Wandering Vault Hunter
I would like to suggest to the admins to add a tab for people who want to play Assassin Games.
For people who might not know, the Assassin Games are a series of games in which multiple people are needed. Those people are handed out roles and characters. They can cast a vote once a day to decide whom to lynch. The reason to this is because there are multiple or one assassin hidden within the "villagers". The game consists on two periods: daytime and nighttime.
Mayor events happen on daytime and nighttime will be time for assassins to kill one of the villagers, leaving the person out of the game. All of this can be done by a voting system. There may be several factions on a game, several win conditions and some other abilities, but the essentials are the same:
Assassins- Kill everyone
Villagers - Survive and Kill the assassins
As for why this might be relevant to the page, it is because it is a text game just like the quest logs, with the only difference that they will end after a given time. When the game is over, the thread can be deleted or stored and a new game might begin.
To keep thing simple, there can be at most two games at the same time and different people must be playing the game. This can be changed, with due respect, on your opinions. Also, I will post an AG skeleton:
Assassin Game Skeleton
- The aim of the game is to kill all of the opposing faction/s [AKA: the Assassins]
- Every "Day" period Players discuss in the Discussion Thread on who to vote to get lynched the next "Day" (You must vote in the Voting Thread in accordance to the rules).
- Assassins will have to choose who to kill during the "Night" period of the game.
- Players with Abilities will also choose their targets during the "Night" period
- The cycle keeps going until either:
1. All the Assassins are dead
2. The number of innocent Players are equal to the remaining Assassins
Abilities
These are sent via PM from the GM along with your Role. Sometimes these abilities have percentage rates of actually working, so don't always expect the abilities to work unless they don't have percents (Eg: 50% chance of working). Abilities common with all Assassin Games include:
- Kill Abilities: You kill another Player.
- Investigation Abilities: PM the GM a player's name to see their Role name/alliance.
- Protection Abilities: Protect a Player of your choosing for the "Night" from any Kill Abilities.
- Vote Altering Abilities: Rig the votes according to your abilities. (Eg: You can "change" another players vote to another target)
- Passive Abilities: Work without the need for you to PM the GM. (Eg: Your vote counts twice instead of the usual 1)
- Posting Requirements: EVIL but compulsory when you are to post in the thread (Eg: You must write "I hate you" at the end of every post in the Discussion thread).
Depending on the GM you may be rewarded for doing so, but mostly it is there to help others identify you. If you fail to add your requirement, you may be punished.
