In a world where Asuna, or Kirito had no part, SAO begins its glory, and hate days as people start drinking stores dry of it, and the NerveGear headset. But this is not a normal game, as many will find out, over the seconds (and the years).

(This RP will begin with everyone at the Town of Begginings, right after Kayaba dissapears after breaking the news.)

Rubii looked completely horrified, tears streaming down her face as what just happened actually processed in her brain. 'This is some kind of joke, right? RIGHT?' she screamed in her brain, running her fingers through her hair and finding it long rather than her player avatar's short spiky hair. "Oh god, Oh my god, no no, this is stupid! this is ridiculous!" She yelled, attempting to log out again and again, completely zoning out those around her. "Screw this, no no no," She hissed, running away from the crowd, down an alley and away from the panicking people.

Rubii slipped into a nearby garden, sitting down and trying to catch her breath. "Oh jeez, What freaking fun."

Markuss' face shows no emotion, as it stared up at where the beloved creator of SAO had recently appeared, and spelled their fates for them. After everyone had been changed with Mirror, he stood there, watching the twilight sky. Inside, he was screaming, yelling, scratching. But outside he knew that it was real. So began walking, wanting to get to the next village before all of its creatures were hunted, and passed by a nearby garden.

Rubii looked up from her hands, having stopped hyperventilating. She got up from the tree root, dusting the non-existent dirt off her noob armor, looking around she spied the other person close by, surprised at how focused he looked and the direction he was going. "Um hey, HEY! Are you going out of town?! Did you miss the whole CAN NOW DIE FOR REAL thing?!" She called out, running after the man. "Seriously where are you going?" She squeaked, running to catch up with him.

Markus looked over at the girl. She seemed to have been crying from the whole event, but was currently trying to catch up. "Yeah, I'm leaving town. You should too. The grounds around this town will soon be hunted dry." He took out his sword as he passed from the town borders.

"Hunted dry? Don't' they respawn?" Rubii looked completely confused, in the games she played they normal respawned 'maybe MMOs are different?' she thought to herself before zoning back in and mimicking the random guy, taking out her curved sword but just keeping it at her side. "I'm Rubii, I'm kinda new to all this kinda stuff, guess it was a bad time to start huh?" She laughed slightly, trying to lighten the mood.

"Yes. You could say you were very unlucky in your timing. My name is Ryokou. Monsters do red pawn, but if too many die, theatre spawn rate drops. A lot." He adjusted his glasses, and entered the fields. A boat-like creature appeared. "Here we go."

She would not cry. She would not cry. She would not cry. Kureni clenched her fists tightly as she quietly exited the tightly packed area. No matter how hard she forced herself not to, stinging streams of salty tears poured out of her virtual eyelids. She grit her teeth and wiped at her eyes.
"Fuck...." She was so entrenched in wiping away her tears she didn't see what was in front of her until she hit it. Bam! The impact knocked the breath out of her. She fell on her butt, and opened her eyes slowly, green eyes squinting at whatever knocked her down. She blinked twice when she what it was.
A huge boar like animal stood in front of her, its red eyes squinting at the stupid newbie player that lay in front of it.

"Least I still look sexy but, the Captain's gonna kill me if this game doesn't first. But hey what's a little life and death for someone who's gonna be a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy. Far as I am concern this isn't more than some high stakes training. I will not bow, I will not break. Been through too many bootcamps and conditioning hell weeks for that." Alex said to himself as he made his way out of the Town of Beginnings. He could still hear the other players rioting in town and could tell this wasn't a joke because the log out button was not in his player menu. His training dictated he get away from such a highly chaotic and unpredictable situation going on in the town.

"There's nothing to do but to beat this game and then kick that guy's ass for locking me in here." Alex finished. He began jogging only to come an abrupt stop as he watched a crying girl being assaulting by a boar. She had no weapon drawn so she likely wasn't intending to engage it in combat and along with tears she may very well be in danger. His instincts kicked in after his situational and he drew his claymore off the sheath on his back. He charged the boar sword forward to impale the distracted boar from its blindside. After running the boar through, he wrestled his blade upward dealing more damage to the boar and getting its attention. He backed away and recomposed himself, he angled his blade to prepare to use [Cascade], a two handed sword skill, on the boar. He brought his glowing claymore down killing the boar and letting it shatter into polygons.

