Ain't no law on the frontier, ‘cept what a man can make with lead and a steady hand. Used to be, folks reckoned Heaven sat high and mighty, watchin’ over us. But greed’s got longer arms than faith, and when men ran outta land to claim, they set their sights on the Almighty’s own backyard. Them men stormed the pearly gates—and when the dust settled, Heaven weren’t nothin’ but rubble. The angels fell, their bones picked clean.

But Hell? Hell never did need invitin’. It was already here, sittin’ patient-like in the cracks of the earth, smilin’ at the foolishness of men. Now the devils ride alongside gunslingers, makin' deals with men under moonlight, grinnin' through too many teeth in the dark.

This here world’s a cruel, hungry thing, and a man’s got two choices—ride hard or get rode over. So keep your iron close, stranger.

The sun ain't never set upon the damned.

This RP takes place on the fictional continent of Sableterra. Inspired by tales of the Wild West, as well as the relentless and often bloody land grabs of days gone past, it is meant to be a gritty, dark, dust-choked tableau upon which we will hopefully build some compelling stories. Emblematic of the hardships and trials of frontier life, and the aftermath of the great gold and land rushes of the past, in this universe’s canon, humanity’s ever-driving desire to expand and push the borders of its own domain has led to the destruction of Heaven itself

In this story, Heaven and Hell are real. Or were real, in Heaven’s case. This broken world plays host to all kinds of monsters, both infernal and otherwise. Demons and Devils aplenty roam the frontier in search of riches and souls

The less hellish (though still kind of hellish) denizens of the land include Humans, Automata, Infernal-Touched, and Gunpowder Witches, as well as a few still-living remnants of the Great Old West, Beast-Men and the like

Life on the Frontier is hard, far from the cities of the East, and not for the faint of heart. Bounty Hunters, Lawmen, and Desperados of all kinds are welcome to apply
