A fluffy cat lays sprawled out in a spot of early morning sun. Becoming slightly excited each time a bird happens to land nearby. "Come on Coco." A soft, breezy voice called out from the field. As a lady known as Clair would be walking up towards the small house. "Time to be the welcome wagon." The cat would let out a disapproving meow continuing to lay in its favorite napping place beside the porch. "Suit yourself then grumpy. Try not to run off." Clair sets a watering can down on the porch steps and walks over to a vintage looking cruiser bike, basket up front and all. She swings a leg over and bumps the kickstand up before starting to coast down the dirt path leading from the farm to the road.

Keeping a leisurely pace she stops in front of the general store, one foot propped on the ground as she takes a moment to check the bulletin board. Besides the bi-weekly town meeting announcements there doesn't seem to much to take note of today. Starting off on the road again she waves to Mr. & Mrs. Perry as she passes their house. The old couple already up and at it this early in the morning. But before Clair can get very far Mrs. Perry calls after her. "Miss Clair!" She'd quickly stop causing her back tire to rear up a little. Scooting herself back in front of the old couples steps Clair smiles at the older woman. "Yes ma'am?" Mrs. Perry hobbles down the steps and puts a wrinkled hand on her shoulder. "I was just wondering if you were still on for tea this afternoon. Deon has been asking for more of your shortbread." Clair nods cheerfully. "Of course I just need to make another batch.." Her sentence trails off as her eyes widen a little. "THATS WHAT I FORGOT!" She exclaims loudly, her hands shoot up to each side of her face then quickly back to her handlebars as she turns herself around. "Sorry ma'am, I have to go but yes I'll still meet up with you later this afternoon for tea!" The older woman laughs as she makes her way back up onto their porch and sits in the rocker beside her husband. "What a loud one she is."

Clair peddles hard as she zooms back to the farm, hopping off the bike and letting it drop in the dirt she hurries into the house rummaging through her cupboards till she finds a small note taped to the flour can.
Remember to pick up more flour

"Auggghh!" She groans in defeat. "The stores probably not even open yet." She mumbles dejectedly looking up at the clock.6:40am. "Might as well head back out, it's a nice morning for a stroll I guess." With her shoulders slightly slumped she walks back outside. "Coming this time Coco?" The cat, now interested in all the commotion, saunters over to the fallen bike. Clair picks the bike back up then lifts the fluffy furball into the basket before slowly meandering back into town.

On an tree branch close to the adventures shop sits a small barn owl curiously looking about. It tilting it's head about as it also gives a small whoo looking at an tall, slim man coming out of the traveling shops entrance. The man seems to be unloading things from a truck parked just out side of the shops entrance, he reloads the goods back in side the shop. "Jim are you gonna sit there all day and cause a ruckus or are you going finally come down here and deliver this letter for me" The owl tilts it's head at it's owner finally coming off it's perch, the man extends his arm to as the owl lands on it taking it as it's new perch. the man pulls an paper roll with a small half crescent moon wax stamp in the middle of it out, "do you remember where this goes ?" the owl just whoos at him "I'm going to take that as a yes a pray that your right. " he holds the paper out for the owl as it grabs hold of it. "remember it's going to the Geiger farm not the Inn where you mistakenly took it to last time" he chuckles as the owl takes flight once again, it soars above the town in view of anyone looking up making it's way to the Geiger farm.

The sun felt warm against pale skin as it shone through his open window. A white-haired young man stirred from his position on his bed, pillows and blankets laid on the floor, forgotten ever since he kicked them off during his sleep. Winter groaned before cracking an eye open, he smacked his lips together before getting up for a quick stretch.

"Mmm, what day is it?" he mumbled before letting out an audible yawn. Icy-blue eyes darted to the calendar hanging on his wall, "Oh right." he rolled his eyes after realizing that today was supposed to be an important day.

The man headed to his bathroom to do his daily hygiene practices. He put on a purplish long-sleeve before slapping a matching dark coat with it. He gave himself a quick look at the mirror before deciding that he was satisfied with his look. The mayor's house was a good two-minutes walk but the male decided to dally. He wondered whether he should just walk the other way and pretend that he forgot about all today's plans.

But he knew it was already to late when he heard the sound of cameras clicking and bustling noise coming from the mayor's mansion. For Winter, those sounds never suited the peaceful village of Ash Creek.

Winter found his father entertaining a few people with cameras in their hands while his mother stood beside him with a radiant smile present on her pale face. Winter approached his parents with a blank look. "Winter! I'm so happy." his mother, Beth, said excitedly which immediately made the boy soften. However, a nudge to his side made him fling his attention to his father, "Winter." he said with that tone. The younger male knew what he meant. He wanted him to smile for the cameras. "You said her return would be a secret. Why is a crowd here?" he retorted only to be ignored.

The male tried his hardest to oblige and smile but it immediately faltered when he saw a black car pull over in front of them and the small crowd. In a blink of an eye, all the attention left him and was bent to the vehicle, specifically, to the person coming out of it. The door slowly opened and a pale female with long, silky white-hair clad in a white summer-dress carefully exited the car, eliciting reactions from the small crowd.

"Summer!"

Beth and Cedric immediately ran to their daughter and scooped her up in a heartwarming hug while their son remained on his position with crossed arms. Summer melted into the hug but pulled away after a moment when she noticed the absence of her brother. Winter felt his sister wrap her smaller arms around him for the first time in years yet he only remained stiff, never reciprocating the gesture, wearing a bitter look on his face.