Ryokou watched as the man sliced the boar, with one of the many sword skills in the game. His face shows no sign of emotion, except the arm holding his sword. He decided that he better let these two sort their own out. After all, a beater is looked down upon. His face drooped a little, and began walking again, past the man, the girl, and toward the next village. Twilight began to take hold of the virtual sky above, which he looked up at as he passed the man.

Bo Hisao and Veridius

Bo's sienna gaze turned blank as the robed mans words rang through her ears. She was speechless and was unsure what to do or say at the moment. Instead, she unintentionally gripped Veridius' hand, leaning into him until the scarlet robed man dissipated.

Everyone around them wailed or stood in silent disbelief, some even looking down at themselves in surprise. Veridius's virtual appearance faded from an ugly, deformed fuck with a lavender afro and charcoal skin into what he was now, just an average kid with a stupid sense of humor. An adorable girl she noticed earlier had become a short man with a swollen belly and barely any hair a top of her head. Bo scrunched her nose slightly, remembering that she was about to give her- well him - her number. Thoughts of a possible pedophile fading, realization hit her hard. Veridius seemed like a giant now-

Bo held back a cry of frustration, shrinking back to being 4'7. Running her hands through her once blonde locks, they were now the normal sienna, eyes a 'boring' brown also. She sighed, disheartened, knowing the shit she would get in the game too..

Shaking her head, she promised herself she wouldn't cry or freak out. Instead, she lifted her confused gaze to her caramel haired friend. "Veridius.." She murmured, removing her hand from his to rub her arm. "...Does that mean we're going to have dinner together?"

He felt Bo take his hand in his new body that reflected himself as she leaned into him and out of unconscious instinct, he put his arm around the small girl and pulled her closer. For an irrational reason, he couldn't quite understand what was happening. Did this mean that the two of them were stuck in the game? Was he comprehending this right? It felt like a joke to him. Like all of this was just some prank by the gm and soon a banner would fly down with the words, "We're just kidding! Welcome to SAO!" like a cringe-worthy, poorly thought-out opening scene to a movie. In fact, that was coming next, right?

He looked around. He saw that nobody was laughing. Everybody was dead serious. So, not a joke then? Maybe just a really bad one... one that nobody but him got. Yeah? He looked down at Bo who had removed her hand from his now; he didn't feel it. He couldn't hear what she said. The poor girl looked like she was about to cry. No, it's not a joke then. This is fucked up. He looked around once more. People were shocked, frightened, crying, or furious. He was a part of the latter.
"What the fuck?!" He yelled, completely immersed in the moment.
Bo flinched slightly as he yelled, glancing the other way. "I'm sorry- I-I just didn't know what to say.." She mumbled, staring down at her feet as she shuffled them.
"No-no, it's not you..."

He furrowed his brow and grabbed Bo's hand again. "Come on, we're getting out of here."
Although it was her who had introduced him to the game, and it was her who was more experienced, it was him trying to take the lead now.
Taken away from her guilt party, she felt his hand entangle with hers, beginning to yank her away. "Where are we going? The inn or..?"

"Out of here," he said in a tone that masked the confusion and anger that he felt inside.
But what could they do? After the robed man disappeared, that was that. He gave them nothing to help themselves. Nothing to grasp or question. He said what he did and then fled.
Why? Why did he do that? Why did he do this?

Veridius led her through crowds, blindly pushing past the chaos of people screaming and rioting. Where would they even go? The log-out option wasn't working. For the time being, there was nothing the two could do. This was pointless.
He stopped and turned to meet Bo.
"I'm sorry..." he said, dropping her hand from his.
"Ugh-" he groaned, tiredly, and ran his fingers through his hair, bringing his long feathery bangs back. He kept his hand there. Veridius was obviously distressed but didn't want to show it. Bo bit her lip and smushed him in a hug. Its what seemed appropriate for right now.
"Don't be sorry.." She murmured, burying her face into his stomach.
"Heh..." He meekly laughed as Bo clung to him. But it felt nice. A genuine smile came to him. He wished he had his friend's ability to stay positive at all times.
"Rationally thinking, we can't stay here forever. The log-out option will work again... We just have to wait. Do you wanna burn some time grinding in the fields...?"

