana could see, there were still many people yet to escape with the exit blocked. This had to be solved quickly. More and more titand were entering the city and it wasn't even fully evacuated yet!

"Wendy, can you take care of that Abnormal? I'll try to figure out what's taking the civilians so long to evacuate," Mana called out to Wendy.

A familiar figure on rooftop made Pan pause. And then she noticed the other person beside Allyna and her eyebrows went above her bangs. She sent an assessing glance at her gear--calculating the gas left--and pressed her lips into a line. Pan glided to a full stop beside them. "I've been looking everywhere for you." Were the first words out of Pan's mouth despite the sheer scope of the situation. It was ridiculous, but she sounded like someone scolding their little sister. "We have to get out of here."

Pan made a full stop so she could look at Emora. "It's been forever and a day and you finally turn up again now?" Pan shook her head but there was a grin there too. Something about his eyes that struck her as off. Pan lifted an eyebrow but now wasn't the time. "We need to go. Evacuate behind the wall before they stop letting people in."

Allyna nodded, which was barely noticeable if people weren't looking. She leapt off the building, knowing that the other two will be behind her. She swung easily through the air, mentally calculating the momentum and centripetal force involved. Those stuffy lessons she was forced to take as a child did help in some way, though it was probably not how her parents imagined it would be applied. She raised an eyebrow at the amount of civilians running around in a panic, slowly but surely going towards the right direction.

Landing on a nearby roof, she waited for the rest of the trio to arrive. A small part of her shook its head in amusement; it appeared whatever happened, their little group would always be together, even meeting in such a place like the military. She still recalled the day that she had turned in her form, when she was younger than most of the other recruits, and the incredulous glances she'd received from the others, whispering behind her back that she wasn't going to last long.

With a slight nod, Mana sped off towards the crowded exit. She landed with a thud and made her way quickly past the civilians. A look of surprise and irritation rose up in her as she stared at a large cart, most likely filled with food or other supplies, blocking the exit. A rather plump man who was shorter than herself stood beside it, shouting at the other people.

Plump Man : "Hurry up, you useless fools! If you want to live to see another morning, you better start pushing!"

Civilian 1 : "Just move your damn cart! There are children here!"

"What's going on? Why is the exit blocked and why aren't you all evacuated yet?"

Civilian 2 : "That damn man refuses to move his cart. We can't get passed!"

Plump Man : "Oh ho. You there! Military woman! They'll listen to you! Tell them to help push this cart. I'll pay you however much you want! You do know who I am, right?"

As Mana approached, the expression on her face turned cold and bitter, much in contrast with her usual happy self. It wasn't often that she was like this, but that man-- no, that thing-- caused this. If these people died now, it would be all that things fault. But that wasn't going to happen. At least, not with Mana around. She stepped up to the man with her blades still tightly gripped in each hand.

"Hell. No. Honestly, I could care less about who you are and I don't give a damn about your filthy money. All I care about is that you move your goddamn, piece of s**t cart out of the way. Now, or I'll imagine you as a titan. And naturally, we the military are meant for killing titans."

Plump Man : "W-What ?! How dare you say that! I'm the one that provides food for you damn military dogs! If you know what's best for you, you better--!"

"You sure talk alot for a dead scum."

Mana raised her right hand and sword to his throat, pressing it hard enough against him to draw a bit of blood. The man, clearly frightened, ordered his men to move the cart. As soon as that was done, the other civilians flooded in quickly. Feeling refreshed and happy, Mana let out a sigh.

"I like that girl's style." Pan said. She craned her head sideways, dark hair falling over her neck, and scanned for titans. Quiet a few were visible beyond the rooftops--staggering aimlessly like overstuffed gluttons. "Those idiots." Pan curled her lip. Her air very offended at the notion of the merchant population. She checked in with Allyna--black eyes stalling on her for just a moment to confirm her general safety and collectedness. "I wasn't even supposed to come in contact with titans. That's what I joined the MP for." It was all vindictive complaining. Pan had always been able to adapt to situations. Maybe because she didn't waste time thinking them through.

She looked at Allyna again. Pan stalled to give into any inherent reflexes she had until she knew what Allyna wanted to do. It took the briefest calculation to decide that her friend's life meant more to her than anyone else's. "Shall we retreat now?" Pan asked, voice soft. For every person who got out alive surely three others had been crushed underfoot. She folded her arms firm against her chest. The long lines outside the gate made her eyes glaze over.