Summer must have noticed and pulled away, two pairs of icy-blue eyes locked with each other before Summer turned away and faced the crowd. She waved at them and their family entertained them for a bit longer before telling them that she needs rest. The small crowd of fans slowly dissipated and their parents headed inside the mansion where they said they're preparing a small breakfast to celebrate Summer's comeback, leaving the twins with each other.

"I really should be catching up on study..." Amelia trailed off as she walked along the dirt path from her cousins farm, his dog Bibek following at their heels his tail wagging furiously as he trotted along. "One day off isn't going to hurt, Lia" Samuel spoke with a lazy looking grin walking alongside her, his hands loosely resting in his pockets. "Your mom is always calling to make sure you're okay and guess what terrible liar has to pick up the phone when you're lost in your work and don't bother?" He asked rhetorically, his hand moving out of his pocket temporarily to place a thumb to his chest, pointing to himself "I cannot convince that woman no matter how hard I try. So try to relax at least one day so I can tell her you aren't working yourself to the ground. 'Kay? Other than that I don't care what you do" He said with a shrug of his shoulders.

Amelia wore a huff as she fiddled a piece of her curly brown hair, moving it around her finger as she looked over her shoulder at the disappearing farm house "Fine. But only for Mom, I'll try" she answered quietly as she continued to follow alongside her cousin into town.

Turning the corner at the Lamb's home, the two had just caught the tail end of the crowds that surrounded Summer's arrival. "Oh...that was today." Samuel thought allowed as he watched over on the direction of the Dawn family home. Amelia looked confused "What was?" She asked as the two continued to walk "Winter's twin coming home, I heard him mumble something about it but not much else other than that." He explained as Amelia narrowed her eyes a little in the direction of the dispersing crowd "Didn't even know he had a twin..." Amelia said quietly, Samuel shrugged "It's not something he talks about often." He said nonchalant.

"Well I'm saying hello, It's been years since I've talked to her" Samuel said, looking over his shoulder to check if Bibek was still following and not running off. Amelia turned to start walking off "Well the clinic is just across the street so I'll just-" Samuel caught her by the back of her shirt collar "Day off?" He reminded her, raising a brow "So instead of that, you can just come with me?" Amelia opened her mouth to argue but nothing came out so she opted to just shut it instead "Fine." She grumbled.

Samuel content with her answer rolled his shoulders back a little as the two continued on their way to the Dawn household, Amelia's eyes still taking quick looks back at the clinic as they walked. Once close enough, Samuel offered a wide smile at the two, his hands returning to his pockets "Morning" he said simply as Amelia just quietly waved, thinking maybe she could sneak off once Samuel was distracted enough.

The twins stood together, their similar-looking eyes locked with one another. Winter broke the stare first when he averted his gaze somewhere else. "Winter, I missed you." the female began, her voice soft, reminding the male of the good old days. However, he refused to reply nor show any emotion on his cold face aside from annoyance.

The silence was broken when the lass let out a gasp when the two noticed two figures approaching from the corner of their eyes. Summer's gaze lingered on the man, his messy brown hair, greyish-blue eyes and tan skin were severely familiar to the young girl. The man reminded her of holiday breaks and summer days spent on the farm, just laughing and playing all day long.

"Sammy!" the white-haired idol suddenly blurted out while she ran to his direction and gave him a tight hug. Winter simply nodded at Samuel and Amelia before rolling her eyes at his sister's outburst. He walked over beside the nurse and jabbed a thumb to his sister's way, "That's Summer. She was never around for five years so you probably never knew she existed unless you watch TV or something." he said in a nonchalant manner, his voice not showing any interest at the topic.

Summer decided to ignore her twin's subtle attempt to ridicule her and instead focused her attention on the two. A dazzling smile adorned her face as she pulled away from the hug and looked up to study her childhood friend's face, "Ah, you're taller than me now." she giggled. The last time she saw him was years ago so she was more than pleased to see him once again especially since she thought that he'd be going away again because he's just in town for another vacation.

She turned her attention to the strawberry-brown-haired woman, sending a smile as she did, "Hello, my name is Summer Dawn." she introduced herself before sticking out a hand to the other girl for formalities' sake.

Elizabeth & Matthew
The sun had barely peeked through the window then there was a movement on Elizabeth's bed. She let out a soft grumble before turning to her side, ignoring the movement. "Mum?" a tiny voice spoke up from her side and she felt tiny hands press gently down on her shoulder, shaking her some. "Mum?" Again the voice spoke and Elizabeth slowly opened her eyes. "What is is Matthew?" Elizabeth's voice was soft and barely heard as she began to move around some to sit up. She stretched some, then sat up looking at her son with a gentle smile. "Can I go outside?" As Matthew spoke, Elizabeth let out a soft giggle. "With those clothes on?" She raised an eyebrow looking at his attire he had chosen himself.

Matthew looked down at the clothes he had quickly thrown on when he woke up. An overly large long-sleeved green and white striped shirt that looked more like some sort of dress on his tiny figure and a pair of shorts that were barely distinguishable underneath the shirt. The whole outfit was completed with mix match socks of different size and color and a large ballcap that if he wasn't holding up would possible engulf his head. Matthew let out a giggle and nodded with an innocent yet silly smile. Elizabeth let out another soft giggle and stood up from her bed and grabbed Matthew, wrapping him in a large heart-warming hug. "How about we get you some different clothes, straighten up your hair and get some breakfast in your belly first silly."

