    Personality: There are a few words that can describe Clair, confusing may be one of the more accurate ones. She never keeps her mind set on one particular goal or situation. Seeming to go after whatever interests her at a particular moment. Despite her unpredictable nature whatever her current aspiration is she'll charge toward it with determination. You'll know if Clair chooses you to be one of her friends. Almost swallowing you into her circle you'll constantly be reminded of her presence. Weather it be her constant check ins or notes reminding you to "drink plenty of water!" or "Don't forget to go outside once and a while!" Her constant 'Mother goosing' causes her to be rather Clingy. She does this with good intention but may not realize it as annoying or overprotective. She is quite forgetful and slightly dependent of other people to remind her of things. Important dates, names of people shes just met, what day of the week it is, so its not a surprise to walk into Clairs home and see small notes attached to EVERYTHING.

    History: No one in town really knows much about Clairs past. She sorta just showed up one day. A few speculate shes a witch, but she hasn't done anything yet to show as proof. When asked about her family she'd mention about having a older sister and close family but thats about it, she quickly changes the topic when pressed for more information. She often invites people out for tea, usually only the elderly residents take her up on the offer. She always shows up to the town festivals and events and most often has a hand in planning, shes very involved with the community even though shes only lived in Ash Creek for about three years.

  How often do you post and how much do you usually write per post? At the very least I tend to write a short paragraph, at the most I can do about 3-4 probably more but I'm still getting use to paragraph type roleplaying after doing 'chatroom' rp for years. but it usually depends on the situation. I will not be dropping one liners on anyone though.
  Does poor spelling/editing bother you? Depends? If its on purpose and meant to annoy people then yes, but if the person genuinely has trouble reading or typing I have a lot of patience. And things such as bbcode and stuff like that doesn't matter to me if anyone else uses it. I just like to make my stuff look a lil 'pretty'.
  How active are you in OOC? Pretty active, I love to bounce ideas around with others and include everyone although I'm a little awkward with talking out of character. All my characters have WAY more confidence than me haha.
  If you won't be able to post for a long time or need to leave the RP what will you do? Considering that I'm basically the 'dm' I'd hopefully find a willing substitute and let everyone know, as well as find a good spot in the RP to leave so I don't cause to much of a disruption with my absence.

BACKGROUND​

The Dawn family was blessed with two bundles of joy on the night of Winter 5th. A beautiful baby girl came first followed by a dashing twin, namely, Summer and Winter.

The two were inseparable ever since like two peas in a pod. They were good children and their parents were beyond proud to have them. However, a fire of jealousy ignited within Winter's heart as he felt overshadowed by his "perfect" twin. Their relationship started going downhill ever since.

The boy changed and became the total opposite of who he was before. He learned how to rebel, smoke, drink and other acts which their family deems as unbecoming. He is currently a prominent member of the Adventurer's Guild.

The girl landed a contract as an idol and lived in the city for five years. She recently came back to rekindle her fallen relationship with her beloved twin.

Personality: Leo is a friendly fellow. He always thinks about the needs and concerns of others before even considering his own. As a result, he’s a very good shoulder to cry on. Although he’s quite the encouraging and great friend to others, he is not a friend to himself. When no one is around, and he is left alone to his own thought he often puts himself down like no other.

History: Leo only moved to town just recently. He’s originally from some big city, but he doesn’t talk about it that much. His parents always wanted him to become a singer. According to them his voice was like the angels. It’s not anything that intense, but Leo did believe himself to be quite good. While the voice lessons and training were hard on him, he genuinely enjoyed singing as he thought it to be quite fun.

Due to his constant lack of free time, Leo has never really had any friends even though he’s always been the friendly boy that he is. Leo pretended that this didn’t bother him as he wished to please his parents, but it left him very lonely. This left him to turn to games (mostly handheld and on the go the go games since his parents always made sure he had a very busy schedule).

When he turned 18, Leo was entered into a big-time singing competition. While he had a lot of fun with it, he only placed second. This loss made his life a living nightmare. His parents physically and mentally abused him for being a disappointment to them. His lessons were doubled and all his games were smashed.

The boy dealt with this for some time, but just couldn’t do it anymore. He ran away from home in search of freedom and something more. He’s been on the run ever since, hoping to find somewhere where his parents can’t reach him anymore, but they somehow always seem to find him. They never attempt to take him back home, but they do send terrible words.


