Artifact tattos

There is probably a thread on this elsewhere, but I didn't see it.


Scroll of Errata (p.41) says: All forms of tattoo artifacts are constantly visible, except where specific Knacks or Charms would render a Lunar’s artifacts invisible to detection.


MoEP: Lunars (p.128) says: [Regarding forms other than 'true forms'] The Steward becomes a perfect facsimile, including any scars or distinguishing marks.


So my Lunar (bear totem) has tattoo artifacts Heartstone bracers. If he transforms into a raven from his hearts blood library, will the artifact pattern still be on his wings?

I believe you get both the tatooed designs and the bracers effects in all forms.

You do. So if you had an artifact tattoo chainshirt, all your shapes would have a pattern across the torso. Although it's obviously not canon, check out the comic on page 105 of MoEP: Lunars featuring Red Jaws and his Artifact Tattoo Skin-mount Hearthstone Amulet (it's his left eye).

I believe a Skin-Mount Hearthstone Amulet has a repair rating and so can't be tattooed on a Lunar. Now, a normal Hearthstone Amulet would work.