With that Elizabeth placed Matthew on the floor and grabbed his hand gently as they walked back to his room to get him changed and ready for the day. Elizabeth quickly set out some more appropriate clothing for Matthew then walked into the kitchen to start making breakfast. She quickly started making some scrambled eggs with toast for the both of them and by the time Matthew had walked out of his room and climbed up into his seat his plate was done. "And breakfast is served" Elizabeth sang a bit as she placed his plate down in front of him, watching him lick his lips and grab his fork. "Careful it's hot" She turned back to the stove as she finished her eggs, but kept occasionally looking over her shoulder at Matthew to make sure everything was fine with him.

As her own eggs finished she set her plate down, but before she could sit and eat she heard a faint meow and a fluffy body rub against her leg. Elizabeth smiled as she looked down at Whispy. "Matthew, when you're done eating can you give Whispy his breakfast?" Matthew looked up with his mouth full of food and nodded quickly as he quickly chewed and swallowed before taking another large bite of toast.

Soon Matthew had finished his breakfast and he jumped down from his chair and ran over to the side cupboard by the fridge, Whispy quickly on his trail. Matthew opened the cupboard and reached into the large container that held Whispy's food and grabbed the scoop. He grabbed a large scoop of food and placed it in Whispy's nearby bowl before placing it back and closing the cupboard. "Can I go outside now?" Matthew chimed as he rushed over to the front door, basically jumping with excitement.

Elizabeth chuckled. " Let me get dressed first and we'll head out." She said swallowing the last of her food before grabbing both of their plates and setting them in the sink to be washed later. Afterward, she quickly went back to her room and got dressed in a yellow and silver sundress, a pair of sandals and her usual golden necklace. "Okay, let's go." She smiled as she joined her son's side then headed out.

Christopher
Christopher had woken up earlier than usual and quickly begun getting cleaned up and getting dressed for the day. He paused while he was in the bathroom, finishing up his usual morning routine. He looked in the mirror and rubbed his still tired eyes before fixing up his hair some. There was no use going back to bed now that he had already gotten ready for the day, but he would definitely have to get to bed early tonight, he had stayed up way too late the night before.

He let out a soft sigh and slashed some water carefully on his face before drying himself off and heading to his small kitchen, grabbing nothing more than an apple before leaving the small house he called home. He sat on his porch looking out toward the streets, letting his mind wander as he took the first bite of his apple.

A deep sigh escaped young lips as he sat back against the rough seat. His eyes had been closed for hours, but he hadn’t had a wink of sleep since he had just vanished from his old town a few days ago. Trying to escape his guilt, Leo attempted to focus on the cold morning air rushing through the window, on the smell of fresh pine needles blowing through the wind, on the sound of water rushing its way down the bank, but it was of no use; Once Leo was left to his own thoughts, there was no escaping them.

“Think about how much the townspeople will worry.”
“I know, I know…I just…I don’t know who I can trust anymore…I-“
“Selfish.”
“No! I mean…kind of but I –“
“Coward.”

With that, Leo bit his lip, knowing all to well how correct the voice inside his head was. All he had to do was be brave and stand up to his parents. Everything would be so much better if he could just do that. He would stop having to move yearly and maybe he could even find HAPPINESS.
“You think you deserve to be happy?” His own voice echoed through his head with a scoff.
Leo closed his eyes tighter as he tried not to succumb. He knew the voice was true, but he also knew it wasn’t. He-

“We’re here. Are you sure this is the place?” Said the taxi driver, breaking Leo out of his rather depressing thoughts. He looked to his left to see a beat up old shack with a hefty amount of vines growing up the walls, a few appearing to make their way through the smashed windows. It definitely wasn’t the most welcoming of places, but it was better than most of his previous arrangements.

“Y-yeah, this is it! Thank you very much for driving me!” Leo said a little nervously as he got out of the car, proceeding to remove a few bags and boxes from the trunk. He sifted through his pocket and handed the man all the money that he had. It wasn’t much, which seemed to anger the man. “So sorry I can’t give you more…” Leo said in response to the mean look that he was given, but it didn’t seem to help his case. The taxi driver grunted angrily before driving off, making a U-turn so he could go back the way he came.

With a sad sigh, Leo shuffled his things away from the street and closer to the house, so they wouldn’t accidentally get run over, then walked over to the door. “No lock...?” He asked himself as he turned the knob and entered the house. The inside was just as unimpressive as the outside. The vines that came through the window covered the floor and crawled up the walls. Most of the wood that wasn’t covered by vines had splits and cracks, looking as if just one touch would break them. Leo covered his nose as an unpleasant smell came from a particular corner. He honestly hoped it wasn’t some dead animal…

With the damage observed, Leo exited the shack and began walking towards the center of town. The town seemed peaceful enough from what the mayor told him on the phone. So hopefully leaving his stuff on the porch would be alright; There was no way he was getting all those boxes in with those vines there.

As he walked, a girl on a bike came into view ( ClownPope ClownPope ) and Leo greeted her with a waive.
“Hi! Sorry to bother you, but do you know where the nearest farm is?” He asked the woman. Leo had heard from the mayor there were a couple farms strewn about the town. Maybe one of them would let him borrow their shears for a little while so he could get rid of those vines.

• Samuel & Amelia Krauss •

Samuel flashed a smile when Summer blurted out a nickname he hadn't heard in a while "In the flesh" he responded, chuckling softly when the girl had ran over and hugged him tightly. "It's good to see you again, Summer" he said returning the hug but in a more lazy fashion compared to Summer's tight squeezing.