"Let the scouts do what they were meant to do." Pan said. Her voice lacked any strong emotion. "Come on."

As the Abnormal Titan continued to charge, Wendy had a sudden burst of energy and, fueled by rage, hit the Titan's weak spot, sending it to its demise, dulling her blades in the process. So she ejected them before replacing them with new ones seconds before she landed next to Mana. "So what caused the delay?"

@Sayuri Tokage

Still with an angry expression on her face, Mana replied, "Some fatass, good-for-nothing, piece of--," barely stopping herself from dirtying her mouth any further, she started again. "An old man and his cart. But don't worry, it was all taken care of," she said with a smirk. She turned around to see the rest of the city, wondering about what their next move would be.

@Kawashima Thunder

Allyna raised any eyebrow underneath her bangs as she stared at the scene with the merchant. She distantly recalled the merchant from a distant memory in her childhood, probably at a family dinner with her parents, but she really couldn't bring herself to care. Most of the merchants she'd known were snobby idiots, and she never paid much attention to them anyways.

Standing up, she gripped the hilt of her swords as she spotted titans over the rooftops. She felt like she had the worst luck ever; even though she'd signed up for the Military Police, which stayed inside the walls, away from titans, she still encountered them on her first day. Staring back at Pan as she addressed her, she nodded slightly to let her know that she was fine, and she would be fine with whatever Pan decides. She had never been the leader in their little group, and it would stay that way as long as she was concerned, always following the older two around like a lost puppy.

Allyna felt detached as she turned and stared into the mass of civilians. Her mother would be in there somewhere, but she couldn't let herself worry for her right now. Turning around to follow Pan, Allyna erased her worries from her mind, slipping into an even colder mask.

@Cross_Rhodes

Pan stalled a moment to track the two women near the gate. "You're not weak." Pan made eye contact with the solider who solved the merchant problem with single handed finesse. She stared a long moment despite having struck up a conversation with a virtual stranger. "Don't waste any more of your life solving these people's problems." Pan turned and swept her hair behind her ear. No one she personally knew was among the civilians. Pan glanced at them until something like empathy settled in her stomach and she had to look away. Everyone was either food or survivor. There was no in between.

"I forgot to ask about your parents." Pan voice came out flat--because she was unpracticed at civil conversation. She looked at Allyna and her fingers curled into her palm. She wanted to keep close to Allyna, never less than a foot away from her, in case something happened. "Maybe it's stupid of me to bring up." Pan continued. She checked her left blade and frowned at the deep grove across the steel. As effective as they were, the delicacy of swords designed to slice titans baffled her.

"I'll keep an eye out for anyone you might know." Pan assured Allyna in a soft tone. She placed her blade back in its holster. Her dark eyes traveled back to the women near the gate. "You don't owe anyone anything but yourself." Pan reiterated. She didn't know why she insisted on giving the girl advise. Maybe because she wasn't weak.

Meld, after holding up the titan's body until it finally evaporated, heard the call for a retreat. He glared, they were weak, he didn't need to leave. He needed to stay and fight, to rally, to lead...

He quickly made his way unto a roof, looking around as more and more titans came. Meld was about to go off and kill more titans until another trainee grabbed unto his jacket, pulling him back. There were more trainees then the notable group taking the most action, and the trainee who had held him back, Aeira, was a sort of mother-figure for most of the other trainees. She looked at Meld with worried eyes.

Meld nodded and sighed, and began swinging around the city in retreat with her, making their way to the gate. "Live to fight another day, Meld, we'll need you.", she said as the two finally landed next to the gate, a group of three nearby. Aeira quickly began running off to a few others who got to the gate, and Meld thought on her words.

Allyna nodded back at Pan, acknowledging to words Pan said. She was grateful; no matter how detached she was from this world, those she cared about would always hold a special place in her heart. Her mother was the only other person of her family that shared her grief, and she refused to associate with the other relatives who hid behind their fake smiles, voices coated with sickly sympathy which they didn't even feel.

"Thank you," Allyna's voice was a low whisper, easily dismissed if someone hadn't been listening closely. When she saw Pan star almost questioningly at the 3D Maneveur Gear, she almost smiled slightly. All of her worries faded from her in that instant. Swords were her forte, and as her hand rested and the well-cared for swords, she felt something flood through her. Following Pan's line of sight, she stared at the women fighting the titans. Turning and raising a questioning brow at Pan, she silently asked what Pan wanted to do.