House:

Leo has taken residence in a very tiny house by the river. The house was originally deemed uninhabitable, but after some negotiation with the mayor, Leo was able to make it his home. The paint is chipped, and the walls are covered with vines. The windows have been broken and covered with tarp to try and prevent the cold air from coming in. It is definitely a fixer upper, but Leo does not yet have enough money to fix it/get a new place.

No one has ever been inside Leo’s abode since he’s moved there, but it’s absolutely covered with trash (soda cans, pizza boxes, etc.) except for one little corner where his streaming set up is located.

How often do you post and how much do you usually write per post?

I post at least once daily unless I’m in an interaction and haven’t been responded to yet by the other person or real-life things get in the way. My favorite is when I get to post multiple times daily though, but I don’t expect others to do the same so don’t worry!

I always write a paragraph per post but usually it's around 2-3. Sometimes if I get excited my posts can get quite long though...

How active are you in OOC?

I usually talk to my fellow rpers through pms in Discord or Skype, so I’m not too active in the OOC. If others are active I will probably be though because I love when I’m able to talk to other people about the rp we’re doing and throw out ideas!

If I’m unable to post for a while I’ll tell everyone in the OOC and make sure my characters are out of the way so people aren’t stuck!

  She originally came from a bigger town a fair distance away from the village. She travelled back and forth to the city to complete her nursing studies. She moved to village a few months after graduating college and job hunting. Her cousin, Samuel who was already living village of Ash Creek had informed her of a nursing position available at the local clinic as the previous nurse had reached retiring age.

  Samuel has dark brown curly hair that has a somewhat messy appearance and has grey/blue lazy looking eyes. His skin has a slight tan from being outside a lot. He dresses in pretty plain clothing and colours, sticking to a plain T-shirt or sweatshirt with some jeans, as long as it's comfortable to wear (comfortable enough to nap in). He frequently has to wear band-aids if he hurts himself while working because of his fear of blood (he doesn't mind pain, he just minds looking at blood). Even if something as simple as a paper cut happens off he runs to cover it so he doesn't have to see it.

  Samuel has lived in Ash Creek for most of his childhood on and off. Living with his parents in the same town as Amelia until the summer, or any other school holidays where he would spend it on the farm with his grandparents.
  
  Once his grandparents got too old to deal with the farm themselves they handed it over to Samuel to look after mostly alone, with some guidance from them when needed.

  Samuel's farm which he took over from his grandparents is a livestock farm, dealing in mostly dairy produce but deals with wool as well, just not as much. Because of the focus on livestock there isn't much crop on the land, it is mostly made up of large grassy fields and animals sheds/Barns

  I post pretty often. I'm on the site daily My replies vary in length depending on the situation but I rarely write less than two paragraphs as a minimum.

  Not too much, fingers can slip, autocorrect can screw you over. I get that. Though if it's to the point that I am confused by the post I will speak up about it.

  Again, I visit daily and I like a good chat so I'd say pretty often.

  Let you all know of course when I disappear it's normally class related but my classes end in a few weeks so I don't think I'll need to disappear soon or after that. If so I'll give you a reason to move your character from mine so you aren't stuck~

  At the age of eighteen, Elizabeth had met up with a city boy named Ronny when he was passing by the town. The two quickly hit off and became very close. By the time she was nineteen, she found she was pregnant and they both began to plan out their new lives as to-be parents. But when Ronny was on his way home from the big city, from which he was picking up his belongings from, he was in a tragic car accident, and it was lights out.
  
  At twenty Elizabeth had given birth to a beautiful baby boy and since then she has made her son Matthew, her pride and joy, but has closed off and left the rest of the world in the dark.

  If was a horrid day for the both of them when Ronny had passed and Christopher had done his best to comfort his sister, even if he, himself, was broken and torn from the loss of his friend.

  How often do you post and how much do you usually write per post? I just got a new job, so I'm still getting used to working as much as I do now. I can get a post out every other day or every 3 days if not more often. How much I write really depends on how much you give me, I can write upwards of 6 paragraphs or I can give you 3-5 sentences. I do tend to try to balance myself with what everyone else in writing so that no one feels overwhelmed with my posts.

  How active are you in OOC? I tend to not be very active in the OOC unless we are talking about our characters or the story. I do interact with everyone occasionally, but not as much as others.