Amelia blinked as she viewed this new girl that had been introduced as Winter's sister. Ah yes. She had seen her before on T.V now that she had looked her over. Her eyes moved from Winter to Summer then back again. They really did look alike too now that she thought about it.

Her brows had furrowed ever so slightly in confusion at the utterly bored way Winter mentioned his sister and how long she had been away for. Her green eyes studied his face for a few moments to look for something akin to a smile or an excited spark in his eye. But, he didn't seem all that happy about it. This just confused her more. If it was her, she'd be pretty excited to see her sibling after 5 years...

She broke her gaze "...Ah...right." she said in a tone that communicated her current confusion around his reaction. "I don't really follow the gossip an things around Idols but... I know her from T.V. I guess I'm surprised I didn't make the connection somehow." She said honestly with a slight shrug. "I didn't know that she and Sam were such good friends either, being friends with an Idol seems like something you would mention" she added after, unaware that Samuel deliberately didn't mention her to Amelia incase she'd tick off Winter by accidentally asking about her while at the clinic someday or something he did actually think about his responses sometimes...

Samuel dropped his arms as she pulled away, looking down at her when when she mentioned his height, answering her dazzling smile with a lazy grin. "I was taller than you before you left too if you don't recall" he reminded as the touched the top of his own head with his hand before hovering his hand over hers. "But yeah, 5 years. I'd say I've grown a little bit" he joked as he took a step back from Summer and returned his hands to his pockets.

Amelia looked from the smiling face to the hand now offered to her from Summer, offering a friendly smile back, seeing no reason not to, she seemed pretty friendly. She shook her hand gently "I'm Amelia Krauss, It's nice to meet you" she greeted back. "I moved here back a bit... I'm Sam's cousin" she added, thinking she should probably clarify who she was since she was the only one here who was "new" as such. Samuel had walked closer to the group after Summer had turned her attention to Amelia, patting Bibek on the head as he wandered around Samuel's feet. "She's our new nurse" Samuel added after, as Bibek moved from his owner and continued to circle himself around each person for a sniff, as dogs do.

Yellow eyes gazed to the ceiling as sleep seemed to be impossible. It felt as if he had been lying here for hours, trying to will the sleep to come. Deciding enough was enough, Dakota attempted to move but was met with a slight bit of resistance. He looked down to see a young girl cuddled up to his side, her small arm extended over half of his stomach.

A small smile managed to creep onto the hardened man’s face. He remembered putting her to sleep in her own bed, but she snuck into his anyway.

“How sneaky…” Dakota thought to himself as he gently picked up her arm and put it elsewhere, sneaking out of the bed with as little sound and movement as possible. Mia’s past left her dreams ridden with fear and sadness, so seeing her sleeping so peacefully was amazing. Hopefully, she would sleep like this for a while longer. She deserved it.

Dakota placed a small lavender dress, littered at the bottom with embroidered white flowers, on the bedside table. He wished he could leave Mia a note, but sadly she hadn’t learned to read yet. Hopefully setting up her clothes would be enough to let Mia know to go outside. Last time Dakota had left without saying anything Mia cried for days…

It would probably be fine. Mia was a very smart girl.

With his mind eased, Dakota gathered a simple white shirt and some jeans, and tiptoed out of the room with his expert stealth skills. He proceeded with a quick shower before getting dressed, leaving the house, and going across the street to the family bakery. He thought that it might be nice to open the shop a little early to help his father out a bit. Dakota stopped at the door to the bakery to smile at the name. Putting both of their names together…he couldn’t believe how cliché it was.

Dakota’s smile disappeared as he remembered his mom. He would be lying if he said it didn’t still hurt to think about…

Clair had been partially dazing as she rode along till a voice pulled her out of it. She quickly hit the brakes and put a foot down, the momentum causing her back tire to drift her almost all the way around to face the person. Coco on the other hand gripped onto whatever she could inside the basket letting out a irritated mrow.

"OH! Hello! Hi there! It's no bother at all, my farms just back that way." She pointed in the direction she came from. She didn't recall seeing this person before so she assumed they must be new to town. She thought for a short moment and remembered. "Ah right, I was suppose to greet them when they arrived, thats what I was doing this morning." She beams at the man with a bubbly grin. "You must be new! Is there something you need? I can totally help you out!" She gasped at another moment of realization. "You must be the one moving into that little shack! Oh my goodness! Not to be rude since I guess it is your home now and all but that place has seen way better days. If you want I could help you clean the place out It'd be no problem." She puts a hand to her mouth realizing shes probably talking to much and that she hadn't even introduced herself. "Oh dear I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm Clair by the way, Clair Geiger. I own the farm just down that way...wait I said that already." With an exasperated sigh she holds her hand out. "Oh and this is Coco." With a light giggle she patted the cats head with her free hand.

Leo moved back in surprise as he did not want to get hit by the bike. It seemed he had caught the bike owner off guard, as they spun around to almost completely face him. That was quite lucky.

“Oh, you’re a farm owner?” He said in surprise. It seemed as if he had gotten pretty lucky himself. “I need some shears to cut through the vines at the shack by the lake. They’re pretty thick.”

He smiled as the woman continued to talk. It was nice to see someone as lively as her, very refreshing.

“Leander Alexander, but you can just call me Leo.” Leo said with a small laugh. This girl was pretty funny. He slowly extended his hand for the cat to sniff, then began to pet her. “What a cutie!” He said to the cat as gently scratched under her chin. “Also, I think I can manage on my own, but you’re welcome to help if you’re not too busy. I warn you that it is pretty bad in there “

Actually, help would be pretty great, but he didn’t want Claire to bite of more than she could chew. He wouldn’t want to be a burden.