He hoped that what he was saying was true. It sounded like it would be. Something like what this man was doing was downright illegal! There's no way this would be allowed to happen in the real world. Sooner or later, they'd be able to log-out and then Veridius would fucking sue!

When he mentioned grinding in the fields, she pulled away and looked up to him. "Yeah! It sounds like a good idea since we might be here awhile." She smiled, nodding.
"Let's go then," he said, significantly more like himself. The two walked through the hoards of players in the city until they reached the gates that separated the safe zones from the wilds. It was dark now in the game world, but the two wandered the empty grassland until they could make out a couple of figures in the fields hovering over a dead boar.

Kurenai glared at the guy, who had just a minute ago saved her from sure death, and growled. "I didn't need your help." She picked herself from the floor and dusted her outfit. "Thanks, but no thanks." Kurenai gave the guy one more death stare and turned around to take in the view. Two figures stood a few meters away from where she and the guy were standing. She could see that one of them, a guy, was leaving. From all the way in the far south of the field, she could make out some other people. A really short girl, she didn't know if she was really that short, or if it was just because she was so far away, and a guy coming towards them.
She usually liked company, but right now she wasn't in the mood. All she wanted to do was find a secluded, safe place to sit and think.

Daichi smirked, towering over the body of the wounded beast. It was a bear like creature that inhabited one of Sword Art Onlines many fields, and he had encountered it just a few seconds ago. After the GM's dramatic speech, Daichi had quickly exited the main area to begin his mission. He had decided right then and their, that he would do anything in his power to beat the game, and save everyone in it. And to do that, Daichi knew he had to grind. He killed the beast in a flash of a sword skill, and collected the loot. Now he had just enough to buy some new stuff.
He went into the menu, and then to store and bought a white and gold overcoat similar to Kiritos. He equipped it, smiled, and continued clearing the area. Their was much work to do.

Dragonslayer looked at the passing male in his peripheral vision as the boar bursted in shimmering polygons. He ignored the girl's protest and instead starting thinking of a wild idea as the set itself. As in any game nighttime was monster central and not a really good time to be by yourself in the fields. But if he hunted on the edge of a safe zone then he should have benefits of a good hunt and safety to run to. Stronger monsters should not only yield better rewards but maybe even better drops.

Just as Alex came to this conclusion a dire wolf spawned with a higher level and looking slighty more savage then the ones in the daytime. Alex sidestepped and used the sword skill [Cyclone] to counter the wolf's pounce. He spun and then brought his blade down upon the wolf cleaving into its back, he raked the blade across its back dealing more damage and killing it. The wolf shattered into shimmering polygons, Alex quickly realised how much effort that actually took compared to a day time dire wolf. But as he accepted the drops for the kill, it was worth it.

Alex began to edge along the trail to the next village not wanting to be here at the Town of Beginnings.

(Sorry! I got really busy ^_^', And no offense Blep but can you not post like that? It's kinda hard to read and a little bit obnoxious)

Rubii looked watched as the dead pixels evaporated, clapping for a few seconds as the others as well, quite surprised that so many people had popped up in the area already. She spun her sword in her hand a few times, still getting use to the feeling of the VRGear and how it processed her movements. "Hey! Ryokou! Ryo!! Wait up dude!!" She shouted, giving the others a little wave before running after the guy "Wow dude, does your gear have a glitch or something? Or do you really just suck at emoting?" She teased with a friendly smile, trying to walk beside him.

He actually smirked at this comment (le gasp) and turned his head a bit. "No. I'm Fine. You have to be serious to beat every level of this game. And I have to be determined to find the bosses den to get through this one." Would you like to join me, Rubii?"

Alex broke into a light jog, he just hoped the stamina of his avatar would be fine with this, he wasn't too sure if the stamina he has in the real world from Wrestling and Lacrosse carries over. It probably doesn't considering that's an in game stat and something tells him that the system is not gonna let him mind over matter his way through. But at least this way he would be making good time to the next village, he was still hunting but also being increasingly careful. He was mostly trying to avoid ending up in a fight with more than one opponent at a time which would spell disaster for him.