Personality: Dakota used to be quite the happy guy. There was never a moment where he would be caught frowning, but ever since he got back from being deployed his smiles are extremely rare. He who was once the epitome of nice now looks cold and callous. While he appears that way, this is not how he actually is. At this point he just feels numb but attempts to be the kind soul that he always was before as to not worry anyone.

He has a pretty severe case of PTSD but tries very hard to hide it.

Also as a result of stress, he is now a heavy smoker.

History: Dakota was born and raised in Ash Creek under loving parents Emily and Jasper Wingfield. They were the portrait happy family, and nothing could have been better. Dakota was extremely helpful around town, volunteering to do any work that needed to be done. This helpful attitude and his caring personality led him to be friends with most, if not all, of the townspeople. He had been planning on moving to the city and becoming a famous actor until his mother was diagnosed with cancer.

Dakota and his father, Lee, tried everything they could to save Emily. Many treatment options were attempted and paid for, but nothing seemed to work. They tried local medicine and even went half way across the world in hopes for help, but there was nothing...

With the rock of the family gone and their funds completely depleted, Dakota found himself giving up on his dream to become an actor and going into the military at the age of 18. As he saw it, this was the only way he could help his father with their financial troubles and keep the family bakery open, for his mother.

As luck would have it, a long and hard war started almost right as Dakota joined. He was sent to the front lines and experienced events that scar him to this day. The time he found Mia is particularly gruesome and might potentially be found out by another character in the future.

Personality: Mia seems to be afraid of everything. She won’t let anyone except Dakota touch her and is often found hiding behind him. Despite this, she is a very good little girl. She does everything Dakota tells her to and is actually quite sweet. She’s the type of kid to quietly and shyly put a cookie in front of a person while they’re turned around, then quickly run away and hide before they turned back.

Mia was born during the long war. She doesn’t really remember much, including her parents. They could have been terrorists, they could have died in the war, she doesn’t know. All she remembers is hiding with loud noises booming all around her. Bombs? Gunfire? She never knew what was happening.

At one point she found herself caught in the crossfire. She wasn’t sure what happened then, but before she knew it she was safe in Dakota’s arms.

History: Lee was a man of the seas (basically a pirate), before he met the love of his life aboard an enemy ship. He thought it was love at first sight, but she didn’t feel the same way. As an enemy, Emily thought him to be ridiculous, but there was no way he was giving up. As Lee’s ship took Emily’s over, they fought one-on-one, sword-to-sword. It was an intense battle full of banter, compliments(Lee) and witty insults(Emily). Eventually, Emily won the battle, but instead of killing her attacker she decided that they deserved a truce for fighting such a worthy fight.

That was when their love story began. The two sailed the high seas together, taking treasure and living their lives to the fullest until they decided to settle down, have a family, and run a bakery like Emily had always wanted about 27 years ago. The rest proceeds as Dakota’s does.

Personality: Killian can be rather surly and has a bit of a sour nature. He's not a big fan of change, often complaining about.. well just about everything. But past his grouchy outside is someone whos very passionate about the things he cares about.

Relationships: -

History: Killian was a miner back in his twenties until an accident that badly damaged his legs. He's now depends on a cane to walk although recently his condition has been declining. He was also an avid fisherman, claiming to have caught a shark with a rusted crown in its mouth, inspiring the name of his Inn. The accuracy of that story is a bit ify. His gruff and unpleasant attitude can be traced back about 5 years to when poor old Cassi Died, she was a friendly golden retriever and Killian's service dog. He hasn't been the same since.

She was the former nurse in the local clinic, working well past retirement because she enjoyed it so much, until her eyesight started to go bad she decided it was finally time to stop. History: Deon moved to Ash creek when he was still a teen. After a argument with his folks about going to college he hopped a train and never went back. Back when the town use to be a popular camping and fishing area he would run a ice cream stand at the beach. But because of old age and some rather unfortunate circumstances he's been retired for quite a while. He now spends his days out on his front porch in his favorite rocking chair.

History: You may think Cedric is the mayor of ash creek because he is such a stickler for perfection and commanding but the real reason is most likely that no one has really ever ran against him in an election.   Liam was born on the other side of the country in a fairly large town, though he has little recollection of it as his mother died when he was young and his father was an active member of the military, so Instead of dragging Liam through different countries his father sent the very young boy to live with his Grandparents in Ash Creek where he would live until present day. Growing up with his grandparents Liam always helped out with in their small Cafe, where durring is teenage years he started working part time and after graduating high school he started to study Marine Biology through an online college.