“I would love to borrow some of your tools though. Maybe some cleaning supplies if you have any…? Sorry for asking for so much…”

Leo looked around him. The tower was fairly nice. Hopefully he would be able to stay here longer than his other places. “So, how long have you been here for?”

A couple moments went by as the owl would swoop down between where Claire and Leo would be distracted by the cat, it quickly rose back into the air nearly hitting a post not to far along. in its confused and worried state it drop the rolled paper with the wax seal on the ground creating some dust where is landed. the owl it self quickly flow away heading back towards the traveling shop as if its completed its mission. once it returns it lands on the window sill whooing at the man setting up a display case within the shop. "back so soon?"the man said walking over to the owl and petting under it's chin. "i hope she go the letter this time. its gonna be a lot of work so i really could use a hand or two." He pull up a chair letting out a long yawn stretching as he does so. "i guess its time for a break. although the opening is tomorrow.. nah i can spare a few minutes."

"Hm, Alright Leo." Clair got off her bike, holding the handlebars. "We can walk back to my farm and I'll set you up with some tools and stuff. I'm not doing anything till around one this afternoon so I can definitely help. It takes more than a overgrown shack to scare me out of helping someone." She laughs. Coco purrs lifting her head then nudging her forehead into his hand.

Clair wheels the bike around Leo then starts walking back from the direction she came. "And don't worry about asking for anything. What are neighbors for right?" She giggles and does a small excited shimmy. "Oh goodness that's exciting to say, I love meeting new people. I've been here about three years now but it feels like forever. You're gonna love it here I just know it!" She looks back at him.

"Speaking of which where are you fro-" Before she can finish her sentence Clair watches the owl swoop past them. It's a Owl she knows very well, it always turns up whenever a certain someone is back in town. "Jim?" She says somewhat confused then a burst of excitement goes through her out of realization. "OH!" She nudges the kickstand of the bike down and stands it as she hurries and snatches the roll of paper off the ground looking it over. Carefully she tries to pop the seal open but not break it.

Noticing this might seem kinda rude she looks back at Leo again. "Um..Sorry but I might need to go meet up with someone." She looks over Leo once as if taking an assessment of him. "I think I can trust you so you can walk over to my farm if you want. The tools should be in the shed next to my house. Cleaning stuff would be inside under the sink if I remembered to pick some up last time but I'm pretty sure I did so yeah feel free to grab what you need." Remembering again that this person is new to town and probably doesn't know where she lives she bring a palm to her forehead in frustration with herself. "Just take a right at the library and keep going up that road, theres a sign since the path is a little hard to see from the road but just know if you hit the woods you've gone to far." She laughs.

the roll of paper turns out to be a letter of sorts, its hard to make out but i seems to be written in Japaneses characters. meanwhile back at the travelers shop the man seems to finally got off the chair and back to work. he started lifting boxes back out from the truck and placing them on to the shops floor looking over each and ever item in the box to make she he got what he needed."well i hope every thing is here. not having what happened the last time they messed up my order happen again. or i wont be getting anything for another week." the owl tilts his head at him whooing in confusion."you and me both Jim you and me both"

Leo couldn't help but feel that Claire's happiness was contagious. Her merriment made his worries seem as if they were nothing, which was definitely a change in mood for him. For the last few days he had been overcome by sadness and regret, but this interaction completely changed that. It was interesting how just one person could make another's day so much better. He couldn't believe that this person was willing to help a complete stranger clean their new house. It was a selfless and very much appreciated act. Previously, Leander didn't exactly know how he was going to make the place livable. Honestly, he had been planning to camp outside tonight as he assumed he wouldn't be able to get rid of all the vines...and that smell. Perhaps with the help of this kind farmer, he wouldn't have to be bug food tonight.

Leo continued down the path happily as Claire spoke. He heard the dreaded question leaving the girl's lips, but she was thankfully interrupted. "Don't worry about it, go do what you need." The young man said with a smile. Secretly, he was fairly sad that the walking bundle of happiness was leaving. He quite enjoyed her company.

He listened as she gave him directions. She was really going to let him walk all over her farm in search of supplies? That was a pretty dangerous thing to let a complete stranger do, but he supposed this was a very small town. The crime rate was probably extremely close to zero here. "Are you sure? Thanks a bunch! We should hang out sometime when you get the chance. I bet the farm work leaves you pretty busy, but my offer stands whenever. You're being so nice and letting me use your things, so the least I can do is buy you a drink sometimes...preferably after I get my first weeks pay."

Winter noticed how the nurse's eyes danced from him to his twin sister, making him fidget subtly as he dug his hands on the pockets of his pants. When her gaze lingered on him, he couldn't help run a hand through his white locks consciously.

Summer on the other hand puffed her cheeks in a childish pout, "You never talked about me?" she teased rather convincingly. Winter scoffed, "I bet he forgot you even existed. You never visited." he commented in a bitter manner. The white-haired female quietened, pursing her rosy lips.

A light cough from the older twin broke the pregnant silence and awkward atmosphere. She once again bent her attention the new town's nurse, "So you're Shorty Sammy's cousin.." she repeated as she felt a smile form on her face, "Ah! Mama mentioned you in one of our calls. She said that you're wonderful at your job." she added.

Bethany, the twins' mother, has always been sickly. As a result, she always had to visit the clinic for her weekly check-ups. "Thanks for thanking care of my mother..and Winter too." her bright smile faltered into a sad one for the briefest moment. She wished that she could always be there for her family.