Veridius Wensylve
"Uh- guess they're not looking for friends?" Veridius said, looking over and down at his small friend as every player seemed like a lone wolf. Player interactions could have gone worse with what's happening now, he guessed. It was night though. It was pretty common sense that right now wasn't a great time to be roaming the gameworld alone. Buuuut- he had Bo, and he was lucky that he did too. For she was a beater. Yep.

It looked like the female shadow had left while the bigger, male shadow stayed to pull off an impressive hunt on a dire wolf. And a quick one too. Without a word, he then left. It seemed nobody was really into talking in this game.
A little anti-social, eh? Well, it is a popular game among the nerds and weebs...

It looked like a few other individuals were scattered around the field, and they were all walking in the direction of the next town. Something going on there?
"Why don't we follow these guys?" He asked Bo, already going on ahead. Maybe they were missing out on something.
As he walked, he began to realize that this wasn't actually all that bad. Cool grass, bright moon, starry sky, night actually felt like night. There was a chill breeze and everything! He was coming to understand the appeal of this game- and why Bo wanted him to try it out with her. He could imagine that it'd actually be pretty fun. The starting experience could have gone a little better, but eh- maybe after all of this was over, he'd pick the game back up and give it a second try-

His thoughts were interrupted by a low snort. Nice. Finally, it was about time for some action. "Equip sword!" He yelled.
Nothing happened.
"Uhh- how do I open my inventory?"
There was a rustle in the tall grass.
"Oh- I found it, hah," he said, surfing through his items in a pop-up window.
Out jumped a wild boar charging directly at the two.

(Interactions: uwupolice uwupolice and anyone else who wants to interact.)

"Careful there buddy boy, seriousness might get us out of here but it it's going to make everyone misrable, can't fight monsters while crying" Rubii sighed, sheathing her sword and putting both her hands behind her neck to relax a little while walking. "Heck yeah i'll come with, can't let you get all the fame and glory, let's go smash some monster's face in!"

Squad141 Squad141

"Just Remember: Don't be too overconfident. That'll get you killed. Besides, look. Here comes a Boar right now." Another Boar-thing came charging at them. Ryuko's blade flashed bright blue, as the Boar almost hit him. He moved away from, making it barrel behind him, as He cut it to pieces. "That, Rubii, was a special sword skill. Its called, [Patience]." He Sheathed his sword. "There are about seven special sword skills hidden throughout SAO. Along your way, you can help me find them if you want."

StarBabyPixel StarBabyPixel

"Patience?! It's damn suicide! How can you use that without flinching or freaking the heck out?" Rubii was in complete shock, staring in awe and slight fear of the strange man she was now traveling with. "but don't let me be a buzz kill with your attack of bull fighting" She waved her hand slightly, laughing at him.
"I'll help you find them sure, but only if you help me learn them too, can't let you have all the fun!" Rubii smiled, then spotted a boar of her own. "Ok, game time, one, two three!" She yelled, charging at the creature and stabbing it in the head. "Dude! I got one!"

"Good Job!" Ryokou yelled as he he used [Terminator] against another boar creature, chopping it in half. "Remember, use your body, not just your arms. You'll have to remember that to survive out here." Ryokou said this as the boar shattered into bits, and he pulled out a map from his inventory. "Excellent! We're almost to the next town!"

Alex breathed a sigh of relief from inside rhe safe zone surrounding Horunka Village. He was out of breath and frankly quite sleepy. He wasn't ready for the what met him in the deep forest region Horunka sits in. He was attacked by all sorts of creepy insect monsters and his HP was now sitting in the red zone. He killed enough of them to get here, so hopefully he had enough money to purchase some sustenance and lodging. He wanted to explore this village some more but decided rest was more important.

He got up and made his way to the settlement's inn where he would spend the rest of night. After purchasing a room for the night and eating a meal. He began to take care of player maintenance checking inventory, exp, stats, etc. He remembered from the beta test what they sell in the shops and specifically what he must do in morning. He planned to hunt here for a while doubting too many of the newer players would make it here and crowd the hunting spots. He would level up before continuing North in the more rocky area of Floor One.

Good job
