When she wakes, she feels the dull throbbing in her calf. She is groggy and trying to remember what happened. She opens her eyes, pushing herself up on her forearms. The time was now 2:45, way past 10 when she first started running.
Running? Then how did she end up here? She shot herself up, eyes wide in confusion and fear. Was she Kidnapped? Or Raped? She tried pushing herself out of the bed she was in but the throbbing turned into a painful spiking. She winced, moving to look at her leg.
"Bandaged? But why am I not at a hospital?" She wondered out loud.