Winter flung his attention the sniffing dog before bending down and giving the animal a gentle pat in the head. A soft bark came from Summer's many boxes which made the lass hurry to the pile and open a transport cage only to reveal a stout and butter-colored corgi. "Uhm, this is Mr. Snuggles!" she introduced with a sheepish smile while the dog simply gave its owner a lick on the face.

Winter had to hold himself back from snatching the dog from his sister's arms because of its cuteness and his weakness for animals. Summer let out a giggle before an idea popped in her head. Her parents are probably busying themselves preparing a meal. "So much has changed here. I'd like to visit everyone and greet them. Do you guys have anything else to do? If not then you can accompany us." she suggested with her trademark grin. "Wait, us?" Winter knitted his brows together.

Clair nodded to Leo. "Mhm, We'll definetly have to hang out sometime! And don't worry about it, with the state that place is in this is the least I can do. And once I'm done with my own things I'll stop by. If that's alright that is." She props her kickstand back up. "And you don't have to buy me a drink, I'm pretty sure my tastes are to expensive for you right now." She winks and clicks her tongue before swinging her leg over the other side of the bike. "Oh and one last thing. Theres a chicken coop that looks very similar to the shed, the coop has the fence around it. Please don't let my chickens out." A soft chortle escapes her mouth as she swerves around him then peddles off towards the other side of town. "See ya later Leo!" She calls behind her as if saying farewell to a old friend. Coco fidgets around in the basket, unsettled by moving again.

Once a little ways away Clair sighs in somewhat annoyance thinking back to the note. She most definitely cannot read Japanese and wished he would just come and say 'Hi' whenever he's in town instead of sending her on a wild goose chase to find where that loony owl dropped his message. Thankfully it happened to be right near her this time. Laughing to herself she shook her head. One of them really needs to sit the other down sometime and teach each other another language so at least one of them can understand the other. But that probably wouldn't happen anytime soon since he never stays in town long enough. A frown almost creases Clairs mouth before she perks up. Glancing at the Adventurer's guild as she goes by. He usually sets up around here. Hopefully shes in the right place.

Before she can doubt herself the building comes into view and she slows to a stop right out front and props her bike up. "Hey! Tall, dark and dofus where are you?" She calls out playfully as she walks into the doorway.

• Samuel & Amelia Krauss •

"Hey. Hey. I did not forget you, Summer" he said with a laugh as he raised his hands defensively "She just... never asked? Besides. I thought Winter would have said something, he's always at the clinic to get patched up by her. It's how they know eachother in the first place" he pointed out, trying to make it sound like it was just laziness on his part rather than protecting feelings.

Winter's bitter comment had earned another glance from Amelia before her gaze moved off again and she frowned. It was rather obvious that their relationship was strained. But Summer seemed so...sweet? Maybe she'd ask him about it later... Did that count as unprofessional? No. Not if she asked him when she wasn't working. She'd be asking as a friend. Though she had a feeling she wouldn't get much of an answer, was it even her business anyways?

Her thoughts were broke by Summer addressing her again, this time about her mother mentioning Amelia "Oh. I'm glad she thinks so" she said with a slightly self-conscious laugh "And you are welcome. I'm just doing my job" she said with a gentle shrug of her shoulders.

Upon hearing the soft bark, Amelia's attention had moved towards it. As did Bibek's he had stopped sniffling around Winter and was now following Summer in an attempt to play with the smaller dog, causing Samuel to have to call him back incase he'd knock Summer over, he wasn't that small of a dog after all. "Oh! He is so precious~" Amelia said aloud with a bright smile, she obviously didn't find any reason to hide how cute she found the creature, with his fluffy coat and stubby little legs.

In response to being asked to accompany Summer, Amelia began to fidget with the end of one of her curls, looking over at the clinic. "Well, I-Ow!" She was met with a flick to the back of the head from Samuel. "She's been trying to not take her day off today, I'm trying not to let that happen" he said rolling his eyes "So sure. We'll both come along any distractions are welcome" Samuel piped up as Amelia just pouted at her cousin in response as her hand rubbed at the back of her head "Okay..." For someone who moved like a sloth, he could flick pretty hard...

Elizabeth & Matthew
Elizabeth grabbed Matthew's little hand as they walked outside. They both walked down the stairs off their porch and headed toward the library. "Mum?" Matthew's asked as they neared the building. "Can I go play?" Elizabeth paused looking down at her son. She didn't particularly enjoy letting Matthew run off on his own without someone to watch him and She had yet to see Christopher yet today. "Let me open the library and I'll find someone to watch you for a bit," Elizabeth spoke as she reached for a band on her wrist that held all of her keys. They turned the corner and walked up to the library door, grabbing the correct key and unlocking the door.

Just as Elizabeth was about to take a step inside Matthew Tugged on her dress, pointing down the road toward the small group of people. "Can I go play with Winter?" His voice raised with some excitement. Elizabeth stepped back, looking down the road toward the group. She smiled, almost surprised that Matthew could pick out winter from down here. "Well," Elizabeth paused, wondering if Winter could be able to handle Matthew's energy this early in the morning. "Pleaaaaeeeeese. I won't cause trouble. I promise!" Matthew basically begged as he gave Elizabeth his best puppy dog eyes. It took a moment but soon Elizabeth let out a soft sigh of defeat. "Fine, but you must ask if he's busy or not. I don't want you to be bothering him if he has something he needs to do."

"Yes!" Matthew jumped up with joy and ran to the edge of the sidewalk. He paused and looked both ways about six or seven times before looking back at his mother for permission to cross. "Go ahead, it's clear." She smiled, looking both ways as well before giving him a solid reply. Matthew quickly ran across the street and rushed his way toward the group. "Winter!" he yelled as a large childish grin covered his face and he ran straight up to the boy, jumping with excitement and joy. "Can we play today?"

Elizabeth watched from the street corner, waiting to make sure everything was okay before she took her attention away from her son and the group.

Christopher
After finishing his apple he stood up and headed inside. Grabbing the general store keys and tossing the apple core in a trash bin. He let out a soft sigh, rubbing his face some before stepping back outside and stretching. He would need to grab or make himself some coffee before the day is over if he kept up like this. After stretching he rubbed the back of his neck and began to head down the street toward the general store. It was still a bit early, but Christopher was known to open the place early on occasion, so it would be no big deal.

He took his time making it to the general store, even though he lived right next door to it. He sent a wave over to Elizabeth, who he saw standing in front of the library then headed inside and turned on the lights. He looked around, the place needed a good sweep and mop, but it was neat and nice looking overall. He had just about anything and everything someone may need, of course excluding a few items that just didn't sell too well or were seasonal, but he had a little more than the basics.

As he stepped forward some he straightened a bottle on one of the many shelves, everything was organized and easy to find and he liked to keep it that way. He smirked and flipped the sign on the door to open before getting his register open. He took a quick look at his inventory sheet and what he would need to order then grabbed the broom to start sweeping up the store.

As Claire walks in threw the doorway she could see piles upon piles of boxes stacked and scatter about the shop's floor, a few items and trinkets or sorts were littered across folding tables, shelving units that hung from the ceiling and other different display cases. Within the mess of organized chaos sits a bird perch and upon the perch sits Jim the owl spreading it's wings as if to either scare Claire off or to show off it's beauty. The owl whooed at her as she stepped in the shop seeming confused about this new person.

In a sudden motion arms wrapped around Claire's waist, as a tip of a chin lays softly upon her head, she feels like shes been pulled away a little bit as she enters the embrace of the man. "i guess the letter finally got to your door this time." he says loosening his grip as he pulls away from the hug, he would walk in front of her bearing a happy smile across face. "I've returned once again." he says dramatically as he gives a bow to her."hopefully for a long while now, unless there is any problems." he said kinda now panicked about his choice of words as he stands back up straight adjusting the sleeves of his jacket. "i missed you angel, the roads are long and lonely with out your company, and Jim here isn't the greatest conversationalist." Jim just whoos after hearing his name mentioned. "oh did you read my letter? was wondering if when you made your way here you could bring so h.." his sentence drifted off as realization hits him. "oh right... i wrote it in Japaneses and i'm the only one who can read it..." he rubs his head embarrassed. "we have to sit down one day so you can teach me how to write English." he now moves to a table arranging so things on it. "i can't wait to see that farm of your's again, i really miss waking up to the sun shine coming from the window, the smell of the fl..." he trails off talking about her farm.

Summer was more than pleased to hear that both Samuel and Amelia (although the former more likely being volunteered just like Winter) will be going with them to tour her around the town she spent her first eighteen-years of her life at. However, a part of her felt sad knowing that even her brother didn't mention her. She was about to suggest that they set off with a smile before an excited voice called out for her brother. She whipped her head to its direction only for her to set her gaze on a small boy with brown hair and large, doe-like, amber eyes.

Winter immediately opened his arms upon hearing the said voice, his usual blank expression being replaced by a brighter one while he scooped up the child into his arms. Summer simply tilted her head to the side in confusion. She remembered that her twin wasn't this good with kids before. The female wondered whether she was looking at her nephew!

"Winter, is that your-"

She was cut off with a usual annoyed Winter, "This is Matthew." he said simply before turning his attention to the kid. He gave him a gentle boop on the tip of his small nose, "You know what, buddy? You're just in time for an adventure. We're going to help this old lady-" he paused to use his mouth to point at Summer, "explore Ash Creek." he bent down to set him on the ground, "Since you're super cool and know the town like the back of your hand, It would be a great honor if you lead the way." he added with a grin, humoring the little one.

Summer remained oblivious to the fact that her twin was referring to her as an old lady a moment ago, beamed brightly and clasped her hands together. "He's so adorable~!" the female cooed right before she noticed Matthew's mother, or at least she assumed, watching from the corner of the street. The white-haired female waved at her, "Hi, I'm Summer!" she practically yelled from her spot which earned a quiet "You're gonna wake the dead." side comment from Winter.

If ever the young boy ventured out, the twins would follow them and urge Samuel and Amelia to come with them. "So, Sam, are you here for a vacation? Or are you visiting your cousin? How many days are you gonna stay?" she casually bombarded him with curious questions.

Amelia couldn't help but giggle a little at the young boy running full speed towards the group and hop up into Winter's arms, offering him a little wave and a smile. He was just so cute and full of energy. He even managed to pull Winter from whatever mood he was in about his sister so his presence was certainly well timed.

Amelia was prepared to follow the group once they had set off, despite feeling she could be more useful helping out at work and such but was slowly convincing herself that a stroll around the town with some friends did count as something useful seeing as it was for Summer (Or rather what she told herself as an excuse to go probably) That and she was sure she'd be caught by her blouse collar and pulled back again if she were to sneak off...

Samuel's eyes had caught glimpse of the small boy closing in even before he had shouted for Winter, simply chuckling once he did and continued to approach them "Morning Matthew!" he called as Bibek barked at the boy. Samuel's gaze moved away from the others as Summer began her questions. "Hm?" He blinked at first before realising that she must have thought he still only vacationed here when free. Wow, it really had been a while... A slow smile grew on his face as he ruffled his messy curls with his hand, shaking his head after "Neither actually. I live here now. Have been for a few years. Lia is staying with me until she settles in" He explained, his blue eyes narrowing ever so slightly before speaking again. "What about you? Are you back here to stay? Or are you just taking some time off from touring and stuff?" He asked with a slight tilted head to look over at her.

"Eep!" Clair yelped as she was unexpectedly grabbed. "Holy smokes Conner, don't scare me like that." She giggled after he pulled away. Over the top as always she though with a smile watching him bow. "He actually dropped the letter but luckily I was there to pick it up." She thought about suggesting that maybe he should stop sending letters by owl and actually come over to tell her he's back but then again, Although it was a bit of a hassle each time she enjoyed it. It was something that made him well, him.

"So how long are you gonna be here this time?" She looked around the shop as they talked, not quite able to tell if there was more stuff than last time. Becoming slightly distracted she quickly recoiled back to him and grined. "I missed you too love, and I for one think Jim is amazing at conversation. You probably just arent listening hard enough while trying to keep up that 'strong silent type' persona." She sticks her tongue out at him.

Moving a few trinkets and bobbles out of the way she sat up on one of the counter just listening to him now. He wasn't much of a talker when other people were around so it was nice having these moments. It probably had something to do with the fact that he wasnt the greatest with english sometimes, or because he forces the 'mystical traveling salesman' bit a little too much. Her attention perked up at the mention of the farm. "Oh yeah! The farm! I just installed a couple new bee houses. And the tulips are starting to sprout. Oh and a lady called from the cities last week and made an order for a bunch of flowers. I said it'd be kinda difficult to ship them out there but she said not to worry about it. I still have to call her back for more details..." Clair trails off a little then remembers what she was doing earlier.

"OH! Also I need to run to the store later and get more flour cause I need to bake some cookies, having tea with Mrs. Perry this afternoon. And I was gonna give some to the new guy who moved into town. And the mayor mentioned one of his kids was back in town so I wanted to meet them but on my way I got distracted and ended up talking to Mrs. Perry and that new guy cause I was gonna help him clean out his new house. What was his name again? And I didn't even get to ask him where he's from." Clair puts her head in her hands now realizing how many things she was suppose to do this morning. "and Coco..." She suddenly stops and jumps off the counter scrambling outside.

"I LEFT COCO IN THE BASKET!" She runs out to where she left her bike. The now fussy feline meows angrily and fidgeted around in the basket which was absolutely too high for this cats standards to jump out of. Clair scoops the cat up in her arms, but Coco isnt having any of it and claws her way out and onto the ground. With another irritated meow she wonders into the shop, paying no mind to Jim as she sits on top of one of the many boxes for a nap. Clair rubs her arms and sighs. "Oh dear my heads a mess isnt it?" She laughs sheepishly smiling back at Conner.

he moves a chair so the back is facing Claire "i should be in town for at least this month. if all goes to plan that is." he rubs the back of his head "depends if my supplier can make it out here. If he can it may be longer." he leans back a bit "mmm your baking is great, do you mind if i were to join you for tea as well? " as he leans some more back he lefts the chair up a little. he smiles as she speaks to him this was gold, these little moments made him feel at ease as he began to get lost in his thoughts.

Being startled back into reality by Claire's panic, he feel off his chair landing with a thud as his head hits the bottom of one oh the shelving units which he just set up. "Ow i really gotta stop doing that." Jim on the other hand started to eye up the cat that had just wandered into the shop., giving it a whoo with his head tilted to the side. Jim leaves his perch flying up in to the rafters to watch from above afraid of the cat. "i don't think your head is a mess, i think you just got so much going on that you need a break once in a while." he had gotten off the floor standing up straight, dusting him self off he walks over to her extending his hand. "how about i walk with you to the store, 2 sets of brains may help you." he chuckles a little giving her a soft and loving smile.

Elizabeth
Elizabeth watched from the street corner, glad to see Winter pick up her son with a smile. She smiled widely, glad that he seemed happy enough to watch him for awhile. As she was about to turn she heard a voice call to her. She instinctively looked up and waved kindly to the girl before turning back around toward the library and began to head inside. She trusted Winter to keep a good eye on Matthew, so she didn't worry too much.

Once inside she turned the sign on the door to say that they were open and flicked on the lights. She took a deep breath before beginning her usual short stroll through the library, making sure everything was neat and orderly before sitting at the front desk and opening up her own book, beginning to read.

Matthew
Matthew giggled as he was picked up and given a boop on the nose that made him giggle and beam with happiness even more. When Winter began to speak to him, he perked up, giving him his full attention. "Adventure!" Matthew repeated Winter with a large grin, clearly overjoyed by the word alone. He looked over at Summer and nodded multiple times, clearly excited to show her around Ash Creek.

When he was placed back down on the ground his eyes stared up at Winter and Summer with excitement as he jumped a bit when he was told he'd be allowed to lead them around. It was only then that he looked over to the other two people on the group, looking at them with curiosity before smiling widely, only assuming that they would be coming along for the adventure as well.

Matthew quickly took the lead, occasionally looking back or grabbing Winter's hand when he had gone ahead too far or they had to cross a road. Of course, the first place he was leading them to was toward the park. He quickly showed them his favorite activities to do in the park before they walked back to the sidewalk and he slowly began to lead them to the bakery.
